3rd Person Pov

After waking up, Kiana, Mei, Bronya, and Lucia started eating the food from their scavenge that Bronya did earlier in the morning. They sit around the dining table, sharing the food with the others while Kiana tries stealing Bronya's food. While eating, a question gets into Lucia's head: Where did Bronya find all of this food?

Lucia: Hey Bronya, where did you get all of this food?

Bronya: Bronya found it in the school cafeteria. It's a bit hard because the infected roam around, but fortunately, the food is not contaminated.

Mei: Wow, thanks Bronya-chan you took the risk to get all of this?

Bronya: Accepted subject Mei's thanks.

Lucia: Indeed, thank you Bronya.

The squad continues eating their breakfast while trying to ignore the fact that they are stuck inside the school with no way to escape, at least for the time being. They continue to chat while eating breakfast, planning on how to get out of this school and get more survival necessities.

Lucia: *sips water* So, does anyone have a plan to get out of this place?

Mei: So far I can't think of anything or a route for us to use to get out of this school.

Bronya: Bronya suggests going on a scout to find any routes after breakfast.

Mei: That could work.

Lucia: Okay, you two stop it and finish up both of your breakfasts or it will get even colder.

Time skip 30 minutes later

After breakfast is over the group starts to discuss the scouting plans for the school grounds for an escape route. Bronya had found several layout plans of the school, in total, there are five since there are five floors in the school. Lucia, Mei, and Bronya as they furrow their brows, their expression is serious as they strategize their plan, while Kiana here is trying to process the entire map in her brain.

Mei: *chuckles* You can do it slowly, no need to rush.

Lucia: So Bronya, how are we going to do this?

Bronya: Da Bronya thinks that splitting into two groups is a good idea to cover more area.

Lucia: I'll go with you Mei, Kiana you can go with Bronya instead.

Lucia only responds to that with a cold side glance at Kiana, knowing what Kiana can do if she is alone with Mei. Bronya watched them from afar, her gaze fixed on the scene unfolding before her, as she saw it coming. Knowing Kiana's behavior most of the time.

Kiana: Fine Lucia senpai.....

Mei: Okay then, shall we all go now?

Bronya: Subject Lucia and Subject Mei should check the upper floors while Da Bronya and Subject Kiana will go to the lower floors.

Everyone: *Nods* Understood.

The group then prepared themselves to leave the dormitory area of the academy and head to the main area using the same halls they used to get to the dormitory area the day before. They then split up on the staircase, Lucia and Mei head upstairs to the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors while Bronya and Kiana check the 1st floor (ground floor) and 2nd floor. Unfortunately before Kiana and Bronya can reach downstairs they see several honkai-zombies that were once students and civilians in the halls of the 1st floor.

A/n: The group was on the 1st floor when they stayed in the dormitory areas, and the hall connects it to the 1st floor of the academy. To clear stuff out they went to the infirmary in the dormitory area + cafeteria there when the prologue chapter where they got down from the roof it's from the dormitory area and using the staircase there instead

Kiana: Oh my- *mouth covered by Bronya*

Bronya: Subject Kiana needs to shut up if subject kiana wants to stay alive, Bronya thinks the first floor is not safe at all.

Kiana: *pulls down Bronya's hand from her mouth* Jeez, can't you be more gentle Bronya?

Bronya: Nyet, if Bronya didn't shut Kiana Idiotka's mouth, we would have died.

Kiana: Finee..... Sorry...

Bronya: Subject Kiana's apology accepted.

Kiana: Bronya, do you see anything?

Bronya: Bronya sees a security room near the main door. Bronya calculated an 80% chance there's a walkie talkie there. But how do subject kiana and Bronya get there while trying to get past safely without alerting the infected ?

Kiana: Why don't you use your project bunny Bronya?

Bronya: Well, Bronya plans to use it if necessary but Subject Kiana doesn't have any weapon.

Kiana: I could go check the 2nd floor while you do the first-floor Bronya

Bronya: Bronya didn't think of that, Subject Kiana can go do that, but be careful.

Kiana: Understood.

Kiana then left Bronya alone before heading up the stairs to the 2nd floor of the school leaving Bronya alone on the 1st floor. Bronya then takes another peek at the security room near the main entrance, while also trying to devise a plan in her head on how to get there.

Bronya: Bronya, guess there is no other option than going bloodshed on these infected.

Bronya: Project Bunny: activate.

Bronya then proceeds to head towards the infected while killing them one by one using Project Bunny.

Meanwhile Mei and Lucia

Lucia Pov

Mei and I head towards the 3rd floor of the academy, and after climbing some set of staircases both of us arrive at the 3rd floor. The first thing that both of us see is a couple of honkai-zombies that are once students along with a group consisting of 3 archangel honkai-beasts from the seraph class.

Mei: Hmm, there are some honkai-zombies here. I also see some archangel honkai-beasts roaming around.

Me: How many archangels are there Mei?

Mei: So far, I only see 3 of them roaming the hallway.

Me: Are there any honkai-zombies seen?

Mei: I see a couple of them.

Me: That should be okay, as long as we don't do anything foolish.

Mei: makes sense, so any plans on what we will find on the 3rd floor?

Me: Hmm, check the other students backpack while using the higher floor to scout some supplies?

Mei: Could work, where should we begin Lucia?

Me: Getting rid of the Honkai-beast and the honkai-zombies first.

Mei: How are you planning to do that?

I proceed to only smile at Mei, and her expressions change to worry.

Mei: Lucia-chan, you are not going to do what I am thinking right?

I only respond with a smile to her, before walking towards the Honkai-zombies on the 3rd floor and the archangel Honkai beasts.

Mei: Oh no...

Let's check on Kiana in the meantime.

Kiana's pov

So far, the second floor has been quiet and has no honkai-zombies at all, at least it makes things a bit easier. I wander around the second floor for a moment before stumbling across the teacher's lounge. Thinking there might be supplies there like food and water I decide to take a peek in.

Me: Hehehe, Mei-senpai is going to be proud of me~ and I am going to beat Bronya in scavenging~

I tried opening the door of the teacher's lounge by pulling the door. But when I tried pulling the door the door didn't budge at all.

Me: Huh? Why is the door stuck?

I keep pulling on the door but the door won't budge at all. I then instead tried to push open the door while pulling down the door handle of the teacher's lounge.

Me: Why is the door stuck?

I kept pulling and pushing the door as strong as I could but the door still stuck and wouldn't budge at all.

Me: WHY IS THE DOOR STUCK? ARE YOU KIDDING MEEEEEE?!?!

Me: LETTT ME IIIIINNNNNNN.

Suddenly someone grabbed my shoulder, and I looked behind me slowly to see a girl with her mech companion behind her, with glowing eyes from the mech while the girl was covered in blood. I blinked in surprise and jumped because I was scared by this making me scream, before I could scream the girl shut my mouth with her hand.

Bronya: Kiana Idiotka stop screaming, Kiana Idiotka is attracting the honkai-zombies here.

Me: Bronya what the heck?!

Bronya: Really? Kiana Idiotka doesn't know how to open this door? Step aside

I move aside like Bronya says while she walks to the door, she grabs the door handle before pulling the door sideways.

Bronya: It's a sliding door Kiana Idiotka, now come.

Me: Ah....

Bronya and I then enter the teacher's lounge, when we enter the room, we see a bunch of mess assuming it's because of the panicked teachers trying to escape. Both of us then roam around the teacher's lounge searching through drawers, cabinets, and other storage spaces. Luckily there is some food and water left that could sustain the entire group for a while.

With Lucia and Mei

Mei Pov

What... Just... did... I... just.... Witnessed... Lucia-chan just slaughtered the honkai-zombies to bits and the 3 archangel honkai-beasts using only her hands. Once she's done she looks back at me and I could only just look at her speechless.

Lucia: Mei? Are you okay?

Me: Just... Speechless...

Lucia: Eh, it's nothing Mei-senpai.

Me: Let's just go search the classrooms, there should be no more hindrance.

Lucia: Very well.

Lucia and I walk into one of the classrooms and search each student's bag. Why are we doing this? Well, Lucia here thinks that one of the students on the 3rd floor may have brought a handgun. How did she know about this? Well, earlier before the honkai outbreak Lucia heard the rumors that one of the students who brought a handgun with some ammo was on the 3rd floor.

Me: Ugh, it's going to take forever to find this handgun among all the classes and bags.

Lucia: *throws a bag behind her* For the first time, I can agree that this will take a LONG time.

Me: Is there a way to find this faster?

Lucia: Sadly no, but I think I remember which side of the hall that is the classroom.

Me: Then let's go.

Lucia: Well, the hall of this classroom, there must be one of the backpacks in the classroom of this hall.

Me: *facepalm* That doesn't help at all to find this handgun Lucia-chan, and I have no idea where it is.

Lucia: I know, I am just trying to lighten up the mood.

Me: *sigh in defeat.*

Both of us continued searching through the bags one by one in every single classroom on this side of the hallway. Occasionally Lucia tried making jokes and puns with the stuff in the bag to lighten up the mood. It's not that funny but it helps a bit to lighten up the mood.

We keep searching for the handgun in every single bag from class to class, and eventually we reach the last class in the hallway. Lucia and I are tired from searching each bag with no result or any idea where the handgun could be found.

Me: *laying on the ground tired* Ugh... we been searching every single bag but we didn't find the handgun...

Lucia: *leaning against the wall tired* Ugh, all of this for nothing. Is the rumor even true...?

Me: Right... After all, rumors can be false. Should we check every room again not the bags incase we forgot a hidden bag or something?

Lucia: Wait wait wait, can you repeat that last line?

Lucia: Hidden bag... WAIT. *quickly gets up and gets out of the class*

Me: Lucia-chan where are you going?! *gets up and goes after her*

Lucia: *Heading to the first class we searched* Hidden bag that's it, there were only 34 bags in the classroom we first searched. All classes have 35 students so there should be 35 bags, not 34 bags.

Me: I see what you mean

Lucia enters the first classroom we search while going around looking for the hidden bag somewhere in the classroom. Not wanting to disturb her I go back to the staircase and I am about to scout for the 4th floor. It is something that I didn't expect because the staircase to the 4th floor has been barricaded, I think some students survive on the 4th and 5th floors and they are not willing to open the barricade.

Me: Oh well, that reduces Lucia and my job.

I head back to the classroom before entering to see Lucia find the hidden bag. She opens the bag and inside there's the handgun along with some mags. She looks at me before showing the gun to me.

Lucia: Mei-senpai, good news! We found the handgun, and just in the nick of time too because it's almost time for us to go back.

Me: Right, I also found out that the staircase to the 4th floor is blocked so we can just go head back.

Lucia and I are now heading back to the dorm after finding the gun and scouting for a bit from the 3rd floor. As we walked back their footsteps could be heard from the dormitory hallway, while we conversed we saw a pile of dead honkai-zombies that were spread across the 1st-floor hallway. We heard the distinct sound of footsteps echoing through the hallway, as I assume it's both Bronya's and Kiana's footsteps.

After we arrived back at the room I made sure to knock on the door to notify the others who already arrived back. The door then swings open revealing Bronya and Kiana who are lying down on the couch. I also see a bag on the dining table which I think is filled with some supplies.

Bronya: Welcome back Subject Mei, Subject Lucia.

Me: Thank you Bronya-chan.

Lucia and I enter the dorm before Bronya closes and locks the door behind us. Lucia goes to the couch and lay down immediately due to tiredness, while I sit on the chair in the dining room. Bronya decided to also join me at the dining table.

Bronya: Subject Mei, did Subject Mei find anything on the 3rd floor?

Me: *puts the handgun on the table with some mags along with it* We only manage to find a handgun with some mags on it.

Bronya: That's not bad, what about the 4th and 5th-floor Subject mei?

Me: Well, both sets of stairways are blocked. That means the only access we have to the roof is through the dormitory. How about you Bronya, what did you find with Kiana?

Bronya: *points at the rifle leaning on the side of the kitchen counter along with several mags on top of the counter with four walkie-talkies* Bronya found those in the security room, Subject Kiana and Bronya found some supplies that were in this bag.

Me: Wow, That's a lot of supplies you found Bronya-chan, anyways how do we get out of here?

Bronya: "I can set a trap in the dorms," *Bronya explained, her voice calm as she crossed her arms looking at Mei* "Something loud enough to draw attention, but not dangerous. It'll give you a chance to escape while they're distracted."

Me: Bronya-chan, don't risk yourself just to save us.

Bronya: Bronya promises that Bronya will catch up with Subject Mei and the others.

Me: What's your plan then Bronya?

Bronya: Bronya will set off the dormitory alarm from the fifth floor. After that, Subject Mei and the others will use the emergency exit stairs down the roof.

Me: But what about those walls around the school, they are going to be a real challenge. Any thoughts on how to get past them ?

Bronya: Climb it over, since there is no option. While the front gate is easier to access, it will also be a death wish since the honkai-zombies will come through there and attack us.

Me: Right... So when exactly are we leaving ? since I need to know what to expect.

Bronya: Tonight, the faster we get out of here, the better.

Me: Right, I should go get some rest and prepare the things we need.

Bronya: Right, Bronya will rest while subject mei, kiana idiotka and subject lucia will rest also.

I then go and lay right beside Lucia, while trying to rest my mind about everything that's been happening for the past couple of days. also tell Lucia and Kiana about the plan that has just been made by Bronya and me.

Time Skip to night time when they are about to execute the plan.

3rd Person Pov

As the night falls, the group prepares themselves to get out of the academy. Bronya goes to the 5th floor of the dormitory and takes her position to pull the fire alarm, while the others head to the room and they are getting ready by nearing themselves at the emergency staircase down the roof. Lucia is carrying the bag filled with the supplies of food and water, Kiana is using the handgun, and Mei uses the rifle that Bronya found.

Mei: *Using walkie-talkie* Bronya are you there?

Bronya: Affirmative Subject Mei, Bronya is in position ready to pull the fire alarm.

Mei: Are you ready to make a run for it Kiana, Lucia?

Lucia: I'm ready.

Kiana: So do I.

Mei: Very well, Bronya, is now and never! pull the fire alarm, and let's get out of here!

Bronya: Understood Subject Mei.

Bronya then pulls down the fire alarm, as soon as the fire alarm in the dormitory shrieks from the emergency stairs, usually be a quiet place is now buzzed with activity as the surroundings began to illuminate flickering red lights down the roof's access on the side of the building the streets began to quickly attract the honkai-zombies that are nearby the dormitory area of the academy, Bronya looked at the scene calmly as the honkai-zombies began to flood in. At the same time Kiana, Lucia, and Mei rush down the emergency staircase down the roof as their hearts pound in their chest while Bronya tries nimble and quickly follows close behind, as their footsteps can be heard through the halls. The trio managed to get down to the ground and reach the wall. They helped and boosted each other while climbing over the wall before making a run for it to the small apartment they were going to target from yesterday two blocks away.

Bronya reaches the rooftop as she peering down the scene before her, as she runs to the stairs but before she can go down the stairs that she was aiming for broken down by the honkai-beasts who rushes into the wall of the academy. The impact of metal staircases that were once there crashed and fell to the ground with a deafening clang sound.

Bronya: *uses walkie-talkie, as bronya's voice crackled over the comms* Subject Mei, bad news the staircase just smashed the emergency stairs by the honkai-beast and now subject mei and bronya are cut off from reaching each other.

Mei: Dang it, is there any way you could reach us ?

Bronya: Bronya could use Project Bunny to float through the rooftops, but Bronya will be slow to reach subject mei and the others.

Mei: Very well we will meet at the apartment that we planned to target yesterday.

Bronya: Affirmative.

Meanwhile, the main trio makes a run for the small apartment, Kiana and Mei are running as they breath heavily exhaustively while also still shooting down the honkai-zombies that are in their way. While on their run Lucia, ever resourceful, managed to find a honkai-zombie corpse with a machete embedded on its body, so she grabs it before continuing running. Soon enough as they were about to reach the small apartment building, suddenly the ground shuddered violently. Sensing the upcoming danger Lucia pulls Mei and Kiana towards her, as a building's wall beside them is smashed through the wall by a Chariot Honkai beast.

Mei and Kiana start to shoot the Chariot Honkai beast while walking backward with Lucia covering their backs from Honkai-zombies. But all the bullets that Mei and Kiana fired at the Chariot Honkai beast, were just pebbles against the honkai-beast bouncing harmlessly off its thick armour. In response the honkai-beast roared, the sound shook the air as the honkai-beast rushed toward them, Mei and Kiana dodged barely avoiding the beast's crushing attack while Lucia got knocked off by her feet to a nearby wall.

Mei: Lucia-chan! Are you okay?

Lucia: Ugh... I am fine. It hit a little harder than I thought.

Kiana: What do we do? Our guns can't don't anything to that honkai-beast.

But luckily Bronya watching the whole thing managed to catch up and she is on top of one of the buildings nearby. She leaps off the building while summoning Project Bunny as it is materializing in her hands.

Bronya: Target locked.

Mei and Kiana: Bronya, right on time!

Bronya with Project Bunny strikes with a blur of steel and fury to the Chariot honkai-beast using Project Bunny's weapon,finding their mark with deadly precision killing it instantly a roar can be heard through the building. With the immediate threat neutralized, the group, not wasting any time, helps Lucia get up and quickly get into the small apartment taking the 3rd floor of the building as the current shelter. All of them take their place leaning against the wall,while resting on the sofa to take a rest. Bronya lays down on Mei's lap feeling very tired from catching up with the others earlier. Bronya noticed a scratch on Lucia's hand from earlier.

Bronya: Injuries detected on Subject Lucia.

Lucia: I know, I'm fine it's just a small scratch.

Kiana: Lucia-senpai let me take a look.

Kiana approaches Lucia and takes her hand before checking the scratch on her hand. Kiana then licks the scratch on Lucia's hand.

Kiana: My tongue is a remedy for this~ *wink*

Bronya: Project Bunny, Lock on target: Subject Kiana. Subject Lucia, please respond if Subject Lucia is uncomfortable.

Lucia: No need Bronya *places other hands on Kiana's head* Kiana...

Kiana: Yes Lucia-senpai- *Gets bonk and slap on the face by Lucia*

Bronya: Respond added to database, Kiana Idiotka is an unhygienic idiot.

Mei: *thinking to herself* I wonder why we are seeing massive honkai-beasts now, is the honkai concentration rising?

Kiana: Mei, do you think we are going to get out of here safely?

Mei: Yes we are, no matter how hard it is we need to get out of this city since it's not safe anymore.

Lucia: I am going to sleep, I am too tired to do anything.

Mei: Ah, okay good night Lucia-chan.

*THOMP

Everyone: ?!

Suddenly something crashes into the building, the impact knocks Lucia out of her spot, her head snapped out of her sleepy daze who was about to fall asleep, Kiana, Mei and Bronya tumbling back out to the streets. A massive honkai-beast with a shield and a lance comes out from the rubble and dust. It has its target on all of them, without any opportunity it swings its lance at the group.

Bronya: Project Bunny activated.

Bronya tried to counterattack its massive lance attack using Projects Bunny's but she only could hold it for a short time before being launched back by its force through a couple of buildings.

Mei: BRONYA!

The massive honkai-beast doesn't give any chance for a break and quickly rushes towards Mei and is about to slash her. But Kiana steps in and blocks the attack with her body and the slash hits her back instead, quickly knocking her out in Mei's arm.

Mei: Ki.. Kiana...

As the honkai-beast goes for the killing blow, unexpectedly its attack gets parried by Lucia who just stepped in right on time. Lucia keeps doing her best despite her fatigue to parry and deflect the massive honkai-beast's attack. Mei tries to wake up Kiana who is unconscious from the injury she just received. But Lucia who can't keep her focus for much longer, her machete broke before getting hit and being knocked off to a building.

Mei: LUCIA!

Lucia: Ugh.... I am fine.... *falls unconscious*

The honkai-beast then focuses on and swings its lance toward Mei but some sort of energy blocks it. While hugging Kiana trying to keep her safe, Mei's eyes glow purple as her stigmata activate as well, and lightning orbs appear on the left side of Mei.She slowly floats up in the air as the crackles of thunder intensify around her as the orb starts forming some sort of a wing.

Mei: The queen does not accept your service worm.

A lightning orb appears above the honkai-beast before striking it down, as it erupts slowly destroying the honkai-beast, and shooting up a lightning beam up to the skies. The herrscher of thunder has been born. Unknown to her that the lighting beam has been seen by two people who just escaped a lab and now are heading towards it. In the sky at the same time a big ship that is approaching Nagazora city that is delayed by a couple of minutes to respond also is heading towards the city in response to the awakening of the 3rd herrscher.

Next week hopefully at least 1 reincarnated as a griseo chapter if possible and have time 2 chapters + 1 main book chapter update from the rotation.
