Genshin Impact: The Crit Archon

Chapter 21: Story's of past

(Sense last Ch I didn't go to much detail for the fight this Ch I will)

As the battle between Aether's group and the Fatui agents intensified, the cavern's walls echoed with the sounds of clashing steel and magical energy. Aether's use of his magecraft had given the team a significant advantage, but the Fatui agents were not to be underestimated.

Aether, wielding the crimson red spear Gae Bolg, moved with precision and grace, each thrust and parry enhanced by the spear's magical properties. The Pyro Agent's attacks were fierce, but Aether's shield held firm, deflecting the fiery onslaught.

Kaeya, with his own copy of Gae Bolg, joined the fray, expertly using the spear to counter the Mirror Maiden's reflections and illusions. His combat style was a fluid mix of offense and defense, his skill with the spear complementing Aether's strategy.

Amber, armed with the Tauropolos bow, kept her distance from the melee. She nimbly nocked arrows, each one imbued with magical energy, targeting the Pyro Agent's weaknesses. Her precise shots found their mark, weakening the enemy's defenses.

Eula, wielding the Balmung sword, took on the Mirror Maiden. Despite the weight of the great sword, Eula moved with surprising agility, her strikes cutting through the Maiden's reflections. Each swing was powerful and deliberate, aiming to break through the illusions and reach the true enemy.

Jean, observing the chaos, provided support where she could. Her combat skills and wind-based abilities helped control the battlefield, fast incoming attacks and providing openings for her allies.

The Mirror Maiden, disoriented by Eula's relentless assault, attempted to create more illusions to confuse her opponents. But the constant pressure from Jean and the rest of the team began to take its toll.

The Pyro Agent, seeing his partner struggle, tried to shift the battle's momentum in his favor. He launched a series of explosive fireballs, aiming to overwhelm Aether and his allies. Despite the chaos, Aether maintained his focus, deflecting the attacks with his shield and countering with well-placed strikes from Gae Bolg.

As the battle continued, the Fatui agents began to show signs of fatigue. The combined might of Aether's team and their enchanted weapons proved to be too much for them. The Mirror Maiden, seeing the tide turning against them, called out to the Pyro Agent.

"Fall back!" she shouted, her voice tinged with frustration. "We can't win this fight!"

The Pyro Agent, though reluctant, complied. The two Fatui agents began to retreat, using their elemental abilities to cover their escape. The team's pursuit was swift, but the Fatui agents managed to slip away into the shadows of the cavern.

With the immediate threat gone, Aether's group regrouped, catching their breath and assessing the situation.

Amber, wiping sweat from her brow, looked at Aether. "Thank you for the weapons. They made a significant difference."

Aether, still holding Gae Bolg, nodded. "You all fought well. The Fatui are dangerous, but we managed to push them back."

Amber, putting away her bow, added, "We need to find out what they were doing here and what their plans are."

Eula, looking around the cavern, noticed a series of markings on the walls. "There might be more to this place than meets the eye. Let's investigate further."

As they examined the markings and explored the cavern, they discovered a hidden chamber. Inside, they found documents and equipment that revealed the Fatui's plans to disrupt Mondstadt's stability.

Aether glanced at the documents, his expression serious. "It seems the Fatui have been working to destabilize Mondstadt from within. We need to bring this information to Jean and the rest of the Knights."

Jean, reading through the documents, nodded in agreement. "This confirms our suspicions. We need to act quickly to counter their plans."

As the team prepared to leave the cavern, Aether and his allies knew that their fight against the Fatui was far from over. But with each victory, they grew stronger and more united, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Kaeya just looked at Gae Bolg. "Did anyone feel like when we were using this weapon we did a lot more damage then we do normally".

Amber looked at Tauropolos remember the same thing happened with the bow aether gave her a while ago. "Yeah wonder why".

Aether started to sweat not ready to tell them about the system, Before he saw the system.

[ Host just lie, you have the skill heaven's defing Good luck, and you would probably crit on lies as well, so don't worry and don't overdo think ]

Kaeya, still examining the Gae Bolg, furrowed his brow. "It's not just about the damage, either. The weapon felt... more responsive, almost like it was amplifying our efforts."

Amber, noting the same sensation with her Tauropolos bow, nodded in agreement. "I had the same feeling. It's as if these weapons are tuned specifically to our abilities."

Aether, sweating slightly and feeling the pressure, cleared his throat. "Well, they are special weapons. I had them crafted with some enhancements to better suit your fighting styles."

Eula, picking up on Aether's discomfort, decided to probe a bit further. "Enhancements? How exactly did you manage that?"

Aether's mind raced, trying to come up with a plausible explanation. "Uh, let's just say I have a few tricks up my sleeve. It's nothing too complicated."

Kaeya, sensing Aether's reluctance, decided to change the topic. "Regardless, we should be grateful for the boost. It definitely made a difference in the fight."

Jean, still reviewing the documents, looked up. "Agreed. Now that we have this information, our priority should be to report back to Mondstadt and prepare for any potential fallout from the Fatui's plans."

As they made their way out of the cavern, Aether couldn't help but feel a mix of relief and anxiety. He knew he had to maintain the secrecy of his system and its abilities, but the pressure was mounting.

Once back in Mondstadt, the group headed straight to the Knights of Favonius headquarters. Jean presented the documents to the higher-ups, and the information quickly set into motion a series of defensive and investigative actions.

Aether, Amber, Kaeya, and Eula debriefed with the other Knights, discussing the implications of the Fatui's plans and the measures needed to safeguard Mondstadt. The atmosphere was tense but focused, with everyone understanding the gravity of the situation.

Later that evening, as the team gathered for a brief respite, Kaeya couldn't resist making a final comment. "So, Aether, any other 'tricks' you want to share with us?"

Aether forced a chuckle, trying to sound casual. "Just remember, it's all about teamwork. We're stronger together."

Eula, noticing Aether's attempt to deflect, decided to let it go for now. "Indeed. And let's keep our focus on the task at hand."

With that, the group settled into a strategy session, preparing for the next steps in their battle against the Fatui. The challenges ahead were formidable, but with their combined strength and the mysterious enhancements to their weapons, they felt more equipped to face whatever lay in store.

Later that night with Aether and Eula, as they put Luminis to sleep.

Eula just looked at the slipping Luminis. "I can't believe he wanted to join us he is just a child".

Aether just looked at her. "Don't forget he is a dragon, but I have questions Eula what your childhood like in Lawrence Clan".

Eula just looked at Aether. "It was bad, my childhood was not that happiest not at all".

Eula glanced over at Aether, her eyes reflecting the flickering light from the bedside lamp. "My childhood was far from ideal. The Lawrence Clan's expectations were always heavy. My every move was scrutinized, and I had to constantly live up to their standards."

Aether, listening intently, nodded. "I understand. It must have been difficult living under such pressure."

Eula sighed, a faint smile touching her lips as she looked back at Luminis. "It was. The clan's focus on tradition and maintaining their status often overshadowed personal happiness. There were moments when I felt isolated, even though I was surrounded by family."

Aether's expression softened. "I'm sorry to hear that. It's clear you've carried a lot of that burden with you."

Eula shook her head. "It's a part of who I am, but I've tried to move past it. Meeting you and having Luminis has brought me a sense of peace I hadn't felt in years."

Aether reached out, gently taking Eula's hand. "I'm glad to hear that. And I hope that our family can be different. I want us to create a space where Luminis can grow up happy and free from those same pressures."

Eula looked at Aether, her eyes full of warmth. "I believe we can. We've already begun to make a difference, and I think we're on the right path."

Aether smiled, squeezing her hand. "Yes, we are. And we'll face any challenges together, just like we always do."

They sat in silence for a moment, watching Luminis sleep peacefully. The worries of the day seemed to fade away in the quiet of the night. Aether and Eula knew that their journey was far from over, but they found comfort in their shared strength and the love they had for their son.

They both then looked at eachother, as they did Eula leand in as they kissed eachother there lips meet in a loving embraced as they looked at eachother.

As Aether and Eula leaned in, their eyes locked with a shared understanding and tenderness. The kiss was soft and warm, a gentle merging of their emotions and connection. They embraced each other, feeling the depth of their affection and the strength of their bond.

When they finally pulled back, their foreheads rested together. They looked into each other's eyes, seeing the promise of a future built on love and mutual support. The world outside seemed to fade away as they basked in the quiet intimacy of the moment.

Eula smiled softly. "I'm grateful for you, Aether. For everything we've built together."

Aether smiled back, his heart full. "And I'm grateful for you, Eula. You've brought so much light into my life."

They sat together in the peaceful glow of the room, knowing that their love would continue to be their guiding light as they faced the challenges and adventures that awaited them.

Aether then looked at her. "Ok this is going to be a big asshole thing to say"

Eula just looked at him. "What is it"

Aether just looked at her before he spoke. "Are you ok with being part of an harem".

Eula blinked as frost covers her arm. "You better have a good reason or else"

Aether just golped. "I am prince"

Eula looked at as she was grabbing her claymore. "Is that it"

Aether just looked at and yalled out. "I promise my parent's".

Eula just stopped and just looked at as she blink, with a dry flat tone she just spoke. "What?"

Aether took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves. "When I first left my kingdom, my parents were concerned about the future. They asked me to make promises, and one of them was to ensure that I build strong, lasting relationships wherever I went. I didn't realize it at the time, but it seems like this might be part of that promise."

Eula's expression softened slightly, though she still looked wary. "So, you're saying this is something you're obligated to do?"

Aether nodded. "Yes, in a way. I didn't fully understand the implications until now, and I'm sorry if it feels like I'm imposing something on you. I never intended for it to come out like this."

Eula took a deep breath, her frosted arm slowly returning to normal. "I see. It's not just about having multiple partners; it's about making sure everyone involved is treated with respect and care."

Aether nodded earnestly. "Exactly. I want to ensure that everyone feels valued and understood. If you're uncomfortable or have any reservations, I need to know so we can address them together."

Eula sighed, her expression thoughtful. "I appreciate you explaining that. I'm still processing this, but I'm willing to talk more about it and understand how we can make this work if it's something that needs to be part of our journey."

Aether gave her a reassuring smile. "Thank you, Eula. We'll navigate this together and make sure it's right for everyone involved."

Their conversation left a sense of mutual understanding between them, setting the stage for open communication and ensuring that their relationship would be built on trust and respect.

Aether then looked at her. "Plus there is a part of that wanted a harem because beautiful woman and to sock my sister when I find her".

Eula just looked at him. "You fucking pervert and asshole you know they right".

Aether just looked at her, relsied It was not said out of anger but a bit of laughter. "Your point".

Eula shook her head, a smirk playing at her lips despite her disapproval. "You really have a way of making things complicated, don't you?"

Aether chuckled, feeling a bit more at ease now. "I guess I do. But honestly, I'm glad we can talk about these things openly. It makes everything a bit easier."

Eula sighed, her expression softening. "I suppose if it means keeping our relationships strong and transparent, I can manage."

Aether nodded. "Thanks, Eula. I promise to keep things as respectful and fair as possible."

Eula gave him a wry smile. "Just remember, I'm not one to be easily swayed by just promises. Actions speak louder."

Aether smiled back, appreciating her resolve. "Understood. I'll do my best to show you that I mean what I say."

As they shared a quiet moment together, their bond deepened, marked by a mixture of humor and sincerity that would help them face the challenges ahead.
