Rosalyne felt her consciousness drifting through an unknown space for what seemed like a long time, like a dream or an illusion.

"So that's how it is…" Kokomi murmured. Even though she had prepared herself mentally and had her suspicions, hearing the full story from Yu Xie still left her both moved and surprised.

Her beautiful face reflected a complex array of emotions. Her usually clear, bright eyes seemed clouded with a layer of mist, making her appear both sorrowful and endearing.
