"How disheartening," Naruto thought, "but at least, these simulations aren't real." He sighed, knowing that as a Jinchuriki, his path was set with hardships. Nevertheless, he had a unique advantage. His system—and his role as the protagonist—meant he could avoid mistakes and possibly reach unimaginable heights.

"System," he called out, "select the Nine Tails."

Naruto blinked at the description. This might be risky. He still wasn't sure if he could wield his sealing techniques effectively on Nine Tails. But if he could test his control over Yang Nine Tails first, it would mean he had the potential to contain and harness the full Nine Tails someday. The thought thrilled him, sparking a new plan.

"Maybe," he considered, "I could use this to face the full Nine Tails one day… Let's try it."

That night, his curiosity only intensified, and the excitement lingered as he drifted off to sleep.

In the depths of Naruto's sealed subconscious, Yang Nine Tails sensed his presence, using chakra to pull Naruto's spirit into the mental space. When Naruto became aware of his surroundings, he found himself in a dark, echoing sewer.

"This is...?" Naruto's gaze scanned the strange, dim environment. Could this be the realm of Nine Tails?

Shaking off his nerves, Naruto advanced further into the shadows until he arrived at a massive iron gate. A seal adorned the door, but beyond it, darkness obscured his vision. Nine Tails' voice echoed, laced with chakra that seemed to entice Naruto to come closer.

"Come closer, kid."

Naruto resisted, realizing it was a trick. Flashing a confident smile, he called out, "Nice try, Kurama—I know you too well to fall for that."

Silence hung heavily in the air before Nine Tails replied, his beast-like eyes opening with intrigue. "How…do you know my name?" the demon asked, a hint of suspicion lacing his tone.

Naruto thought of the new mission and decided to play along. "An old man in a dream told me," he replied with a straight face.

The fox's ears perked up, scrutinizing Naruto's expression. "Describe him."

Summoning his best memory, Naruto described an elderly man with a distinct appearance—a third eye, a long beard, black staff, and unusual horns. This seemed to confirm something in Nine Tails' mind.

"It must be him," the fox murmured, recalling the Sage of Six Paths, an ancient figure who had shaped the history of the tailed beasts. Naruto, however, noticed the distrust in the fox's eyes. After centuries of containment, its hatred of humanity was hard to shake. Naruto felt he needed to prove himself.

Nine Tails raised his enormous paw, hitting the iron gate with a forceful thud, startling Naruto. He quickly steadied himself, his irritation rising as Nine Tails mocked him.

"You brat, think you can stand against me?" the fox jeered.

Naruto's jaw tightened, now resolved to put Nine Tails in its place. Although new to using sealing techniques, he remembered enough to attempt one. Moving slowly and deliberately, Naruto began to form the signs, though his lack of experience showed.

Nine Tails, watching this, let out a mocking laugh, "What, are you trying to fight me, kid?" The great fox's arrogance was clear.

But as Naruto completed the sequence, a golden chain, imbued with sealing power, materialized in front of him—Adamantine Sealing Chains, modified from an ancient Uzumaki technique.

For a split second, Nine Tails' smug expression faltered, eyeing the chain with a mixture of anger and disbelief. But the beast quickly recomposed itself, slamming its paw against the iron gate and effortlessly snapping the chain.

Naruto frowned, observing the failure. Though his technique was formidable, it fell short against the full power of Nine Tails. He realized his limitations but refused to be discouraged; his proficiency and chakra control would only improve with time.

"So," he muttered to himself, "let's try something stronger." He readied himself to attempt the Eight Sign Seal, a technique renowned for its powerful sealing abilities.

The air thickened as he prepared the next attempt, setting his mind to subdue Nine Tails and earn its respect. He may not have the experience or strength to control the full power of Nine Tails just yet, but his resolve grew fiercer. With each technique he practiced, he knew he was pushing himself closer to the power he dreamed of mastering.

In a final surge of energy, Naruto focused entirely on the new seal. This time, he felt a stronger presence emanating from the depths of his spirit. A golden aura surrounded him, blending with his resolve to wield the Eight Sign Seal to its full potential.

As he extended his arms, the golden energy condensed, weaving together into an intricate symbol that hovered in the air before him. Just as he was about to direct it toward Nine Tails, the fox shifted, revealing a sudden glimmer of curiosity in its eyes.

Naruto froze, catching Nine Tails' gaze, noticing a subtle shift in the beast's demeanor. There was a lingering question in those eyes, a flicker of something that seemed to wonder if this boy was truly different. Naruto's own expression softened, though he remained cautious, ready to unleash the seal if necessary.

"I get it, you know," Naruto began, his voice softer. "Why you'd be angry…caged and sealed all these years. But if you'll work with me, I'll show you I'm not like the others."

Nine Tails narrowed its eyes but said nothing, watching Naruto carefully. Perhaps, after centuries of betrayal, it was still unconvinced. But Naruto knew he had left a mark. In time, he was confident that he could break through the fox's mistrust. He lowered his hands, letting the Eight Sign Seal fade away.

Nine Tails watched as he did so, remaining silent but aware of the change in Naruto's demeanor.

"I'm here because I need your strength," Naruto stated boldly, "but I won't force it from you. You'll give it willingly…or not at all."

The fox's eyes flashed momentarily, but this time, no mocking words came. Naruto took this silence as a sign and nodded to himself, leaving the sealed space with newfound confidence. Though he hadn't achieved full mastery, he had opened a door, setting a foundation for mutual respect.

As Naruto woke, the dawn light filtered through his window. He sat up, filled with a renewed sense of purpose. The next time he faced Nine Tails, he would be stronger. His confidence was his fuel; his ambition, boundless.

One day, Naruto vowed, he would truly master the power of Nine Tails—not as its captor but as its equal.
