I am Thor

Chapter 207: Chapter 207: You Have The Hulk, I Have The Hood

"I feel like you're just ordering me around under the guise of 'training my psychokinesis,'" Jean Grey muttered, sweat dripping down her brow. She strained to manipulate an entire set of cleaning tools, directing them to scrub Thor's villa.

Thor leaned casually against the doorframe, watching with a bemused expression. "Of course not. I'm merely assessing your abilities. You have an immense power within you, one that could erupt at any time. It's crucial you learn to control it."

Jean paused, her frustration momentarily replaced by unease. "And if I can't control it… can you stop it?"

Thor's expression turned serious. "No one can stop the Phoenix Force. It's one of the most powerful forces in the universe, born at the beginning of everything. It's chaos incarnate—immortal, eternal, and unpredictable. The only thing you can do is master yourself and resist its influence."

Jean's face fell, and she looked away, her hands trembling slightly. Thor softened his tone. "We'll figure this out. In a few days, I'll take you to Asgard. My mother, Frigga, is the wisest woman I know. If anyone can help you, it's her."

Jean nodded silently, though her uncertainty lingered. Thor, meanwhile, reflected on his own growing doubts. He had ventured far beyond the Nine Realms, making no effort to hide his movements, and yet Thanos had made no move against him. The Mad Titan's patience unnerved him. Why hasn't he struck yet? What's he waiting for?

Thor shuddered at the thought. If Thanos was biding his time, it could only mean he believed the endgame was already in his grasp.

Jean's voice broke through his musings. "What are you thinking about?"

Thor hesitated, then shrugged. "Earth."

He knew Wakanda's troubles weren't his immediate concern, but they gnawed at him. Stronger allies would be invaluable against Thanos, yet Wakanda, embroiled in civil strife, might be lost before he could reach them.

In Wakanda, Erik Stevens stood at the helm, surveying the preparations for his plan. Sleek fighter planes, armed with Vibranium weaponry, lined the palace's launch bay. W'Kabi approached him with a report. "Everything is ready. The sleeper agents have been notified. There's some resistance, but most are ready to move. We've confirmed operatives in London, New York, and Hong Kong."

"Good." Erik's voice was cold. "Once the strike begins, more will join us. It's time to let the world feel the wrath of Wakanda."

As the first plane took off, a distant explosion rocked the horizon. Erik turned to see T'Challa emerge from the smoke, clad once again in the Black Panther suit.

"Erik!" T'Challa's voice thundered. "This isn't over!"

Erik smirked. "The duel is over, T'Challa. I am king now. And I don't have time to waste on you."

With a wave of his hand, he gave the order. "Activate the shield. All planes, launch!"

The shimmering dome of Wakanda's protective shield snapped into place just as the remaining planes ascended into the sky. T'Challa sprinted forward, but the barrier stopped him cold. He slammed his fists against it in frustration.

Hulk let out an enraged roar and charged the shield. His massive fist collided with the barrier, sending shockwaves rippling outward. But the force was too much even for him—he was thrown back hundreds of meters, landing with a resounding crash.

T'Challa's heart sank. Wakanda's shield was one of the most advanced defenses in the world. Without a coordinated assault, breaching it was nearly impossible. The planes were already scattering in every direction, carrying Vibranium weapons to ignite rebellions across the globe.

"You've lost, T'Challa!" Erik shouted. "You think the Hulk can save you? He can't stop an entire fleet."

T'Challa, Hulk, and Shuri fought valiantly to block the planes, but the shield prevented them from covering every direction. Fighter after fighter slipped through the cracks, their engines roaring as they sped toward their targets.

T'Challa's composure finally broke. "You're dooming Wakanda, Erik! You'll bring nothing but chaos and destruction!"

Erik sneered from atop the palace steps. "That's the point, cousin. Chaos is the only way to reset the scales."

As the last plane vanished over the horizon, T'Challa clenched his fists. The black storm Erik had unleashed was no longer a threat—it was a reality. And it was only the beginning.
