God Of Shadows

Chapter 6: Chapter 6: The Talks

I explained to Odin what I had said to Heimdall. He was shocked to be sure, he had heard from Frigga about how powerful I was with illusion magic and he found it plausible that i could have accidentally discovered about Hela whilst being stuck in Frigga's illusion.

"Good." He said with finality.

"Good?" I asked.

"It's just as well that you know about Hela, as my second-born, and the future king, you would know of this sooner than later and i believe you are the best to be able to fight against Hela after my death. After your explanation i now know that while you share a divinity with Hela, yours is different than hers. She was given the divinity of death after she had helped me in my misguided mission to make Asgard what it is today and all who she had killed relishing in death for years. Whereas you can directly call upon the souls of the dead and make them into your "Shadows" as you call them. This makes you an ideal combatant for her. I will need you to increase your power even faster than you have been doing to one day being able to fight Hela." Odin explained stressing second-born sadly.

"As you wish father. With my new mission, I would request that I be allowed to travel the universe, outside the protection of the Nine Realms to build my strength and my Army." I requested.

"You want my permission? Very well, you have it." My father replied as he sent me to join the feast to celebrate my victory, while also telling me to have a guard fetch my mother to make sure that he explains the situation to Frigga.

I nodded as I left to join the warriors in our revelry. Soon i will be begin my journey through the stars and the beginning of the growth of my powers and my Army of Darkness.

(Few Hours Later: Throne Room)

"My Son. I have selected a ship that is capable to travel throughout the universe, for you to begin your mission." Odin said as he showed me a hologram of one of our ships.

"Thank you Father, i would like to give my goodbyes to my brothers and my friends." i replied to which Odin nodded and gestured that i could leave.

__________

(Training Grounds)

I had went o the one place i was guaranteed to find at least one of my siblings and my warrior friends. i walked into the training grounds and saw my brother Thor sparing with Lady Sif.

"Thor, Lady Sif." I said as i greeted them.

"Brother! I heard about your battle on Ria, it was a wondrous display if the rumors are to be believed. I believe you were able to hide your strength quite well." Thor replied with excitement and i regalled him with the tales of my battle.

Thor was my little brother and I knew that he looked up to me due to my skills as a warrior, and he wasn't the only one. Loki was always asking me to tutor him on Enchanting magic and give him pointers to improve his Illusion Magic. I did what I could, but i couldn't stop their hero worship of me. The only person that Thor looked up to more, was Odin, our father. Loki was actually more difficult as he didn't have a really good male role model as odin was more a warrior than a magician, so to have someone who liked magic as much as he did to look up to, it made for a very close relationship between us.

"I would like to have words with you and Loki, meet me at my room in about an hour. As for this moment, may I steal the Lady Sif away from you?" I explained then teased Thor and caused Sif to blush very very slightly.

I don't know if the barely visible blush was due to how well she was at controlling her emotions, or due to the fact that she was trying to remain stoic in front of me. I still think that she likes Thor, but i have noticed certain moments where she seemed to get nervous when speaking to me or speaking about me. I suppose i have this whole mysterious vibe as i don't interact with others all that much but i am very Loquacious when i am actually with people.

"What is it you need of me your highness?" Sif said.

"Please, Sif, we are friends aren't we? You can do away with the formalities." i replied jokingly.

"Of course, i always forget. You can be quite intimidating at times you know?" Sif replied with a joking tone at the end.

"Alright. What i wanted to speak with you about is that i will be leaving Asgard for an unknown amount of time to travel outside of the Nine realms and see the larger Universe. I wanted to say goodbye and that i will miss you." I explained.

"You'll miss me? I doubt that, but i will admit that things will not be the same without you here. Who else will be able to reign in your brother when he is being... well, you know." Sif said with a grin.

"Hahaha, you might be right, but i trust you will look out for him." i said with a smile.

"Of course, Erebos. I will do my utmost." Sif said as she gave me a hug and nodded to me in affirmation.

"Please extend my wishes to The Warriors Three. They will need all the help they can get without us there to pick up the slack." I said as i began to walk off.

"Very well, hope you have a fruitful journey!" Sif shouted after me as i had fully left the training grounds and went to my room to wait for my brothers.

___________

(About an hour later at my room)

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Come in." i said as i used telekinesis to open the door, to be greeted by my brothers.
