He Who Feels Guilt [Honkai: Star Rail]

Narrator's Pov

"Touch the light of the AMBER, Trailblazer, see if your will can attract THEIR gaze"

A torrent of fire accompanied by a bright light shined in the air, Stelle tightly gripped something I'm her hand, the fire dissapeared as she fell on the hand of the Engine of Creation, with a slightly confused expression she saw at her right hand, now holding a Black Lance with an Amber tip, she then frowned and griped the handle of the lance, some fire surrounded it, she then looked up towards Cocolia and pointed her lance towards the transformed woman.

"I lived bitch!"

The Engine of Creation slowly put his hand on the ground, now completely under Stelle's control, the group slowly joined the girl as she stepped down from the huge robot's hand.

"Impossible, it can't be" Cocolia spoke looking towards Stelle

"The Will of the Preservation's as made its choice" Bronya spoke as she stood besides Stelle.

"You know nothing of the plight of this world!"

Cocolia rose up her hand, various Ice Lances appeared at her sides, all of then pointing towards the group, all the spears were quickly thrown towards the group, Stelle rose up the lance, instinctively using it as a shield to guard herself, this made an Amber shield appear before them blocking the Ice Lances, the woman waved her hand and 4 Ice Stakes appeared on the ground.

"Mother, even if we are doomed to Destruction..." Bronya started as the shield before them dissapeared.

The group stood side by side, Stelle pointed the lance again at the woman, fire coming out of the Amber tip of the weapon, Cocolia simply waved her hands making various Ice Lances appear behind her.

"We'll go hand by hand walking into the darkness" Bronya looked up at her mother and then raised her rifle towards her. "The destiny of Belobog is in our hands now! We cannot lose this fight!"

"There's nothing left for our successors....only despair"

"If only I... hadn't activated the Stellaron"

"We could've fought better, pushed away the Antimatter Legion without the Stellaron"

"But I fell to its temptation...and look what it brought us, nothing but Ice and Death"

"My weapon is now in the hands of someone fit for the Will of Preservation...someone who managed to attract THEIR gaze"

Ryan gave a step forward as he took off the ornament of his hair, letting his long white hair fall down, he put the ornament in one of the pocket inside of his Kimono, the mask materializing in his face as he fell on one knee, he looked slightly up, seeing an unfamiliar woman in front of him.

"But there's something else I can offer to aid in this fight..."

The woman slowly offered her hand to Ryan, the white-haired boy looked up at her through the mask, he kept himself in silence, a hand grasping his chest tightly as the voice of the woman kept echoing inside of his head.

"I, Alissa Rand, offer you this feeling that consumes my heart..."

Slowly, Ryan let his chest go and instead rose up his hand to grab the woman's hand, as their hands grabbed each other in a tight grip, the woman held a sad smile, as Ryan slowly stood up, and his form started to change.

"Take my Guilt...my strength...and use it"

"Aeon of Guilt"

Serval rolled to the side dodging an Ice Lance thrown at her, Cocolia immediately turned around and waved her hand to create a small wall of Ice to stop various missiles from Svarog, she then floated to the side to avoid the arrows shot by March.

"Cocolia! Stop this! The Stellarons can't create anything!" Serval screamed as she ran around the woman with her guitar.

"Serval, you know nothing of this gift." With a wave of her hand she threw Ice Spikes towards Serval.

"I know enough to understand that it's lying to you!" She likewise waved her hand playing her guitar letting out a burst of lighting that destroyed the multiple Ice Spikes.

"You were once my dear friend..." Cocolia did a small stop before talking again. "But you don't have a place in the new world, none of you do"

This time one of the Ice Stakes threw a wave of Ice directly at Serval who got distracted by their short exchange of words, but before she got hit, Svarog quickly arrived and picked up the blonde woman before jumping away to dodge the attack, he landed in the ground and put Serval down.

"Serval Landau, we need your full focus on this fight"

"I know! I-...I know, thanks, Svarog" the woman let out a sigh before looking at the robot.

"And you...faulty machine"

Svarog looked towards Cocolia, his red eye glowed as he started to run towards the woman shooting beam after beam from his repulsor blast, Cocolia moved to the sides dodging the various blasts and then two of the Ice Stakes glowed throwing various Ice Spikes towards the robot who quickly threw some missiles from his back colliding with the spikes and blowing up leaving a smoke cloud between him and Cocolia.

"You have forgotten your purpose"

"I have Not"

From the cloud of smoke, Svarog emerged right in front of her, she threw an Ice Lance at the robot but he simply spun un the air, dodging the attack and sliding his hand across the lance, then he closed his other hand in a fist, and with a quick movement he managed to punch Cocolia directly on the face.

The woman let out a growl and grew Ice all around her, pushing back Svarog who returned towards the group.

"Everyone stay back!" Stelle raised her voice towards her companions.

The trailblazer raised the lance in her hand, the weapon glowed and the Engine of Creation slowly rose up its hand before throwing a punch down against Cocolia and the Ice Stakes, the transformed woman quickly flew out of the area letting the huge robot strike against the ground, instantly breaking the Ice Stakes.

"Now! Let's go!" Stelle growled and immediately ran towards Cocolia.

The transformed woman let out a growl and threw Ice at the arm of the Engine of Creation, freezing the hand of the robot to the ground to stop it from throwing another attack like that one, she then floated slightly to the side to dodge a wind bullet from Bronya, who alongside March started to throw attack after attack towards her as distraction.

As Cocolia dodged the attacks from March and Bronya, Svarog ran around her starting to shoot his repulsor blast many times, Cocolia formed a wall of Ice to stop the attacks from the two ranged girls, she then threw 2 Ice Lances at Svarog who managed to break one of them with his repulsor blast but received the other one on his left arm, this one started to slowly freeze so he quickly backed off, Cocolia attempted to go after the robot but she had to quickly turn around and grab one of the Ice Lances behind her using It to block an attack from Dan Heng.

She pushed the spear of the boy backwards leaving him open for an attack, but before Cocolia could attack Dan Heng, Seele appeared in front of her and launched a sweep with her scythe, Cocolia backed off but the blade still made a small cut on her stomach, she growled and threw a wave of Ice towards the two but Stelle fell from above with her Fire Lance hitting the ice and completely melting it with a pilar of fire that erupted in front of her.

Svarog managed to break the ice around his arm and started to run at Cocolia, Serval touched her guitar letting some purple lightning fall around Cocolia before a bigger one fell on her, Cocolia let out a small scream before moving away, seeing herself completely surrounded, as Bronya and March joined the group, all of them got ready to attack the woman.

"Enough!"

She sent a wave of Ice and cold all around her, pushing the entire group backwards, she then rose up one of her hands, a golden glow on her hand as the sky lightened up in a golden light, the clouds were pushed aside as a huge meteor made of spikes started to make its way down towards the group.

"Everyone! Behind me!" Stelle screamed as she tightened the grip on the Lance.

The girl positioned the lance over her head, letting an amber shield appear over her, the group got behind Stelle and the girl got ready to fortify the shield if needed be...but it wasn't necessary.

A white blur jumped from behind them directly towards the meteor, the white blur went right through the meteor, from the hole made by the white blur, various chains started to come out completely surrounding the meteor crushing it completely making the remains fall from the sky onto the ground without causing any damage and then the blur immediately went straight down falling on the ground on his feet.

He had short shoulder length white hair with a pair of Fox ears coming out of the top of his head, he wore a sleeveless Kimono shirt, letting them see that his left arm seemed to be completely made of Ice while the right arm seemed to he made of Blood, the Kimono shirt had a pattern of Hand marks made with blood, on the lower half of his body he wore a light blue pair of shorts, his legs were human, he was barefoot but had a pair of shackles on his ankles as well as on his wrists, the four shackles had connected the remains of broken chains, his face was also completely covered by a mask with the design of a Kitsuné.

"Is that...Ryan?" March looked at the person who looked back at them.

"Why are you all standing still, aren't we fighting?" Ryan spoke looking back towards his companions.

"You!"

Cocolia immediately threw one of the Ice Lances towards Ryan, but he quickly lifted his left hand, stopping the weapon with the palm of his Ice Arm but still being pushed backwards by the force behind the throw, he waved his had changing the trajectory of the weapon making it fall and explode close to the group.

"Hey! We're back here you idiot!" Seele raised her voice.

"Sorry, I'm still getting used to this"

Ryan looked at Cocolia and immediately started to run towards her, the chains on the shackle of his left arm seemed to start growing and expanding, Cocolia immediately started to throw lance after lance towards the boy who quickly started dodge the attacks, using the chain of his left wrist to hit and change the trajectory of the weapons, he reached Cocolia and jumped throwing a kick towards the woman, she blocked the kick with one of her lances, but then a white fox tail came out from the back of Ryan's waist and the strength behind the kick grew forcing her to drop the lance, the boy quickly used the momentum to spin around and throw another kick, this time giving it directly to her face making her recoil backwards.

Ryan also backed off after landing on the ground, Cocolia growled and grabbed one of her lances waving it and throwing a wave of Ice towards the boy, Ryan stood still and then got his left hand pointing at the wave of ice approaching him, a thin layer of ice appeared in front of Ryan and stopoed Cocolia's attack completely, he then prepared his left hand an inch away from the stopped Ice and giving it a quick punch making the Ice grow on the opposite side directly towards Cocolia, she quickly used her Lance to pierce the ice completely, looking at Ryan she let our a growl.

"What are you?" She asked.

"Unfortunately, we both know what I am right now"

"Aeon..."

Cocolia threw another Ice Lance towards Ryan, but this time Stelle got in the middle hitting the projectile with her own Lance, breaking it to pieces.

"Let's go!" Ordered the girl as she ran towards Cocolia

Ryan ran behinds Stelle, the group behind them quickly following, Seele dissapeared in her purple glow, and both March and Bronya started to attack, shooting wind bullets and ice arrows towards Cocolia, the woman started to weave between the attacks but then was forced to dodged backwards to avoid a lightning thrown by Serval, Dan Heng catched up to Stelle and Ryan, the three of them separated, Dan Heng and Ryan running around Cocolia while Stelle jumped directly at the woman, the raccoon girl lunged her Lance directly at her.

Cocolia grabbed the Lance with both hands to stop it from hitting her chest, she had to soon let one of her hands free to stop Dan Heng's spear, but this left her completely defenceless ass Ryan managed to kick her directly on the stomach, throwing her behind, she recomposed herself but a purple lighting fell on her, she created a floating Ice wall on top of her tl stop the lighting, but then various missiles hit her back making her stumble forwards, Seele appeared right in front of her and threw an ascending sweep sign her scythe making a cut across her torso, Cocolia grunted and creating an Ice Lance she tried to stab Seele, a wind bullet hit her face directly distracting her enough to let Seele dissapear again, the woman growled towards her daughter and decided to fly up, spreading her arms to the side.

Various Ice Lances started to appear to her sides, and said lances started to fly directly towards the group, Stelle groaned and rose up her own Lance, letting an amber shield appear on top of them stopping the lances one by one, while this happened, Ryan slowly rose up 2 fingers, apparently starting to concentrate as 3 more fox tails came out from the back of his waist, having now 4 tails.

Stelle's amber shield started to slowly crack, making her growl, before the shield could break, a small green magic circle appeared under Ryan's feet, and everything started to slowly lose their colors, the movements of every single thing slowing down bit by bit until everything seemed to completely stop, Ryan let out a short sigh from the other side of his mask and started to move, jumping through the Amber shield making the chains of his shackled extend, he started to quickly use them as whips to destroy the lances one by one before they hit Stelle's shield, all that while he used said lances as steps, jumping from lance to lance reaching the completely stopped Cocolia, he jumped towards her after breaking the last Lance and rose up one of his legs, ready to give her an axe kick.

Everything started to move again, the shield cracked on the verge of breaking, everyone looked up but only managed to saw Ryan kicking Cocolia's head throwing her down towards the ground, her body hitting the platform rising a small cloud of smoke, Cocolia slowly rose up from the small crater her body did but immediately tried to defend herself as Stelle violently thrusted her Lance at her, a pilar of fire erupted were Cocolia was, Stelle slid her feet across the ground and looked back towards the pilar of fire, Cocolia came out of it weakly but was immediately pinched on the stomach by Svarog, who quickly gave her two more punches before kicking her face throwing her up.

Seele appeared on top of her, she started to quickly appear and dissapar all around her, throwing slice after slice to her body before hitting her with the blunt side of her weapon throwing her again at the floor, before Cocolia could react, a shower of Ice Bunnies fell directly on her making a cloud of smoke around her, she created an Ice Lance and swiped it to blow away the smoke, she turned to the side and saw Dan Heng ready to throw a stab at her, she got ready to throw her own attack at him, but a purple lighting fell directly on the tip of Dan Heng's weapon, coating the blade of the spear in lighting as he lunged his weapon at her, she tried to stop him using her own weapon, but the Spear ended up piercing her lance letting out a lighting explosion that threw her backwards rolling on the ground.

"This...this can't be"

She slowly stood up, looking at the group...but two people were missing, she gelt a breeze behind her and then slowly turned back, seeing Bronya standing behind her, her rifle pointing directly at her as a concentrated wind bullet glowed on the cannon of her rifle, Bronya pulled the trigger and the wind bullet hit Cocolia directly, letting out a strong gust of wind that made everyone back or Slightly, Cocolia stumbled backwards, the transformation that the Stellaron had given to her slowly fading away while Bronya just slowly straightened herself, softly hitting the ground with her weapon.

"Bronya!"

Cocolia tried to reach out to Bronya to attack her, but Ryan fell directly between both of them, with 2 fingers up he made a creen magic circle under Cocolia, slowing down her movements with time magic, then 3 more tails came out from his waist, and his Ice hand closed in a punch, slowly approaching his hand to the woman before suddenly accelerating his punch hitting Cococlia directly on the stomach.

This punch made an expansive wave, making the group back off covering themselves as a golden glow briefly blinded them, Cocolia fell to the ground, her transformation completely gone, as well as her left arm, she slowly hugged her chest with her remaining arm, a golden glow growing on her chest as she grunted.

"The Stellaron! I-it promised us the future"

"The Stellaron in her is growing unstable!" Dan Heng screamed as he backed off.

"It's what happened to Stelle in the station!" March looked at Cocolia a bit scared.

"Cocolia! Let the Stellaron out, it'll kill you!" Serval screamed as she approached.

Before Serval could get closer, a golden barrier surrounded Cocolia completely, the glow on her chest growing as she grunted loudly.

"Mother! Please stop!"

Bronya approached and hit the barrier using the bayonet of her weapon, trying to at least make a dent in the barrier, but her weapon seemed to not even do a scratch on the barrier, Seele grabbed Bronya and pulled on her arm to get her away, from the barrier.

"Mother! Just stop all of this! Please!" She screamed towards Cocolia as Seele dragged her backwards.

"It'll engulf everything! Our future..."

"No."

Ryan's Ice Hand hit the barrier, the sharp fingers slowly burying on the barrier as he slowly pierced onto the glowing wall that separated Cocolia from the rest, eventually, Ryan's arm completely went through the barrier Cocolia had made.

"Ryan!" Stelle screamed as she ran towards him.

"You're not escaping this easily..."

Ryan pushed himself further, completely penetrating the golden barrier, his mask looking directly down at Cocolia, who returned the gaze, her eyes looking up at the mask as the glow on her chest grew more and more, she let out a small smile, and then a golden light started to completely engulf the insides of the barrier making everyone cover themselves because of the string light and strong force that had started to push them backwards.

"Tell me...Cocolia Rand...the Stellaron consumed your mind"

"...."

"But has consumed your heart too?"

"I'm...not sure"

"Do you wish to know the answer to that?"

"I don't know"

"If you could do all of this all over again, would you do it?"

"...."

"One last question...Do you feel any Guilt for your actions?"

The glow slowly died out, the group looked in front of them...the barrier slowly dissapeared and Cocolia's unconscious body fell to the ground, Ryan stood over her, holding in his left hand the Stellaron that was now almost completely surrounded in chains.

Ryan's form slowly cracked and dissapeared, showing his usual appearance with the exception of his hair that was completely loose instead of the normal ponytail, the golden veins had now dissapeared completely, Ryan looked at the Stellaron, and then slowly turned around, looking at the group behind him, before looking down at the blonde woman completely unconscious on the floor,

"It's over..."

I...took my time with this one, so many ideas I wanted to do, it took me a lot of time to finally decide how I'd end this fight, I'm not sure if people liked the outcome, but this is personally what I like the most out of the ideas I had-

Anyways, let's hope I don't take 2 my months to do chapter 32...
