I am Thor

Chapter 158: Chapter 158: Vision Has a Little Green on His Head

"Wait a minute," Star-Lord interrupted. "What kind of weapon are we talking about here?"

"A battle axe," Thor replied, a hint of pride in his voice. "The kind that can kill Thanos."

"But if it's so powerful, shouldn't we make more of them?" Quill asked eagerly.

Groot immediately covered his face with a mass of branches and leaves, while Rocket sprayed a stream of spit into Quill's face. "Are you nuts, Quill? You want Groot to turn into a hormone junkie just so you can mass-produce an axe?"

Thor chuckled. "Even if we could, you wouldn't be able to handle it. The power of Stormbreaker would shatter you in an instant. Only a few are strong enough to wield it without losing their sanity."

"Is it really that dangerous?" Drax murmured, feeling his dreams of revenge slipping away.

"Power always comes at a price," Thor replied. "The Power Stone is a symbol of ultimate strength, but none of you would survive using it for long."

"But I could!" Drax protested.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, Tony and Banner were facing a final hurdle in their experiment—their energy supply. As they prepared to power Vision's creation, they hit a roadblock.

"Not enough voltage," Tony muttered in frustration.

Steve had an idea. "Can't you just boost the current? Crank it up like they did with me in the lab?"

Tony gave him a look. "Sure, if you want the entire city to go dark. Stark Industries would go bankrupt from the backlash."

Carol tapped her chin thoughtfully. "If only Thor were here. That guy's like a walking power bank…"

Jane bristled. "Hey! I can generate electricity too, you know. Would ten thousand volts do the trick?"

Bruce's eyes lit up. "Perfect! The more power, the better!"

And so, they proceeded. The Avengers stood around the lab in full combat mode, just in case. Tony suited up in his Iron Man armor, Cap raised his shield, Hawkeye had his bow drawn, Black Widow's gun was at the ready, and even Bruce was half-Hulked out.

Jane unleashed a bolt of electricity, and the lab exploded with power, sending debris flying. Through the smoke, a voice echoed:

"Ladies and gentlemen, if you intended to destroy me, why did you go to such lengths to create me?"

Tony's eyes widened in disbelief. "J.A.R.V.I.S.?"

The figure shook his head slowly. "I am both and neither. I lack J.A.R.V.I.S's loyalty and Ultron's anger. So, if you would kindly lower your weapons…"

Everyone relaxed slightly as the figure continued, "I would like to be known as… Vision."

The red-skinned figure stood up, looking around the room. Seeming dissatisfied with his current appearance, he transformed: his skin shifted to a more muted shade, and a long, majestic cloak extended from his shoulders. Yet, despite the transformation, a small green patch remained above the Mind Stone on his forehead.

Seeing the emerald green spot, the Avengers glanced teasingly at Carol.

"Hello, Vision," Steve greeted him. "What I need to know is—whose side are you on?"

Vision fiddled with the green spot for a moment, frowning when he realized it wouldn't disappear. He turned to Steve and answered, "I believe I stand on the side of… life."

The Avengers exchanged relieved glances.

Tony stepped forward. "Do you have any idea what Ultron's planning? He must have left traces of his intentions in you."

Vision nodded somberly. "I didn't want to kill Ultron; I can feel his pain. But he wants to channel that pain into harming others. To protect life, we must destroy him and erase any weapons he's created."

"Do you know where he is?" Natasha asked.

Vision's eyes darkened. "Sokovia. He's planning to turn the entire city into a meteor. By stealing anti-gravity engines, he intends to lift Sokovia high into the atmosphere and drop it, replicating the impact that wiped out the dinosaurs. His goal is nothing short of extinction."

The Avengers gasped in horror, turning to glare at Tony.

"It's all your fault!" their expressions seemed to say.

Tony went pale, knowing he'd stirred up more than he'd ever intended. He remained silent, knowing he'd best keep his head down this time if he wanted to avoid a serious thrashing from his teammates.
