Genshin Impact: The Crit Archon

Chapter 51: Lumine Plan's

Lumine was seating on her throne, as she was waiting for her report her attack on Mondstandt didn't go well but that was expected it was more a of test and to lore out her brother which she was successful at but right now she was planning as an Abyss mage then came

Lumine then looked at the Abyss mage. "You are here what si that you need".

The abyss mage looked at her as he spoke. "My lady, we have located something".

Lumine looked at the mage. "What is it be quick, or else".

The abyss mage went back a bit. "Yes my lady, we have located Abyssal enegry".

Lumines ears perked up as she looked at the Abyss mage. "No where is that".

The abyss mage looked at her as they spoke. "It is located in The Chasm".

Lumine looked at the mage a smirk was on her face. "So in Liyue I see, another place i haven't been in a while".

She got of her throne, her dark dress moving in the wind, the crown I hear head was put down as he pulled out her sword, as she looked at the Abyss mage.

Lumine looked at the Abyss mage. "Proper, we are leaving, also no need to go big, small is enough".

The abyss mage looked at her. "But the Yaksa stops us".

Lumine just looked at them. "He can try, he can even call for his father the geo Archon and thing won't make a difference".

Lumine then saw her system working.

[ It seems like your planning something host ]

Lumine looked at her Villain system as she spoke mentally. "Non of your business just keep giving me power".

[ As you which my lady ]

Lumine exited the chamber, her Abyss mage followers trailing behind her. The dim glow of the Abyss illuminated their path as they made their way to the portal. The air around her felt heavy with an ominous energy, but Lumine embraced it, feeling the power coursing through her veins.

As they prepared to leave, another Abyss mage approached hastily, bowing deeply. "My lady, there is something else. The Tianquan of Liyue, Ningguang, seems to have increased patrols near The Chasm. She may suspect something."

Lumine chuckled softly, her voice laced with confidence. "Let her suspect. Let her prepare. It will only make their fall more satisfying."

The mage hesitated before adding, "And... there have been whispers that your brother may be heading to Liyue as well."

Lumine's eyes darkened, her grip tightening around her sword. "Good. Let him come. He will see just how far I've gone and how much he's been left behind."

Her system chimed in again, its tone neutral yet somewhat amused.

[Host, do you wish to unlock the 'Subjugate Liyue' questline? Rewards include increased Abyssal energy, unique weaponry, and additional subordinates.]

Lumine responded mentally, her smirk returning. "Unlock it. Let the games begin."

[Quest unlocked: Subjugate Liyue - Phase One: Secure the Abyssal Energy at The Chasm. Reward: Abyssal Crown Fragment.]

She glanced at her mages, who awaited her command. "Prepare the troops. We leave immediately. This time, we won't test—we will claim what is rightfully ours."

As she stepped into the portal leading to The Chasm, her mind raced with plans. She would not just claim the Abyssal energy; she would shake the foundations of Liyue itself. And if her brother stood in her way, he would be reminded of why she was chosen to lead the Abyss.

The portal closed behind her, leaving a faint ripple of Abyssal energy in its wake. The stage was set, and Lumine was ready to play her part as the orchestrator of chaos.

They came out of the Portal, Lumine was wearing a hood and mask, as she looked around, she saw a few guard's they tryed stop her but she just ended tbem, they tryed to screen but there was sound in that night as she walked.

As then she killed another one as she was making close to her location of the Abyssal enegry, her Abyssal guards were by her side as they made the way as then she saw a Guard who was running to report she then stabbed him.

The guard felt a sword got to his chest as blood fell down as he in his last breath he called. "X..Ia..O".

He soon died, as Lumine looked at him, It had been a while sense she took a life, originally at the start of the travel her talking a life was something she would never do but now, it didn't matter she just needs to make her way to the cave as then she jumped out of the wave as her Abyssal guards as well, as she saw a particular spear, as the he was Xiao.

Xiao eyes landed on Lumine, the Adeptus eyes then looked at the many dead body, as he looked back at Lumine.

Xiao looked at her. "Who are you, and why have you come here".

Lumine spoke to him as this was first time she had meet him as well. "So one my Liyue saver came in person to great me".

Xiao eyes narrows at her. "Are you one of those Fautie"

She titled he head as she looked at him. "Oh it is funny, but no I am not one of them".

Xiao's eyes narrowed further as he shifted into a defensive stance, his spear glowing faintly in the moonlight. "If not the Fatui, then who are you? And why have you taken so many lives tonight?"

Lumine pulled back her hood slightly, revealing her mask. Her golden eyes glinted menacingly beneath it. "Who I am does not matter to you, Adeptus. What should concern you is that you are in my way."

Xiao gripped his spear tighter, his voice calm but firm. "You have spilled blood in Liyue. That alone is reason enough for me to stop you."

Lumine chuckled softly, a sound that sent shivers down the spines of her Abyss guards. "Stop me? Oh, Xiao, you have no idea what you're up against." She motioned for her Abyss mages to step back. "Stay out of this. I'll handle him myself."

The mages hesitated but obeyed, retreating into the shadows.

Xiao leapt into action, his spear glowing as he charged at her with blinding speed. Lumine barely moved, deflecting his attack with her sword in a single, fluid motion. Sparks flew as their weapons clashed, the sound echoing through the cavernous Chasm.

"You're fast," Lumine admitted, her voice devoid of emotion. "But speed alone won't save you."

Xiao didn't respond. He vanished in a flurry of wind, reappearing behind her to deliver a swift strike. Lumine spun gracefully, blocking his spear and countering with a powerful slash of Abyssal energy. Xiao dodged, but the energy sliced through the ground, leaving a smouldering scar.

"You're strong," Xiao conceded, his tone grudging. "But why do you align yourself with the Abyss? What have they promised you?"

Lumine laughed coldly. "Promised me? They gave me the truth. Something your Archon would never understand."

Their fight intensified, the air around them crackling with elemental energy. Xiao summoned an Anemo shield to block her relentless attacks, but each strike from Lumine grew heavier, her Abyssal energy overwhelming.

"You're not just anyone," Xiao muttered, his breaths coming faster. "Who are you really?"

Lumine paused, lowering her sword slightly as she locked eyes with him. "I am the one who will reshape this world. And you, Xiao, are just another obstacle in my path."

Before Xiao could react, Lumine unleashed a powerful surge of Abyssal energy, forcing him back. The impact sent him crashing into a nearby boulder.

Xiao groaned, struggling to stand. His vision blurred as he looked up to see Lumine towering over him. She raised her sword, ready to strike the final blow.

"Goodbye, Adeptus."

But just as she brought her blade down, a burst energy stopped her, As Lumine was going to end Xiao, she was stopped by a burst of water energy as she was sent back, as there standing was SA very angry Bonanus.

Xiao looked up to see Bonanus. "Bonanus, you came".

Bonanus eyss the looker at Xiao as she smiled at him. "As you sister I should be protecting you".

Hearing that word sister made Lumine mad, as she looked at Bonanus as she saw the female Yaksa it didn't make any sense to her

Lumine looked at her. "How is there another one, from what I know the green hair one is the only one left".

She looked at her Abyss mages, who looked back at her as they had face that said we don't know either

Bonanus stepped forward, her eyes glowing with an intense water-based energy as she prepared herself for the fight. "It seems you don't know everything, Lumine," she said, her voice calm but laced with hidden anger. "The Yaksha is not simply gone, and you have underestimated the bond we share."

Xiao, still shaken from his previous encounter, stood up slowly, his eyes wary. "Bonanus, you're here... I knew you'd come."

Bonanus smiled, but it was a dangerous smile. "You shouldn't have had to fight alone. And you," she turned her gaze back to Lumine, her eyes burning with determination, "you should know better than to mess with someone you don't fully understand."

Lumine's eyes narrowed as she sized up the new Yaksha before her. The water around Bonanus swirled, like a tempest ready to be unleashed, as Lumine made quick Theory for this. "Another Yaksha, born from the Abyss? A new weapon for the Archon? How quaint," Lumine sneered, though her tone was edged with suspicion.

Bonanus's eyes glinted with fierce pride. "I am no one's weapon," she declared, her voice rising in strength. "I am Bonanus, a Yaksha born from the love and protection of the people, not from the shadows you dwell in."

Lumine took a step forward, her sword raised, and her smile was cold. "You think you can stop me? This world is changing, and you're nothing but a relic of a past I am determined to leave behind."

Bonanus's expression hardened, and she summoned a massive surge of water energy, creating a fierce barrier between them. "You're wrong," she said, her voice quiet but resolute. "It's you who's forgotten what truly matters. The past, the present, and the future—they're all linked. And you'll find that no matter how hard you fight, you can't destroy everything that binds us together."

Lumine hesitated for a moment, clearly frustrated by this new force standing in her way. "Then, let's see just how much your bonds can protect you," she sneered, her hand gripping her sword tighter.

With a sudden movement, Lumine charged, sending a wave of Abyssal energy crashing toward Bonanus. The water Yaksha raised her arms, and a mighty torrent of water formed a shield, absorbing the energy as it collided with her. The sound of clashing forces echoed throughout the cavern.

Bonanus didn't let up. With a powerful wave of her hands, she sent a massive wave of water surging toward Lumine. The Abyssal mage was forced to leap back, barely avoiding the full impact of the attack. Her hood and mask fluttered wildly in the oncoming water as she quickly regained her balance, her eyes burning with rage.

"Enough!" Lumine shouted, summoning more Abyssal energy to retaliate. Her attacks were brutal and relentless, but Bonanus was swift, moving with the grace of a seasoned fighter. The water she controlled swirled and danced around her, defending and striking with equal ferocity.

Xiao watched from the sidelines, too injured to fight but relieved that Bonanus had come to his aid. "Bonanus, please... You don't have to do this. Let me handle it."

Bonanus glanced at him for a brief moment, a silent understanding passing between them. "I won't let you face this alone, Xiao," she said quietly, her voice full of determination. "Not this time."

Lumine, growing increasingly frustrated, summoned a dark vortex of energy, preparing to unleash her most powerful attack. "You don't understand. You're only delaying the inevitable."

But Bonanus was prepared. With a single, decisive movement, she channeled the water around her into a gigantic tsunami that surged toward Lumine. The Abyssal energy she summoned collided with the water, causing a massive explosion that echoed through the cave.

For a brief moment, there was nothing but silence.

Bonanus stood, breathing heavily, her body glowing with the power of the water around her. "You may have power, Lumine," she said quietly, "but you lack something that will ultimately be your downfall: understanding."

Lumine stood amidst the dust and chaos, her breathing shallow. Her expression was one of pure fury. "This is not over."

Bonanus held her ground, her expression resolute. "No, Lumine, it's not. But it's not over for the reason you think. We fight for something greater than power, something that binds us together. And as long as we have that, you can never truly defeat us."

Lumine sneered one last time, her mask hiding the bitterness that had risen in her chest. "We'll see about that."

With a flick of her hand, she vanished into the shadows, leaving the cavern empty once more.

Xiao sighed, exhaustion weighing on him, and turned to Bonanus. "Thank you," he said quietly. "I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't shown up."

Bonanus smiled softly. "You're my brother, Xiao. I would do anything to protect you."

Lumine then got up. "Screw this, this is not worth the effort".

As she opend portal, as she and her forced retried both Xiao and Bonanus tryed to follow but they just faged through it, as Lumine was just back using some healing magic.

Lumine just say in her throne. "I wonder, if she can made our of the abyss, should I make my own monster".

Lumine sat back on her throne, her eyes narrowed in contemplation as she absently traced her fingers over the dark, abyssal energy that crackled around her. The encounter with Bonanus had been frustrating—too many things were left unresolved, too many uncertainties. Her plans had been disrupted, and the Yaksha had proven to be a formidable adversary, not easily overpowered by her usual tactics.

But that only made her more curious. The Abyss had always been her domain, the source of her power, and yet here was Bonanus, a being created from the very forces she had come to control, a Yaksha born of water and loyalty, a stark contrast to the monsters she had known. Perhaps it's time to craft something new, Lumine mused silently, her gaze lingering on the portal she had just closed.

Her thoughts were interrupted when a soft hum echoed from the edges of her throne room—a familiar presence was approaching. A small smile tugged at Lumine's lips as she heard the distant footsteps.

"Is everything going according to plan, my lady?" a voice asked from the shadows.

Lumine didn't have to turn to know it was the Abyss Mage, his presence ever constant in the background. "Not exactly," she replied coldly, her eyes gleaming with a quiet intensity. "But perhaps it's time to adjust our methods. The Abyss has many depths, after all. And what if I could create something more... controllable?"

The Abyss Mage paused, sensing the change in her tone. "You wish to create another monster, my lady?" he asked cautiously.

Lumine's lips curled into a slight grin. "Not just any monster. A creation born from the Abyss, but one that bends to my will, not its own. A new weapon, one that can rival even the Yaksha. But I need something different, something more potent. Something that can overcome the obstacles that even the Abyss itself cannot."

The Abyss Mage bowed his head slightly, his voice hesitant but filled with curiosity. "And what will you do with this new creation, my lady?"

Lumine's eyes sparkled as she leaned back in her throne, her fingers idly tracing the dark energies that swirled around her. "I'll see where it takes me. Perhaps it will be a test, or perhaps it will be the final key in my quest to reshape this world."

The Mage was silent for a moment before nodding. "As you wish, my lady. Should I begin preparations for the ritual?"

Lumine's eyes glowed with malevolent energy as she glanced toward the Abyss Mage. "Yes. But make sure to include a fail-safe. I want this creation to be loyal to me, no matter what. I will not repeat the mistakes of the past."

The Abyss Mage, sensing her intensity, nodded solemnly. "Understood, my lady. I will begin immediately."

As he left, Lumine's mind raced with possibilities. The Abyss held many secrets, and it was time she unlocked a few more of them. Bonanus had proven to be a challenge, but she would not allow anyone to stand in her way. This world, with all its fractured alliances and enemies, needed a new force—one that would bow to her, and only her.

Lumine's hands clenched into fists. It's time to make my own monster, she thought to herself. A creature born from the very darkness I command, one with no will but mine.

She could already see it in her mind—a monstrous, powerful being with the ability to reshape everything, something that could tear through any obstacle, even a Yaksha. The idea filled her with a sense of anticipation. She would show them all. No one, not even Bonanus, could stand against the forces she was about to unleash.

Her laugh echoed softly through the room, as the first step in her new plan began to unfold.
