“I don’t think it’s possible to put up the wallpaper, it’s too bulky.”

Hee-Na chose to cover the colorful wallpaper with paint because it seemed easier.

Once she made the decision, she picked out the right paint color and started painting the next day. It was better for her mental health to get the job done as soon as possible.

When Hee-Na is determined to do something, she’s a fast and reliable worker.

She used the Home Sweet Home skill to move around, so it was less of a hassle.

All she had to do was think of a suitable place and go there. It was more comfortable than a car.

With quick decisions and less traveling time, the ingredients were gathered quickly.

She left the door to the dungeon open and started painting.

The screeching of monsters outside was loud, but once she got used to it, it sounded like a dog barking.

First, I ripped off the unnecessary embossed point wallpaper and threw it away.

I masked off all the places where paint might get on the walls with masking tape, then scrubbed the walls with a roller.

With the 50% buff to her Lush Fingertips skill and the 50% buff to her outfit, the roller moved to the point where she wasn’t applying the paint, but the paint was applying itself.

“Hmmm, hmmm, hmmm~.”

Hee-na put on her favorite song and rolled the roller to the swaying beat.

She wiggled her antennae in an S-shape to see if she could get excited.

Self-painting was at least less laborious than cleaning the studio. Both physically and in terms of time.

I was worried that it would take a long time since it was my first time, but it took less than a day, including time for drying and touch-ups.

I even had a meal in between and did a little online shopping.

‘It’s inconvenient that I can’t get the package immediately.

Hee-na’s mouth watered. Everything is good in this house, but I was disappointed with the delivery service.

But if you don’t have teeth, you can chew with your gums, and you can send the package to an unattended delivery box.

Since I entered this house naked because of the dungeon gate, many household items were lacking.

Moreover, even though I earned it with skills, I felt a little more attached to it and wanted to decorate it.

I even hummed happily at the thought. The days of living under the watchful eye of the landlord flashed before my eyes.

Hee-Na clapped her palms together as she finished the last coat of paint on the wall.

One of the four sides of the room was painted a mustardy forsythia color, while the others were painted with ivory-white paint.

“It’s bright and pretty.”

Yellow was Hee-Na’s favorite color. It’s a color that’s warm, gentle, and cheerful at the same time. It seemed like a color that would melt away her tired heart.

She briefly considered green instead but quickly dismissed the idea.

It brought back memories of the jungle dungeon, where everything was green, and I felt bad.

Hee-Na had lost one of her favorite colors.

The smell of the paint wore off relatively quickly, even though it was eco-friendly.

As she cleaned up, removing the masking tape to keep the paint from smearing, the system window glowed.

It was a notification that the level of the studio had increased.

It went up two levels in a row, and before I knew it, Hee-Na’s “old, basic room” was level 7.

One after another, additional effects appeared. A message popped up on the wall, absorbing starlight.

“Wah…….”

Hee-na looked around the room. It had a different atmosphere than when she had finished painting it earlier.

It seemed softer and cozier. It was like stepping into a quilt that had been dried in the sun. It was crisp and warm.

“Decorating your home has this added effect.”

Decorating the house wasn’t just aesthetically pleasing. It was also psychologically beneficial.

‘I’ve been living so poorly that I didn’t know how to feel this way, and I’ve been saving just enough to get by…….’

Hee-na thought it was pretty cool to decorate her house like this, even if it wasn’t necessarily for quests or leveling up.

She felt like she had her own space where she could relax, apart from her skills.

After admiring her new home for a while, she opened the quest window.

I had two required quests completed, and one side quest had appeared and was checked off as completed.

The side effect that popped up earlier must have been for completing this quest.

Hee-Na felt good as if she had been praised for choosing the right paint color.

I don’t know who or what the system is, but aesthetically, it seemed to match her very well.

“The system knows what it’s doing. Isn’t that right, Oh Sack?”

“What?”

I stuttered, and the little snail raised a question mark as if to say what I meant.

As soon as I closed the quest window, the system told me that I had leveled up and that I should draw two rewards. The rewards were still randomized.

“Please let me get a high rank!”

Hee-Na clasped her hands together and shouted yes.

From the last few random draws, she knew how exhilarating it would be. Adrenaline surged through her calm mind.

“Big win, big win, a shot of a lifetime!”

Oh, Sae-yi cheered from the sidelines.

“……Oh!”

Hee-na clapped her hands at the reward in front of her.

She pulled out a B-rated washing machine, albeit with a D-rated bathing shoe stuck in it.

“Aha, money saved!”

Washing machines cost hundreds of thousands of won, no matter how cheap the model. It was also too heavy for Hee-na to move and set up by herself.

She was wondering if she would have to do her laundry by hand or live in a laundromat, but this was a good thing.

Plus, it’s a sterilized washing machine that doesn’t freeze.

For Hee-na, who had already thawed a frozen washing machine water pipe on a cold winter day, this was a very satisfying feature.

Hee-na thought about everything that had happened.

“Maybe this house’s connection to the dungeon will come in handy later.”

She had no idea what to do with it now, but maybe one day it would come back to her with great luck.

It was a comforting thought.

Hee-Na lay down on the floor and stretched out.

“Oh, no, the courier will be here tomorrow to deliver the bars for the sink, so let’s take it easy today!”

Oh Sacky, who had climbed onto Hee-na’s stomach, nodded his head in agreement.

“Good night.”
