I, Gary, Want to Become a Pokemon Master

"Magmar, use Fire Blast!" Blaine ordered.

Magmar spat out a large flame.

"Charizard, get out of the way," Ash shouted.

Charizard, naturally, did not listen to Ash's command and rushed forward, catching the Fire Blast with both claws and throwing it away.

After flying in the air for a distance, the Fire Blast became smaller and smaller and gradually dissipated.

At the command, Charizard immediately began to rotate its body.

In order to avoid being thrown out by centrifugal force, Magmar could only hold Charizard's shoulders tightly with both hands, but even so, the constant rotation in the air made Magmar feel dizzy.

Charizard also felt that Magmar's grip on its shoulder was a little loose, so it grabbed Magmar's hand and pulled it in front of him, then rushed to the ground quickly. 

When it was close to the ground, Charizard used Seismic Toss to throw Magmar towards the ground.

Like Rhydon, Charizard used Seismic Toss again to deliver a fatal blow.

Gary also had to admire such tactics.

Using a spinning move in the air can not only be immune to Submission's counterattack but also stun Pokémon that are not used to moving in the air, and finally, Seismic Toss is a fatal blow. This move is too fierce.

For those Pokémon that are not used to air combat, this set of maneuvers is a bit invincible. 

In the original plot, Gary's Blastoise was also defeated by this move in the Silver Conference game.

"Rapidash, it's your turn!" Blaine continued to send out Fire-type Pokémon to fight.

Gary was confused. Even if the League did not strictly manage the gym, the rules of the gym battle were still set. 

The gym leader did not have the authority to replace Pokémon. If a Pokémon was replaced, it would mean that the Pokémon lost its combat ability.

After the Flash Fire Ability was triggered, Rapidash's attack power can be increased by at least 1.5 times, especially since Rapidash's physical attack is very high.

Fire Blast exploded after landing, and a cloud of black smoke rose. When the black smoke disappeared, Charizard had fallen down.

"You are really stubborn."

Gary felt good when he saw Charizard defeated. It seemed that after evolving from Charmeleon to Charizard, Charizard never lost a battle until it was defeated by a Poliwrath and then began to obey Ash's orders after Ash's careful care.

So letting Charizard experience more defeats is a good thing, which can help it recognize its own strength more quickly.

"Charizard, come back."

Ash was also surprised at how powerful Rapidash was. He didn't expect that after triggering the Flash Fire Ability, it would be so terrifying. Even if Charizard was in full condition, it was not a rival at all.
