Time: ??, Location: Underground Lab Near the Outskirt of Nagazora
3rd person Pov
The once lively Nagazora City has been reduced to ruins. A few days ago the third Herrscher a.k.a. the Herrscher of Thunder, appeared with the resulting Honkai eruption turning the once lively city into ruins. Near the outskirts of Nagazora, a five-floor building stands as the cover for a laboratory located deep underground. This lab is where some of the cruelest experiments were done. Most of the experiments in the lab have a connection to Honkai energy and its effects on living beings. However, due to the Eruption the lab was abandoned with the now empty halls filled with Honkai-infected zombies, Honkai beasts, and dead bodies.
One of the lab rooms seems to be the more important than the others simply due to the sheer amount of Honkai beasts and zombies guarding it. Inside the room are two medium-sized glass lab tanks placed side by side in the middle of the room. At the top of the glass tanks are labels: Ascendant, subject 001 on the left and subject 002 on the right. Inside the glass tank labeled 001, floats a girl with very long white hair, and heterochromia eyes. Her left eye being grey and her right eye a crimson red. Both of the girl's hands are mechanical and synthetic robot-like joints that are noticeable where her wrist and fingers are and a pair of mechanical headgear that is attached to her right where the ears are, reminiscent of headphones.
In the other glass tank labeled Subject 002 floats a girl with long white twin tails and orange eyes with cross-shaped pupils. Both of the girl's legs are synthetic and the headgear on Subject 002 is attached to her head right above the ears, two mechanical circles float on both the left and right twin tails with her hair passing through the middle of the circle and two hair ornaments can be seen right after the floating circles.
(A/n: Just imagine both Alpha and Luna in the glass tank and wearing lab garments.)
In front of the glass tanks are several weapons and a few different sets of clothes on two tables. The items on the tables are meant for the two girls ito use. On the table in front of Subject 001 is a red scarf, black vest, black jacket with a gradient color scheme that has it gradually turning from red at the bottom to black at the top, a pair of black ankle boots, and a katana.
On the table in front of Subject 002 is a white dress paired with a white bodysuit, a thigh strap, a bracelet, and four black colored mechanical spikes.

Both girls appear to be peacefully sleeping while suspended in the liquid that fills the tanks with an oxygen mask attached to their faces. Two monitors are connected to each glass tank so as to monitor the girl's activity and status. Suddenly, all four screen flash red with the text 'WARNING' going across it.
Monitor: [Warning: Herrscher-level concentration of Honkai energy detected in the area.]
Monitor: [Executing Emergency Protocol]
Monitor: [Waking up Subject 001 & 002]
Following the starting of the emergency protocol the girls inside the tanks slowly start moving while the liquid inside the tank slowly drains before eventually opening their eyes.
Meanwhile at Chiba Academy Rooftop
On the rooftop of Chiba Academy are four girls dressed in the academy's school uniform, all resting after fighting for their lives through the academy halls. The one closest to the edge of the building's roof is looking down as she seems to be trying to find someone or something. The girl next to her took notice of her behavior and decided to ask her what she was doing.
???: Subject Mei, are you okay?
Mei: Huh? Yeah I'm fine Bronya-chan.
Bronya: Subject Mei looks like she's trying to find someone or something.
Mei: *Sigh* I am. I'm trying to see if I can find my childhood friend from up here.
???: Mei, I know you miss them. I do too.
Mei: Anyways, Lucia-chan were you able to find a way to get out of the city?
Lucia: Nothing so far, but I might have found a way to get off this building at least.
Bronya: Da Bronya assumes that Subject Lucia refers to the emergency stairs on the side of the building.
Lucia: Indeed, we can use the emergency stairs to get off the roof and make our way toward that apartment building for the night.
Mei: Sounds good to me Lucia-chan.
Lucia: *blush* It's nothing.
Bronya: Very well, Subject Mei and Subject Lucia should start with the preparations.
With a plan of action determined, Mei and Lucia back away from the edge of the rooftop and start gathering all of their supplies. Once that is done Mei makes her way over to Kiana who is in a large amount of pain due to a leg injury. While Mei is attending to Kiana's wound, Kiana tries to hold in any noises but is unsuccessful due to how painful it is. Lucia walks over to comfort her while Mei bandages her leg.
Kiana: Mei-senpai... My leg, it hurts so bad...
Mei: I know Kiana-chan, just hold still a bit more... and done.
Kiana: Thank you, Mei-senpai.
Mei: Bronya-chan can you carry Kiana?
Bronya: Da Bronya is able to carry Subject Kiana.
After picking up Kiana using Project Bunny Kiana promptly falls asleep due to fatigue while Bronya follows Lucia towards the edge of the rooftop. After a few moments of searching the zombie filled streets they find the apartment building mentioned earlier both of them take notice that leaving the rooftop might be more unlikely than previously thought.
Lucia: That's not good... We might be trapped up here, until night time.
After a moment Mei decides to make her way towards Lucia and Bronya.
Mei: What's the situation Lucia-chan?
Lucia: The streets are crowded with zombies wielding different types of weapons from bows to scythes. We are most likely trapped here due to the courtyard being full of them and us not having enough ammunition.
Bronya: Subject Lucia, Da Bronya suggests a change of plan.
Lucia: What's your suggestion then Bronya?
Bronya: Da Bronya suggests trying to sneak through the hallway that connects the school to the dormitory. There are likely to be less zombies there due to the lack of people being there during school hours.
Mei: That might work, and how is Kiana doing?
Bronya: Subject Kiana is currently asleep due to physical and mental fatigue gained from the fighting we did earlier and her injury. Bronya suggests stopping by the infirmary of the school to get some medical supplies, especially painkillers.
Lucia: Good idea, now let's move while we still have daylight.
After confirming that Bronya and Mei are good to go the four girls start moving towards the school dormitories while trying to be as quiet as possible so as to not draw attention to them. Thankfully the infirmary is on the way so there is no need for detours. Once they arrive Lucia and Bronya go inside to search for the much needed supplies while Mei stands guard just outside the door.
Lucia: Hmm, I wonder where they store the medical supplies.
Bronya: Hmm, Da Bronya might remember where they keep it.
Walking towards a cabinet, Bronya takes a key out and opens it. Inside the cabinet are five bottles of painkillers, some sterile bandages, three bottles of Isopropyl alcohol, two bottle of hydrogen peroxide, a full first aid kit, and some cotton.
Bronya: There isn't much but it will have to work.
Looking around for a few more minutes and finding nothing of use, Bronya puts the supplies into her bag. Once that is done Lucia and Bronya exit the infirmary only to see several bodies of their zombified classmates on the floor and Mei breathing heavily with sparks of lightning coming off her. Hearing them approach she turns her head and reveals that her eyes are glowing a vibrant purple before promptly passing out. Lucia quickly catches her before she hits to the ground.
Lucia: I wonder what happened while we were in there.
Lucia carries Mei while walking with Bronya (who is still carrying Kiana) toward the dorms in order to rest. When they arrive the two of them enter one of the rooms before putting Kiana and Mei on the sofa. Lucia and Bronya make sure the room is secured before eventually leaning against the sofa and falling asleep exhausted. Suddenly in the middle of the night Mei wakes with a start and moves off the couch and instead lays down on Lucia.
Mei: "I don't know where you are Alpha, but when I find you. You will be mine."
(Editors note: As in 'you are mine to kill' or a 'I will make you mine' context?)

A/n: Mei calls the other Lucia (the older one not the youngest check bio) by Alpha instead of Lucia to not confuse both Lucia. Yes, I made both Lucia twins.
