After receiving the information from Xia Chen, Kiana departed.

Her skepticism towards Xia Chen was understandable; there were simply too many unknowns for Kiana in this world. Thus, her doubts were entirely justified.

Xia Chen's eyes narrowed slightly as he sent a message to Amber:

"Members of an organization called World Serpent have appeared on Coral Island, attempting to approach team member Kiana Kaslana. Information about this group remains largely unclear; please take it seriously at Headquarters."

Let Otto handle these troubles; his concern over the matter paled in comparison to Otto's interest.

However, Xia Chen still had tasks to attend to.

After Kiana left, Xia Chen calmly spoke up, "I assume you heard everything just now. So, Mr. Siegfried, do you have any suggestions?"

As he finished speaking, a figure emerged from the water, covered with crabs and octopuses clinging to his clothes.

Clearly, when Kiana arrived, Siegfried had immediately hidden underwater.

Fortunately, Kiana's unsettled state prevented her from noticing Siegfried sooner.

Despite his comical appearance, it did not mask Siegfried's distress. He sighed upon hearing Xia Chen's words, "I must find a way to take Kiana away."

"Then I advise you to act now," Xia Chen urged.

Xia Chen urged him repeatedly, "Since you've come to Coral Island, you must be aware of what's about to happen here."

Now, the events unfolding at Coral Island had become an open secret known to all.

Otto's intentions behind sending Kiana here were unmistakably clear.

As Siegfried was present, he naturally understood Otto's goal. Xia Chen couldn't comprehend why Siegfried would hesitate in this situation.

In response to Xia Chen's confusion, Siegfried remained silent.

The two stood there, an awkward tension filling the air.

"Never mind, there's nothing to hide anyway. I'll just tell you," Siegfried paused before speaking up, "By now, I assume you're familiar with Sirin Project."

Xia Chen nodded expressionlessly, "It involves resurrecting the Second Herrscher through experimentation, allowing humans to harness her power while separating it from the Will of Honkai. Kiana is the ultimate result of this plan; of course, I know about it."

If anyone still wasn't aware of Sirin Project, they were either as clueless as Durandal or as naive as Theresa. The presence of Sirin's consciousness within Kiana had been known to many for years, making it easy to deduce Otto's scheme.

"Then do you know why, despite knowing about Sirin Project for so long, no one attempted to stop it?"

Siegfried began self-deprecatingly, "To understand this, we must go back to my marriage."

"When I married Kiana's mother, Cecilia, it was arranged as part of an alliance between House Kaslana and House Schariac. In truth, the plan itself originated from here. The Kaslanas possess bloodlines nearly immune to Honkai, while the Schariacs have unique abilities to manipulate it."

"As a result, Kiana was intended from the start to be cultivated as the strongest warrior against Honkai."

"At that time, Otto convinced both our families with this rationale. However, after Kiana's birth, everyone closely watching the project was greatly disappointed. She displayed no extraordinary talents; instead, perhaps due to her mixed lineage, she showed only potential akin to an ordinary warrior."

"While Kiana might become a Valkyrie, she definitely couldn't meet Otto's expectations."

As Siegfried continued rambling, Xia Chen couldn't help but furrow his brow.

"I suggest sticking to the main point, Mr. Siegfriend," he interjected, showing little interest in outdated gossip.

Siegfried paused before saying, "Alright, I knew you youngsters wouldn't have my patience."

A hint of nostalgia flickered across his eyes.

After Kiana's birth, almost everyone abandoned the original plan to create the ultimate warrior—except for Otto.

For reasons unknown, Otto had unwavering faith in young Kiana, and their bond was exceptionally strong.

That is, until after the Second Honkai Eruption.

Cecilia's death raised numerous questions, compelling Siegfried to investigate. Naturally, he couldn't accomplish this alone against Schicksal, so he sought help from Theresa and Anti-Entropy's scientists.

The investigation results left Siegfried deeply shaken.

Otto was using Kiana's genes to fuse with those of a Herrscher, aiming to resurrect and control one through experimentation.

To some, this endeavor seemed grandiose; to others, it was terrifying.

In consultation with Anti-Entropy, Siegfried opted to remove the successful experimental subject instead of destroying it entirely.

He feared the resurrection of the Second Herrscher but also hoped that k423 would grow into the most formidable warrior against Honkai—a profoundly contradictory and disturbed mindset.

Later, they realized that k423 might be their only hope to defeat Honkai. Even Anti-Entropy's brilliant scientists modified the Moonlight Throne project, anchoring Kiana as its designated pilot.

Now, all their expectations rested upon her shoulders.

"I have already failed once; I cannot recklessly take Kiana away from here again." Siegfried's voice carried a hint of regret. "The feeling of failure is not pleasant. Can you imagine how hesitant I felt when arriving at Coral Island?"

"If the impending collapse of Coral Island serves as a sacrifice for warriors, and if I am also meant to be one of its offerings, then willingly, I shall become part of this sacrificial ritual."

Xia Chen understood immediately.

"It's clear now. In reality, Anti-Entropy couldn't find any other viable solutions, so they either actively or passively aligned with Otto's actions, allowing Sirin Project to progress smoothly," Xia Chen observed cynically.

"Then, after learning about Coral Island and suspecting Otto's hidden agenda, you became conflicted."

He did not hide his scornful tone.

"I'm not in a position to judge you, but it seems no one ever bothered to ask for Kiana's opinion—whether it's the current Kiana or the real one."

If Coral Island was intended as the coronation site for Otto's version of Kiana, then Siegfried himself would be offered as the sacrificial tribute.

At this point, the right or wrong of Sirin Project no longer mattered; what was crucial was that Otto had bound all factions to his war machine.

While it wasn't entirely impossible to halt the project, the cost of stopping it had become prohibitively high. Moreover, Otto successfully positioned everyone as potential beneficiaries.

Unlike Xia Chen, who possessed the simulator to foresee outcomes and make informed decisions, they did not have such luxury. Consequently, each step they took required extreme caution, leaving them feeling utterly helpless.
