Chapter 16: A Demi Human and a Slime
Luu Luu looked at Aiden. "So let get thsu straight, to make Caliber you"
Aiden spoke to her. "I Frist analyse the structure, speed up every manufacturing processes, visualise it then enchanted every detail and put more then enough magic in it, and then I just spit it out"
Luu Luu tryed to process that. "Ok but... The fuck how do I do that, your a slime I am Demi Human"
Aiden looked at her. "I never said you needed to be a slime to learn how to do this"
Luu Luu just looked at him. "Last time I checked I can't just absorb mats"
Aiden looked at her. "What I do is different but this is a type of magic, I call Projection magic".
Luu Luu stared at Aiden, her brow furrowed in concentration. "Projection magic, huh? Sounds fancy, but what does it actually do? How can I use it if I can't absorb materials like you?"
Aiden shrugged, leaning against the crafting table. "It's not about absorption. It's about understanding the essence of what you're trying to create. Projection magic allows you to visualize an object or concept and then bring it into existence through your mana."
"Okay, but how do I visualize something like Calibur?" Luu Luu asked, crossing her arms. "I can't just imagine it and poof, there it is!"
Aiden nodded, appreciating her skepticism. "You need to see it in your mind's eye. Think about every detail—the shape, the balance, the weight. Feel the materials you want to use. Then channel your mana to make that vision real. It's like drawing something in your mind and then creating it with your mana instead of a pencil."
Luu Luu tilted her head, trying to grasp the concept. "So, if I want to make a sword, I need to really picture it and... what? Just will it into existence?"
"Pretty much," Aiden replied, a hint of encouragement in his voice. "The stronger your visualization, the easier it will be. It takes practice, but you can get there."
She took a deep breath, contemplating his words. "Alright, let's give it a shot! But what if I mess it up? What if I accidentally summon a giant fireball instead of a sword?"
"Then we'll deal with it," Aiden said with a smirk. "I've seen worse. Just focus on what you want to create, and trust your instincts. You'll surprise yourself."
Luu Luu straightened up, determination flooding her expression. "Okay! I'm ready! Let's do this!"
Aiden stepped back, giving her space. "Alright, visualize your sword, and let your mana flow into it. Remember, every weapon has a soul. Think about what you want it to accomplish."
Luu Luu closed her eyes, envisioning the sword she desired. She pictured its sleek design, the way it glimmered in the light, and how it felt in her hands. Her mana began to swirl around her, shimmering like sunlight filtering through leaves.
"Focus, Luu Luu," Aiden encouraged, watching intently. "Channel that vision."
Suddenly, a faint outline of a blade began to materialize in front of her, flickering like a mirage. Luu Luu gasped, her excitement bubbling over. "It's working! I can see it!"
"Good! Keep going!" Aiden urged, his own excitement rising. "Add more details. Make it your own!"
Luu Luu poured her energy into the blade, infusing it with her spirit. The sword took on more solidity, its form sharpening and solidifying. With every heartbeat, the weapon grew brighter and more defined.
"I can feel it! It's almost there!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with triumph.
Then, with a burst of energy, the sword fully formed, glimmering brilliantly in the air before her. Luu Luu opened her eyes, staring at her creation in awe. "I did it! I actually did it!"
"Great job!" Aiden cheered, clapping his hands together. "That's a solid weapon! Now, remember to practice controlling your mana and refining your technique. It's just as important as the creation itself."
Luu Luu beamed with pride, holding her new sword high. "Thank you, Aiden! I couldn't have done it without your help!"
Tamamo watched the interaction with a smile. "You've come a long way, Luu Luu. Just be sure to practice. Mastering projection magic will enhance not just your weapons but your overall abilities."
Aiden nodded in agreement. "Exactly. Once you master this, the possibilities are endless. You can create armor, tools, even constructs if you push the limits of your imagination."
Luu Luu's eyes widened in excitement at the thought. "I can't wait to see what else I can make! I'll practice every day!"
"Just remember to take breaks and stay safe," Tamamo advised gently. "Pushing yourself too hard can lead to mistakes."
"Right! I'll keep that in mind!" Luu Luu replied, her enthusiasm palpable.
As they continued discussing the intricacies of projection magic, Aiden couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie forming among them. He knew they had challenges ahead, but with allies like Luu Luu and Tamamo by his side, he felt ready to face whatever obstacles came their way.
"Now, let's get back to the village and show everyone your new sword!" Aiden suggested, his own spirits lifted.
Luu Luu nodded eagerly, her eyes shining with anticipation. "Yes! They'll be so surprised! I can't wait!"
With that, they set off toward the village, ready to celebrate their victories and forge stronger bonds as a team. Aiden felt a sense of purpose blossoming within him; in this new world, they were more than just individuals—they were allies united against the challenges that lay ahead.
Later that day Luu Luu looked at Aiden plans. "So this what you have planned for your village"
Aiden looked at her. "Yup, that is my plan"
Tamamo then spoke. "Trust us the last thing we wants is another Toilet Explosion"
The princes Kinght just looked at Tamamo. "Maia told me about that"
Tamamo just looked at Luu Luu. "Oh she did"
Luu Luu just nodded her head. "Yeah, she did but didn't go to much detail".
Aiden chuckled, remembering the incident all too well. "Let's just say the toilet explosion was... memorable. We don't want a repeat of that anytime soon."
Luu Luu raised an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. "What happened exactly? I mean, how bad could it be?"
Tamamo crossed her arms, a smirk forming on her lips. "Imagine an alchemical experiment gone wrong, a combination of enchanted crystals, and a very unfortunate plumbing system. The results were... explosive, to say the least."
Aiden couldn't help but add, "And the mess! It took us days to clean up. The villagers were horrified, but at least it made for a great story."
Luu Luu laughed, shaking her head. "I wish I had been there to see it! That sounds hilarious!"
Tamamo shook her head, but there was a hint of amusement in her expression. "Hilarious for you, perhaps, but not for us. We had to deal with the aftermath, which was far from fun."
"Okay, okay, I get it," Luu Luu said, still chuckling. "So, what exactly are you planning for the village this time? I'm all ears."
Aiden gestured to his blueprints spread across the table. "Well, I'm planning to build a more efficient energy system using the crystals we've gathered from the dungeons. It'll power the village and reduce our reliance on traditional resources."
Luu Luu leaned in, examining the plans closely. "That sounds amazing! But how are you going to do that? Aren't the crystals unpredictable?"
"Exactly," Aiden replied, nodding. "That's why I want to set up a containment system. We'll use my slime abilities to create a stable core that can absorb and channel the energy safely. The key is to ensure everything is insulated properly so we don't have any mishaps."
Tamamo added, "And we'll need to incorporate some magical barriers to prevent any energy leaks. Safety first!"
Luu Luu nodded enthusiastically. "I like this plan! It sounds like it could really improve the village. What do you need from me?"
Aiden smiled, appreciating her eagerness. "Your experience as a warrior will be invaluable. We need to gather more materials from the surrounding areas and scout for potential threats while we're working on the project. Diablo's attack earlier showed us that we can't let our guard down."
"Count me in!" Luu Luu said, her eyes sparkling with determination. "I'll rally the knights and we can start gathering everything you need."
Tamamo added, "And I can help with the magical enhancements. With both our skills combined, we should be able to create something truly remarkable."
Aiden felt a swell of gratitude for his allies. "Thanks, you two. Together, we can make this village a safe and prosperous place."
As they discussed the finer details of their plans, Aiden couldn't help but feel hopeful. With Luu Luu's leadership and Tamamo's expertise, he knew they could accomplish great things. The earlier chaos felt like a distant memory, and the prospect of building something new excited him.
"Alright, let's get to work," Aiden said, a determined look in his eyes. "The future of our village depends on it!"
With that, the trio set out to execute their plan, ready to face whatever challenges awaited them. The village was their home, and they were determined to make it a place where everyone could thrive.
As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the village, Aiden, Luu Luu, and Tamamo were hard at work, gathering supplies and coordinating with the villagers. The atmosphere was bustling with energy as everyone prepared for the next phase of their development project.
Luu Luu stood at the center of the village square, overseeing the knights who had gathered to assist. "Alright, everyone! We need to be on our A-game for this. We're gathering materials and ensuring that nothing comes close to harming the village again! Understood?"
The knights responded with a collective cheer, their spirits high. Aiden couldn't help but admire Luu Luu's ability to rally them so effectively. Despite her youthful appearance and occasional brattiness, she had a natural leadership ability that commanded respect.
Aiden approached her, holding a map of the nearby dungeons. "We'll need to start with the area around here," he said, pointing to a dense forest marked with a few symbols. "There's a crystal cave that should give us enough material for the core. It's dangerous, though. The monsters there are drawn to the energy of the crystals."
Luu Luu grinned, her excitement bubbling up. "Dangerous, huh? Perfect. My knights and I can handle anything thrown at us. We'll clear the way, and you just focus on getting what you need."
Tamamo, who had been weaving a protective spell around the perimeter of the village, joined them. "Make sure you don't overdo it, Luu Luu. We still have to face Diablo again, and I'd rather not have you too tired to deal with him."
Luu Luu rolled her eyes playfully. "Relax, I've got this. I'll save enough energy to give him a good fight."
Aiden chuckled but felt a wave of nervousness at the thought of Diablo. Though Tamamo had mentioned him as a high spirit with connections to Lucifer, he hadn't yet seen the full extent of Diablo's power. Still, there was no time to waste worrying about what-ifs. They needed those crystals, and they needed them fast.
As night fell, the group set out, the knights flanking them as they moved toward the crystal cave. The dense forest around them was eerily quiet, with only the soft rustle of leaves and the occasional snap of a twig underfoot. The further they went, the more Aiden could sense the latent energy in the air—crystal magic, raw and untamed, flowing just beneath the surface of the earth.
When they reached the mouth of the cave, it shimmered with a soft blue light, illuminated by the crystals within. The knights fanned out, weapons at the ready, as Luu Luu took the lead.
Aiden stepped forward, his slime body morphing slightly as he prepared himself. "Alright, let's go in carefully. I don't know what kind of creatures are in there, but they'll be attracted to the crystals."
As they ventured deeper, the cave's walls glowed brighter, the crystals pulsating with magic. The air grew warmer, and Aiden's slime form began absorbing the ambient magic, feeding him with raw power. His body shimmered for a moment before stabilizing.
"That's... a lot of magic," Tamamo said, her voice hushed with awe. "These crystals are stronger than I thought."
Luu Luu was already inspecting the largest one nearby. "Yeah, they're perfect for enhancing weapons and armor. No wonder Diablo didn't want us here."
Suddenly, a loud rumble echoed through the cave, followed by the unmistakable sound of something large moving. The ground shook, and the crystals vibrated in response.
Aiden's body tensed. "Everyone, get ready. Something's coming."
From the shadows of the cave, a massive creature emerged, its body made entirely of crystal, with glowing eyes that locked onto the group. It roared, sending shockwaves through the air as it charged forward.
Luu Luu reacted immediately, drawing her sword and giving orders to her knights. "Defensive positions! Protect Aiden and Tamamo while they gather what they need!"
Aiden, despite the danger, moved swiftly toward the largest crystal formation. He placed his hands on it, allowing his body to absorb the magic as Great Sage analyzed the structure. "Just a bit longer," he muttered, focusing on channeling the energy.
Tamamo stood beside him, casting barriers to protect them from the creature's attacks. "We don't have much time. That thing is getting stronger the longer we stay here."
The crystal creature slammed into the knights' defensive line, sending several of them flying. Luu Luu gritted her teeth as she blocked a strike from its massive arm, the impact sending a shockwave through the cave. "Aiden, hurry up! We can't hold this thing forever!"
With one final surge, Aiden finished absorbing the magic and quickly retracted his hands. "Got it! Let's get out of here!"
Tamamo grabbed his arm and began running toward the cave entrance, with Luu Luu and the remaining knights close behind. The crystal creature roared in frustration, sending another blast of magic after them, but Tamamo's barriers held just long enough for them to escape.
Once they were outside the cave, Aiden collapsed to the ground, exhausted but triumphant. "That... was close."
Luu Luu laughed, her face flushed with excitement. "You weren't kidding about those crystals being dangerous. But now we've got what we need, right?"
Aiden nodded, still catching his breath. "Yeah, we've got enough. Now we can start building the core."
Tamamo smiled, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "Looks like we're one step closer to making the village stronger. Good work, everyone."
Luu Luu patted Aiden on the back. "Hey, next time, let's make sure Diablo doesn't come after us again, alright?"
Aiden chuckled, feeling a mixture of relief and anticipation. "I'll do my best. But something tells me this is only the beginning."
Later that night, Aiden was on Radomira lap, as he looked up at her
Radomira looked down on him. "Is there something"
Aiden looked at him. "Yeah, I was thinking I notice that everyone take on word's on granted no proof need... It is a good thing but how does it happens, Fenrir and his pack I thought I got lucky, King was different and Luu Luu she today made question why everyone just listen to and then I made Diablo just agreed with me"
Radomira just looked at him. "Maybe it because of one of your skills"
Aiden though for a bit before he asked great sage. "Um great sage"
Great Sage then spoke back. "It is because of the skill, Mind set transfer"
Aiden blinked in surprise, looking up at Radomira as Great Sage's words sank in. "Mind Set Transfer...?" he repeated, still processing the information.
Radomira tilted her head slightly, a curious look in her eyes. "What does that mean exactly?"
Aiden sat up from her lap, trying to figure it out. "So, if I understand it correctly, this skill somehow allows me to transfer my thoughts or mindset to others... But I don't remember ever learning it or activating it."
Great Sage responded, its calm voice resonating in Aiden's mind. "Mind Set Transfer is a passive skill that influences the perception and thoughts of those around you. The skill subconsciously aligns their mindset with your own, leading to higher cooperation and acceptance of your words and ideas."
Aiden's eyes widened in realization. "So... that's why people just listen to me without questioning? Fenrir, King, and even Diablo... They all just accepted what I said because of this skill?"
Radomira chuckled softly, placing a hand on his shoulder. "It seems your power goes beyond just your strength, Aiden. Your words have a certain... weight to them, even if you don't realize it."
Aiden leaned back, trying to absorb this new revelation. "I didn't even know I had that kind of ability. No wonder everything's been going smoother than I expected. It's like everyone's just... following along with whatever I say."
Radomira smiled down at him, her eyes warm. "Well, it makes sense now, doesn't it? But that also means you need to be careful with what you say. People might take your words too literally, even if you don't intend for them to."
Aiden nodded, feeling the weight of responsibility settle on his shoulders. "Yeah... I need to be more mindful. I don't want to accidentally lead people down the wrong path just because of this skill."
Radomira gently stroked his hair. "That's a good mindset to have. But don't worry too much. You're a good person, Aiden. I believe that, even with this power, you'll do the right thing."
Aiden closed his eyes, enjoying the comforting feeling of her touch as he thought about everything that had happened. He was beginning to understand that his journey in this world was more complex than he initially thought. It wasn't just about surviving or growing stronger—it was about learning how to control his own influence and ensuring that he didn't misuse the trust people were placing in him.
"Thanks, Radomira," he said softly, feeling a sense of calm wash over him. "I'll do my best to keep that in mind."
Radomira smiled down at him, her hand still resting on his head. "Good. Now, get some rest. Tomorrow's going to be another long day."
Aiden nodded, settling back down on her lap as his thoughts drifted, still processing everything he had learned. He knew there would be challenges ahead, but with allies like Radomira by his side, he felt a little more confident about facing them.
