"I… I will inform Raikage-sama," the messenger stammered, his lips trembling.

He prepared to leave with his men, but Sarutobi Hiruzen's stern voice halted him. "I told you to go back alone," Hiruzen commanded.

The messenger turned back, meeting the furious gaze of the aged Hokage, his face lined with wrinkles that seemed to be chiseled by a knife. In that instant, Hiruzen gave a subtle signal to the Anbu members.

Kakakka~

In less than ten seconds, only the lead envoy from the Cloud Village remained; the rest had been executed.

A white-haired Anbu member approached, his tone cold as he addressed the remaining envoy, "Mr. Messenger, please leave Konoha. You are no longer welcome here."

The envoy's gaze fell on the blood-stained blade. Without a word, he turned and fled Konoha, making his way out under the cover of night. After the Anbu disposed of the bodies, Hiashi Hyuga broke the silence. "Wasn't that approach a bit too harsh?"

Hiruzen's expression softened as he explained, "Konoha's prior stance was too conciliatory, so the Raikage assumed we were avoiding conflict." In reality, he thought, we really don't want war. "However, if we show unwavering strength, Raikage will have to consider if we've acquired some new advantage."

Hiashi nodded slowly, starting to understand. As expected from Hokage-sama, he thought. Although Hiashi had previously been critical of Hiruzen's decisions, he now saw that every action was for Konoha's benefit and for the stability of the ninja world. After all, if he himself, as head of the Hyuga clan, felt infuriated by Cloud Village's provocations, how could Hiruzen—leading all of Konoha—be indifferent?

After that, Hiruzen departed with the Anbu.

Naruto, who had been observing, yawned, ready to go home for a meal. But Hiashi called out to him. "Naruto, if you don't mind, may we talk?"

"Huh?" Naruto replied, surprised but willing, and nodded.

Hiashi arranged a small meal for Naruto, thanking him for saving his daughter Hinata. They chatted about Naruto's personal life, such as whether he was managing well financially. Naruto didn't hold back in his eating, enjoying the meal.

When Naruto was finally full, Hiashi took a sip of wine and got to the point. "Naruto, may I ask what you think of my daughter?"

"Hinata?" Naruto thought of her shy, sweet face and nodded. "She's nice."

Naruto sensed Hiashi's intention but kept silent, allowing Hiashi to lead the conversation. Not beating around the bush, Hiashi proposed, "If that's the case, let me arrange an engagement between you two."

Hiss…

Naruto set down his chopsticks, looking at Hiashi in astonishment. In the original events, he thought, the Hyuga clan only approved of his relationship with Hinata after he became a hero. He'd imagined a long struggle, with clan rules holding them back. But here was Hiashi, proposing an immediate engagement.

"Do you not want to, Naruto?" Hiashi asked, feigning anger.

Despite knowing it was an act, Hiashi's serious demeanor still carried weight. Naruto didn't hesitate. "Of course I want to."

Hiashi nodded in satisfaction. "Good. Today, you're engaged. Eight years from now, you'll wed."

Just like that? Naruto wondered, feeling dazed. He had prepared himself for a battle against tradition but ended up with a marriage contract.

Later that night, Naruto returned home, grinning like a fool. Inside him, Kurama stirred. "Don't forget about me," he reminded Naruto.

"Of course not," Naruto replied confidently. "I'll find a way to free you."

Satisfied, Kurama didn't press further, though Naruto felt a bit uncomfortable knowing Kurama could now see the outside world. Playing games with Hinata will be a little awkward with a fox watching.

After completing a recent mission, Naruto earned another simulation attempt. Having grown more strategic, he was determined to use these chances carefully to maximize his character's power. But exhausted from the day's events, he decided to rest first.

The next morning, Naruto reheated leftovers, filled his stomach, and prepared to simulate again, focusing on one goal: finding immunity against the risks associated with the tailed beast.

"System, start the simulation!"

[Ding~ Host consumes a simulation attempt and begins character creation.]

[Surnames drawn: Shanshan, Yamanaka, Moonlight… Senju.]

"Senju?" Naruto exclaimed in excitement. "That's a rare find! Maybe I can inherit the Senju bloodline. Alright, Senju it is."

One by one, Naruto selected the remaining attributes.

The finalized character read:

Surname: Senju

Talent: Uzumaki Kushina

Health: Neji

IQ: Tenten

Personality: Rock Lee

Interpersonal Skills: Shino

Appearance: Hatake Kakashi

Hobbies: Orochimaru - Immortality Research

Specialties: Senju Tobirama

[System evaluation: You were born into the esteemed Senju clan. Your talent in ninjutsu is exceptional, and you possess a healthy physique without any congenital issues. While your IQ is average, your personality gives you remarkable perseverance. You're often overlooked until you act, and you have a charming, bright appearance. You seek immortality and have a knack for studying advanced techniques.]

Reviewing the evaluation, Naruto felt a thrill of satisfaction. This was his seventh simulation, and it confirmed his theory: his character's strength was growing with each attempt. It's like having Orochimaru's obsession, Senju Tobirama's abilities, and Rock Lee's determination. He wondered if he could truly achieve immortality this time, or at the very least significantly boost his physical resilience. Capturing a tailed beast should be easy with this setup.

He then selected his simulation settings: Era - Second Shinobi World War, as Orochimaru rose to prominence around then; Location - Konoha Village.

This time, Naruto was determined to make the most of the simulation and his powerful lineage.
