HP: Is It Wrong To Be A Sociopath In Magic World?

Chapter 7: Chapter 6: Orphan!

Still, plot and stuff which is probably important, so I just nodded as well as Harry as Ron dropped down next to me, to my right with my trunk in between the two of us which I'm completely fine with.

No accidental contact that way. And that's when the door opened again for a third time.

"Hey Ron, listen. We're going back to the end of the train, Lee Jordan has a giant tarantula down there." I just pretended to not hear the part of the tarantula, mildly emotionally stunted or not, arachnophobia isn't something to mess with.

Of course I can ignore it decently well, but the things still make me unnerved as hell and it put an unpleasant image in my head that made me open my eyes so I could look at something else.

Still, that's when the two twins turned to Harry and I think the fact that I overheard it was just a bonus for them as they said.

"Alright!"

"Hey, did we introduce ourselves? We're Fred and George Weasley, that's Ron our brother, cya later."

"Bye!" Great conversation, I think I still was a no go for the twins as they didn't even bother to look in my direction before leaving down to train to see that terrifying abomination that they were talking about.

As that was happening though, silence seemed to have taken a hold of everyone here, which was fine by me, as I'm not exactly a social being.

Unfortunately Ron seemed to decide that this was the time to prove me wrong.

"Uh. Hey, are you really Harry Potter."

Damn, I wish I had that level of tact when it comes to talking, he's a master at this.

Sarcasm aside, Harry seemed to get a bit of a blush before nodding and after a bit of talking between the two ended up with Harry showing off his deformed forehead.

I mostly just let them have at it but after a while it seemed that whatever subject they were talking about needed my input as Harry turned to me and asked.

"Hey Alex, are you parents magical as well?" I blinked my eyes open again as I had been trying to get some sleep before looking over at him and thought about how to respond.

It's not like I particularly care about my heritage in this world or my life growing up, though I don't actually have any memories of the latter.

"No idea, I'm an orphan so maybe, but until I know the difference I'm a muggleborn." The mood seemed to have taken a hit as I closed my eyes again as they were still quite heavy at the moment.

Still after a moment the kids moved on without much problem talking about whatever seemed to catch their attention.

Every now and again I would join into the conversation that the two had, most of it wasn't about anything particular but it did fill the air so that's something.

I think I've also somehow become friends in the eyes of the two kids. I was mostly using them to learn more about the world around me that I might have forgotten, though I'll admit some times I would talk for a bit longer than was probably necessary.

"Anything off the trolley dears?"

Looking over towards the cart filled with different types of candies, I noted the fact that I should count the coins in that bag in my trunk, but didn't get up.

Though I did note that Ron looked incredibly embarrassed while pulling out a bag with sandwiches in it.

That's when Harry stood up and looked down like he was looking at his pockets. Which might be what he was trying to do, he had a lot of money now that he didn't have before.

"I'll that five of each." I actually cringed as I thought about how much sugar that was, I'm not someone with a sweet tooth.

I like sour things more actually but that doesn't change the point that as I watched as he dropped the dozens of pieces of candies on the seat to his left, I actually think I felt my teeth ache a little.

While I was looking at it Ron made a trade with Harry for a part of his sandwich for some of the pile of candy. Well I thought that was what was happening before he turned to me and said.

"You too Alex, take what you want." I noted that Harry gave me a smile of someone who was enjoying having something to give, it was kind of sad.

Well really sad, but kind of was about as much as I could muster at the moment so that's the thought that I use.

Still, I just looked at the candies before sorting them out mentally, and decided why not. I have no idea the last time this body actually ate something so it couldn't hurt, as long as I don't eat too much.

And by that I mean more than maybe three things, then I'll be fine, though that was before I noted that the sandwiches were just laying there.

One ask, and I now had something that wouldn't make me sick from overeating. They weren't bad, a little dry but I've had much worse so it evened out.

While we all were eating, Harry pulled out a card from a chocolate frog which just sounded unpleasant to eat.

It had some basic information on Dumbledore on it, and also set up Nicholas Flamel as a plot device for later.

After some more time the every flavored bean came out, and I somehow got pressured into eating one, but it was actually luckily enough just tasted like a normal jelly bean, though it was very underwhelming.

After a couple moments of thinking about random comparisons between magic and lack of magic, the door slid open once more, looking over, I noted that the newest interruption was another kid, out of breath and kind of fat.
