Chapter 5: Ch-5: The Plan Unfolds
Ch-5: The Plan Unfolds
Main Character POV:
Today I am going to meet the first heroine. I have forced her to marry me, using her for my goals. If I can love her, I can also destroy her. Today, I am going to show her how it feels to be betrayed by someone she loves, how it feels to be reduced to a mere pawn, licking the wounds of lost dignity. My car comes to a halt in front of Tang Corporation, where this all began, and I prepare myself to win this time.
Yin Ran Tang POV:
Today, my dad will talk to my soon-to-be mother-in-law about our marriage. I don't love him, but I hear a voice in my mind—Raghav Ye King's voice—telling me that I can't escape my fate. I find myself in my office, consumed with confusion. What does he mean by destroying me and my family? Why should I do that? I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
A while later, I am with my mom, who loves me dearly. She wants me to break this marriage, so I plan to tell her that I will marry Raghav and that his family will be pleased to hear this.
In the Office:
We sit face to face. I see Raghav with a look of hatred and confusion, while his cold, disgusted gaze makes my heart race with an inexplicable fear. My mom speaks to my dad with an icy tone, "You know why I am here."
My dad replies, "Yes, I know, and I agree to all the debts under our family name."
I'm taken aback. "Dad, what debts? I don't remember us owing any money."
Raghav interjects, "You don't know what money your family owes? Then don't pretend you don't know that your dad sold you to us to pay off the debt of 100 trillion dollars. Now it's all settled, and I'm breaking this engagement with you. Who would want to marry a slave?"
My mom and dad are stunned into silence. Raghav continues, "It's been ten years since I last saw them. I just found out recently."
When my mom hears this, her eyes light up with joy. My heart sinks as I realize the depth of my father's betrayal. I turn to Raghav, still in shock. "Then why do you love me? Why follow me?"
"I never loved you," he replies coldly. "I just wanted to know about you—about the girl who hadn't slept with anyone."
Suddenly, a voice shouts from outside the door, "Miss Yin Ren Tang, don't marry that bastard! He's not good for you!"
It's Lin Yang, a boy I know. The guards try to stop him, but he punches his way inside, trembling under Raghav's cold gaze.
I can't believe what's happening.
