Chapter 1: 001 I Reincarnated!
Ugh! Where am I? Why is everything so dark? Did I die? Many questions filled my mind as I tried to look around.
Haaah! Who would have thought that storm would turn around? It's like it had a life of its own!
My name is or was… Ethan. I was an orphan in my last life; my parents died when I was young.
And it's not like I lived a bad life either. They left me a lot of money, and with that, I lived my life full of adventures.
I trekked the tallest mountains, lived in the forests, and travelled the world.
But I had one last wish, one last wish, and I would clear my bucket list—sailing around the world.
I bought a sailboat and set sail from the land. It went pretty well until a storm hit me.
Of course, I detected it on my radar and even changed course. But that bloody thing, as if alive, followed me.
No matter how many times I changed my course, it followed me.
I even called the emergency services, but I was too far out to sea; before the emergency services or the coastguard could reach me, the storm got me.
Haah! Anyway, it's all in the past now; I have to figure out where I am!
"*#@!%"
But just as I was trying to figure out where I was and what had happened to me, I heard a beautiful voice.
It was definitely female, like a dreamy melody played by the most talented. I could feel the love laced in its voice.
"%@#&*^" The voice sounded again; I couldn't understand what it was saying, nor where the sound was coming from.
A few minutes went by, and the voice was talking more and more.
"%@#*¤☆♡◇¿#%@^"
BHAM
Suddenly, the darkness around me was illuminated, but it wasn't clear. It felt like a thick membrane of something was between me and the light.
Like, how when you close your eyes in front of a torch, even if your eyelids are closed, you can see some light.
…wait, what if my eyes are closed too?
Hnggghhh!!
I desperately tried to open my eyes even though I couldn't even tell if I had any. And soon enough, everything around me was bright.
Ahh! Too bright! Too fucking bright!!
I immediately closed my eyes; I should have opened them slowly.
Huuuu, I took a deep breath and slowly opened them again, only to get the shock of my life.
In front of me is a beautiful woman. No, even calling her beautiful doesn't do the job; she was like a goddess.
She had long black hair and bright purple eyes that shone like gems. Her voluptuous body was hugged loosely by a black nightgown.
She looked at me with love and affection while she caressed my cheek with her hands, "@#%&!"
Ah! Looks like I have been reincarnated.
…..
"Congratulations, dear."
"Congratulations, madam."
A woman and a maid congratulated Evianne as she held her baby.
But Evianne ignored them for the moment and focused on her son. He had the same features as her and looked very cute.
"He looks so much like me…" she mumbled, causing the maid and the woman to smile.
"Yes, he does," answered the woman; she had red hair and eyes, and she wore battle armour, looking like a knight.
"Have you thought of a name?" the woman asked, curiously.
Evianne nodded her head in reply; she leaned forward and kissed her son on his forehead and said, "Evan, Evan Asmodeus Luxuria! The prince of demons!"
Evianne had a proud smile on her face; she liked the name she had given her son while the woman's and the maid's lips twitched.
"D-Dear, are you sure you want to name him Evan? I mean, it's too similar to your name, don't you think so?" The woman commented.
"Hmph, what's wrong with my baby having that name? He came from me, so he can have a name derived from mine as well." Evianne defended her decisions.
'Just accept that you suck at giving names!' the woman exclaimed inwardly but didn't dare voice it out loud.
The woman and the maid stayed with Evianne for a while before they left the room.
"My precious," Evianne muttered as she looked at her sleeping son, "Mama will always be with you and never let you go!"
