I Am Hades, Lord of the Underworld!

Chapter 276: Chapter 276: The Earth’s Center and the Temple of Earth! The Three God-Kings Reunite After Six Million Years!

At the center of the Earth's surface world stands the Temple of Earth.

This temple has existed since the birth of the Mythical World, with one purpose: to worship the Goddess of Earth, the Creator God. Neither Uranus nor Cronus ever dared to move this temple. This time, the Conference of the God-Kings was held in the Temple of Earth, which seemed to indicate a particular attitude.

This choice also signified a kind of reconciliation between the three God-Kings and the Goddess of Earth. Regardless of anything else, the Goddess of Earth had always favored and invested more in her children. Now that her grandchildren had overthrown her sons, it was necessary to show some consideration. Otherwise, the Goddess of Earth might be very displeased, which could lead to significant problems.

After all, she is the Goddess of Earth. If something goes wrong, who knows what the outcome might be? It's impossible to predict the consequences, and things could go terribly wrong.

In any case, it's best to avoid conflict with the Goddess of Earth if it's not necessary. This was a consensus among Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus. Some conflicts are simply not worth the trouble, as they bring no benefits but rather huge problems, which is entirely meaningless.

Hades's chariot sped through the sky.

As Hades's chariot appeared, it seemed to confirm something. The gods who saw it understood that a new era was truly about to begin.

After the Titanomachy ended, although a new era had already begun, the three God-Kings had made no significant moves. Apart from Hades establishing the Underworld Palace, Poseidon and Zeus also followed suit by creating the Sea King Palace and the Heavenly Emperor Palace.

But beyond that?

In fact, if you think about it, the three God-Kings had made no other moves at all, as if they didn't care about these matters. But the more they appeared indifferent, the more it made others wary.

The gods were well aware that this was impossible.

And now, with the start of the Conference of the God-Kings, the gods knew that after the calm following the end of the Titan era, a truly new era was about to begin. This was an extremely important matter.

In this new era, what will happen? This was undoubtedly something everyone was curious about. Many things would happen, and it was unclear how events would unfold.

In summary, the upcoming era would be different. The many gods who survived the Titan era also needed to consider their future.

After all, as the new era begins, what will their role be? What will become of them? These are crucial questions that require careful thought. It's not just about what you want; nothing is that easy.

If something goes wrong, who knows what might happen?

Hades, however, didn't care about any of this.

Or rather, Hades simply wasn't interested. The Underworld had its unique development path, and Hades wasn't interested in outside affairs.

As for the subordinate gods?

The Underworld's subordinate gods are divided into three categories. The first is the lineage of Erebus and Nyx, the primordial couple whose descendants form the core of the Underworld's subordinate gods, practically its pillars. The second category is Mephistopheles, who stands alone as a unique type. The third category comprises the seventy-two pillar demons, led by Baal and the other three supreme pillars. Though they don't stand out much in the Underworld, they are its foundation, supported by the World Tree, and their progress is evident.

And beyond that?

The lower-level gods of the Underworld rely more on Sparta, the nation of death and war it has built. In the future, this will continually provide a large number of subordinate gods. Humans who endure the trials of blood, sweat, and hardship will rise to become the lowest level of subordinate gods.

To put it bluntly, Hades had no interest in those outside. What's the point of them?

The Underworld had far too many important matters to deal with. Although busy, they had no reason to concern themselves with the ordinary gods.

It's meaningless!

As the gods pondered, Hades's chariot arrived at the Temple of Earth.

As the chariot slowly came to a halt, Hades, accompanied by Hestia and the Twin Gods, stepped out.

"Lord Hades!"

The moment Prometheus saw Hades, a flash of shock passed through his eyes. He quickly composed himself and respectfully said, "Lord Zeus is already waiting for your arrival!"

Hades silently nodded, understanding from Prometheus's words that Poseidon had not yet arrived.

Meanwhile, Hypnos and Thanatos sensed Prometheus's shock but remained calm, standing tall with an air of natural confidence.

What a joke.

Look!

Look at our Lord Hades! Look at our King of the Underworld! And you? What are you compared to him? Nothing! Dismissed!

For Hypnos and Thanatos, it was an immense honor to serve such a powerful king. As subjects of a strong ruler, they were naturally proud.

Subjects of a strong nation always stand tall.

Subjects of a weak nation can only bow and scrape.

This is an unchanging truth.

Hades paid no attention to these matters, and the Twin Gods didn't show it either, as that would be too embarrassing. The four gods entered the Temple of Earth.

At this moment, the statue of the Goddess of Earth stood majestically in the center of the temple. Below it were three thrones, with Zeus seated on one.

Behind Zeus stood Hera and Demeter.

Metis was not present. Seeing this, Hades pondered something.

At the same time, Hades sensed something unusual. Hera was already pregnant, and it was clear she was close to giving birth. But hadn't Demeter conceived yet? Was the timing off?

Hades didn't dwell on this, maintaining his composure. Perhaps it was just a small difference, which didn't matter.

At that moment, as Prometheus announced, Poseidon arrived as well.

After six million years, the three God-Kings were finally reunited.
