Chapter 16: The Jungle
A split second before teleportation, Nobu felt a chilling touch, it did not harm him and seemed familiar. All For One's touch implanted several abilities in him, and Nobu himself was now the only master of his body. Ash disappeared along with this monstrous power. All For One accepted the fight and was able to win, but he did not consider it a victory, because of the losses he suffered. Having teleported, Nobu was very weakened and watched the whirlwind carrying him very far from Japan. This whirlwind of incomprehensible images made him feel very sick and it seemed that Nobu had fallen into turbulence or a singularity, causing light hallucinations. This lasted for two seconds.
Then Nobu felt fresh air, no longer as familiar as it was a couple of moments ago, as he began to fall through the foliage and crowns of strange trees that he had not seen before. A multitude of scratches were inflicted on the body of a five-year-old boy, who would feel it in a moment when he finally fell into a mud puddle, which somewhat softened the fall. The puddle turned out to be quite warm, even though Nobu's entire body was now covered in mud. After the battle with All For One, only small remnants of what used to be pants remained of his clothes. The tired boy could no longer resist fatigue and his eyelids closed, the last image was tall trees covered with vines, which he had previously seen only in books.
- Ha ... the jungle .. - he said tiredly and fell into a twelve-hour sleep.
A lot happens in the jungle in twelve hours, in such dangerous places it is very easy to be noticed by predators dangerous to humans. Since this world is a haven for those with terrible abilities, often going beyond the laws of physics. In rare cases, even for animals, for example Nezu.
When Nobu woke up from the Sun, whose rays fell on his pale face. The star was already at its zenith, peeking out from the foliage. He really didn't want to get out of the already warm mud.
"Mud? What nonsense, how am I....the jungle! Ash? Ash! It's gone." He was glad about the fact that Ash was gone, but now he was overwhelmed by the realization of what had finally happened. It seemed like Nobu realized that he was in the jungle, and he was quirkless. He vaguely remembered the battle with All for One through Ash's eyes, a couple of flashes, then the nauseating hallucinations from which Nobu vomited right into the mud from which he had gotten up.
Fear began to creep up on him, the fear of hopelessness. The pressure of the jungle, going beyond the usual sphere of comfort, loneliness, the loss of such a strong confidence that Ash created. Now Nobu thought that he was a useless nonentity to anyone. It was as if he had been thrown into the forest. He began to cry. Nobu was a stranger here, everything was foreign. He did not understand why the Japanese forest created a different feeling, and this one was so wild. Nobu had worked out many times that if he got into a hopeless situation, everything would not be so scary. He was wrong.
"Mom...." he sobbed out loud. Somewhere in the distance, a roar was heard, forcing him to suddenly fall silent. He silently tried to stop his tears, hiding in the ferns. Somewhere, a monkey with sharp fangs ran along the branches. "I-is it just me or have they gotten bigger?" Nobu remembered the snow macaque in Japan and compared the size of the fangs. This was no longer the arrogant psychopath Ash, this was just a five-year-old boy with slightly above average intelligence. No dreams, no regrets, no childish dreams. It did not matter anymore, he was alone against a whole world of incomprehensible and dangerous creatures. Thus began his survival in the most remote point from civilization in a country called Myanmar.

Courthouse, Musutafu City
-Right now, there is a rally outside the courthouse, where the main suspect and witness in the mystery of the disappearance of the village of Shitara will be brought today. - said the reporter, against the backdrop of street demonstrations. People came out with posters of various kinds, for example, "We came for answers," "The truth cannot be hidden," or even "Death to the criminal," "Justice above all," etc.
The public knew very little about Ningen and the details were not disclosed. The purpose of the rally was precisely the demand to disclose the details of this case. The time came, and the car with Ningen arrived at the courthouse. The police took him out of the car and led him inside the building. He was met by an angry crowd shouting "Shame", the police blocked their way, but a couple of chicken eggs flew at him, he was quickly taken away behind the closed doors of the court. Ningen had never felt more shame in his life. This heartbreaking crowd acted as pressure, trying to make him repent of all the sins of mankind.
Even before arriving at the court, Oda and Ningen discussed the situation and the best way out of it.
- In general, according to the established scheme, you have three options. The first is that you admit your guilt, and they will put you in jail. The second is that you deny it, but we have very few trump cards for the judge, so I don't think we'll get you out. And the third, as for me, the most adequate of all, is that you tell us what happened in the village, and maybe they'll acquit you and send you out on bail. I still have a fourth option in store, but this is the last trump card. - Oda insisted on telling us what happened in the village. Of course, Ningen's version. This will have a positive effect on the judge, the protesters, and society as a whole.
- You were even able to save my mother and nephew Ryuji. I think the judge approves of that. But from me personally, you don't deserve any mercy. Nobu has disappeared, and you could be to blame for that.
"The lawsuit doesn't really state anything except suspicions of blackmail, he had some shady dealings, but if we can uncover what happened in the village, the court will be able to lighten the punishment for past actions. The leader couldn't bribe the judge, but on the other hand, why would we need this Ningen? He's not Himura and not part of the family." - That's what Oda Himura thought until he heard the defendant's speech in court.
The trial was open and with the participation of cameramen. It was watched by many who care about such an unfortunate village as Shitara. The first thirty minutes were typical bureaucratic procedures and blah-blah-blah. Until it got to the most important thing. The defendant began to behave strangely, twitch slightly and sweat profusely, Oda could notice his dilated pupils. Finally, Ningen began to recount everything he saw from the moment he arrived in the village until the moment rescuers found them in the forest, but towards the end his tone changed to a more aggressive side.
- When I saw Him, it was a sight worthy of worship, like an angel descending from heaven. Nobu, it was him. The village was completely destroyed by both of them. Two Gods of the world of quirks clashed there. And the villagers, they were taken away! Yes! They will surely become just material for aliens! - Ningen behaved inappropriately, began to attack the observers, so the judge ordered him to be taken away from the hall.
- You will never make silence scream loudly! ... - the last thing heard from Ningen. Oda was amazed, he did not even have to mix anything into Ningen for him to behave inappropriately and become insane in the eyes of society and the judge. Oda decided to take advantage of the opportunity and use his trump card - a certificate from a psychotherapist about a psychological illness based on an examination. There was no better moment. So he will be placed in a mental hospital. "A little worse than prison, but still, we can agree."
The judge decided that Ningen was insane and placed him in a hospital.
All For One decided to influence Ningen himself, one of the police officers mixed a psychotropic substance into his peanut sandwich before the trial.
On social networks, where the live broadcast was broadcast, the chat exploded:
"He's crazy!"
"This sick person thinks that a five-year-old could do something like this!"
"The last phrase sounded cool"
"Bye to the house with white walls😎"
"Disappointment in the judicial system again"
"Nothing new"
"I DEMAND JUSTICE"
"Where is the punishment? There were a lot of children and old people in this village, where the hell did they go?!"
"I love the Almighty"
"What does the Almighty have to do with it?"
"Where is the Almighty?"
Somewhere All For One was laughing "Two Gods collided. Haha." And then choked as he felt the pain of the burns and remembered the loss of several quirks. "Damn child, to lose such a beautiful quirk, it must be at the level of One For All, if not stronger."
The head of the Himura house, a serious old man of 80 years old with white hair, along with Ryuji and Teruko, watched the entire trial. Ningen's words about Nobu made them think, after which they finally realized that it sounded illogical and meaningless. Even if Nobu had a quirk, it did not make him a deity. Only Teruko knew about this, but the old woman did not want to talk about it.
