-----------------------
The entrance of Konoha village was crowded with ninjas. And there is no ordinary villager in sight. The place was packed, and some ninja were even standing on the roofs and trees.
This was a much bigger force than the last time, with almost two thousand ninjas.
They included the Uchiha clan, the Ino-Shika-Cho trio, and Tsunade’s medical squad, as well as hundreds of civilan ninjas.
Tsunade stood with Shizune, leaning against a big tree with her eyes closed, her arms folded, and resting.
“Where is Lord Fugaku? He’s taking too long.” Shikaku asked in worry. He was accompanied by Chōza Akimichi and Inoichi Yamanaka.
Ninjas were always on time when they went on missions. Obito was an exception, and Kakashi only followed his example, but they had been waiting for almost an hour.
"What's wrong with the clan head?"
"I don't know; Akihiko went looking for him."
"Why do I feel that the clan head is not punctual at all now?"
"Sigh~~ It seems to be true. He was late last time too."
Some Uchiha clansmen whispered to each other.
"Hey, what's wrong with your clan head? How can he be late like this?"
“Hmph, he’s making a mockery of us. I hate their haughty attitude. I don’t understand why Hokage-sama wants us to work with them.”
"You can't say that. I think they have changed a lot in the past two months."
"It’s all for show. They still think we are beneath them in their hearts."
Many of the civilian ninjas were gossiping with each other, but some of the Uchiha clansmen glared at them and looked like they wanted to teach them a lesson.
Uchiha Seiki stopped them: “Hey, guys, calm down. The clan head has ordered us to ignore them.”
“Hmph, I don’t understand why the clan head would issue such an order.”
Akemi’s brother, Akira, complied. Some of them grumbled and snorted, but they still backed off.
He had just returned from a mission and heard from other clan members that the clan head had fought against five hundred clan members.
He was skeptical about it. How could that be possible? These were five hundred elite Uchiha clansmen!
“Are you going against the clan head’s command, Akira-senpai?” Seiki asked with annoyance.
Akira scoffed: “I wouldn’t do that, but I have no respect for these weaklings…”
As soon as he said this, his words were loud and clear. Not only did he want to obey the order, but he also offended everyone else.
"Damn it...."
"You bastard, what did you say?"
"Who are you calling trash?"
"I'm calling you.....huh, do you think I want to go on war with you? A bunch of idiots, who don't know their place." Akira's saying it in contempt.
He felt stronger than the others. He had just returned from a mission, and his eyes had changed from two tomoe to three tomoe.
"Damn, you’re really full of yourself."
"So what can you do about that?"
Akira ignited the tension, and more ninjas on both sides also joined the fray. They soon started a quarrel, though some tried to stop them.
But based on the number and strength of the ninja, it was evident that the Uchiha clan members had the upper hand.
Nara Shikaku felt a headache as he watched from the side. These damn Uchiha members were so difficult to handle.
He couldn't even have a say in this situation. The reason was simple. The Uchiha were arrogant. They didn't even show any respect to the Hyuga clan, so how could they care about him, who is from the Nara clan?
Inoichi Yamanaka was the first one to notice him and let out a sigh: “Phew, he’s finally here. He will deal with them.
As soon as he finished speaking, a loud voice was heard by everyone.
“I heard noises from far away. What are you’re fighting about?” Fugaku asked while yawning. He looked like he didn’t sleep last night, as he was followed by Akihiko.
They paused when they heard his voice, but they still showed their displeasure.
Why did he come so late? They were almost about to brawl. Fugaku understood that too.
He knew he had to settle this dispute, or he wouldn’t be able to lead them. Tsunade opened her eyes when she heard him. She wondered how he would handle it.
He stares at everyone, then asks, “Shikaku-sama, what’s going on?”
-------------------
Shikaku gave a fair and impartial account of what had happened.
“Uchiha Akira?” Fugaku slowly walked up to Akira, and his expression was inscrutable.
“Yes, clan head.” Akira put on a serious face and stood respectfully.
He was not happy with the clan head, but he still had to show some basic courtesy.
Fugaku said, “Forget it. step forward, those who were arguing.”
Akira smirked and stepped out with his friends. There were about seven or eight of them.
The civilian ninjas were afraid when they heard him. He would surely favor his own clansmen.
They had forgotten that Uchiha Fugaku was not only the clan head of the Uchiha but also the war commander in front of the Wind Country.
................
They were afraid of offending him, thinking he might make things difficult for them on this sand village front.
It means that they might be sent on a high mortality rate mission or assassinated.
Ino-Shika-Cho and Tsunade frowned when they saw this scene.
"Hmph, offending Uchiha? Step forward, Yamada.”
Uchiha Akira saw that they were hesitating and singled out one of them.
The civilian ninja named Yamada looked nervous, but he didn’t disobey his order. He joined a few civilian ninjas and stepped forward, but there were six of them.
" Fugaku-sama......"
Yamada wanted to apologize. Otherwise, if he really gave them a difficult mission, they would really be dead.
But before he finished speaking, he was stopped by Fugaku's gesture.
"You were a few people who wasted everyone's time. I'll settle this account with you later. Now hurry up and apologize to them. We'll leave right away."
He said it impatiently, looked at Akira's group, and pointed at Yamada's group.
What's going on? Everyone was surprised at the clan head's actions.
This means he wants Akira's group to apologize to Yamada's group.
Akira was also shocked by what he heard. His clan head didn’t want to stand up for them.
"Can't you understand? Hurry up, don't waste time."
