Chapter 7: Chapter 6
" Welcome, King Aerys of House Targaryen, the second of His Name, King of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm!."
Aurion looked at the man walking out of the carriage, and honestly, he couldn't hide the surprise on his face, he couldn't believe the man before him was the mad king, even though he didn't have that name as yet.
Behind the king, a woman emerged, making her way out of the carriage. Her big belly, which looked ready to burst, made clear she was pregnant.
Aurion eyes locked on to her as she appeared, and didn't leave her. Scanning every inch of her body from her head to her feet.
' They looked different than I imagined, the king even though there are signs he is letting himself go, it has not gone too far yet, and even though he hasn't spoken yet it doesn't seem like he has become the mad king yet, if I remember correctly the mad king early reign was not bad, some might even say it was good, then he started to slip into madness then in his later reign he became the mad king and that was all people remember.
Then there was the Queen she was beautiful, and she carried an air of sadness but she looked better than I expected, I'm guessing the king hasn't started raping and beating her yet.' Aurion thought to himself watching them approach before stopping a few metres in front of him.
Behind them, Aurion noticed the man who came out of the Lannister's carriage, and instantly he knew who it was.
'Tywin'
The group stood in silence, watching each other before Vhagar moved her head turning to watch the Targaryen group bring her face off the ground she let out a low growl.
In response, the soldiers tightened the grips on their swords and as they were about to pull them out Aurion spoke.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you, dragon fire is faster than any sword."
GROWL!!!!
"Easy Balerion!!" Aurion says as Balerion stands up ready to protect his rider.
"Balerion, the name of Aegon's Dragon." says the king.
"Aegon? Balerion is named after the gods of Valyria, and so is Vhagar." Aurion says.
"Why have you come here with your dragons? Are you a Targaryen?" Tywin asks going straight to the point.
Aurion looked at him and smiled.
"My apologies, I forgot to introduce myself."
"I am Aurion Balaerys, of the Balaerys house of dragons one of the forty dragon families of Valyria, one of if not the strongest of all dragonlord families. It's a pleasure to meet you all."
"A dragonlord family of Valyria? How are we supposed to believe that?" questioned Tywin.
"It doesn't matter to me, I came from the Far East because I heard there was another family that survived the doom, but it seems you guys have lost the ability to bond with dragons as I haven't seen one since my arrival."
"Magnificent creatures." Aerys says looking longingly at Balerion.
"I've read the history of House Targaryen, from before and after the conquest even some before the doom, and the Balaerys house is recorded in it, a very powerful dragonlord family it was." Aerys says a hint of mocking present in his voice.
"It still is, even if I'm the only remaining member, it has me as the only living dragonlord." Aurion responds.
Aery's expression dropped at the remark, While Tywin seemed satisfied looking at Aurion, Rhaella stood at the side her eyes locked on Aurion and his dragons not paying attention to the conversation happening.
"I don't have a problem creating another dragonlord family or helping an existing one regain their ability to have dragons." Aurion says lying with a smile on his face, letting his statement permeate the people present.
Tywin, Aerys, and even Rhaella looked at Aurion shocked.
"What is it you want?" Aerys asked.
" There are only two things I want, first two dragon saddles and two million golden dragons wouldn't hurt."
"Deal!!" Aerys agreed immediately looking at Balerion with greed.
"Perfect, but you may have misunderstood me. My two dragons are not for sale, what you are paying for is the service of me hatching a dragon egg for you, one you provided of course. If you don't have one I could get one from my collection for you but the price would increase accordingly." says Aurion.
Aerys now looked angry as he clenched his fist, Tywin looked neutral but one could see he was in deep thought, Rhaella stood silently looking at Aurion not saying anything.
"We haven't been able to hatch a dragon egg in years what makes you think you could do it?" Aerys asks.
"Well, I did hatch these two." Aurion says motioning to his two dragons.
" The price is too much just for a hatchling, it must be at least a dragon of their size." he says pointing to Balerion and Vhagar.
"Think of it this way, you aren't paying for a hatchling. You are paying for what it could become, but if you are too cheap there is one other way." Aurion says smiling.
"What is it?" Aerys asked his interest peaked again.
"Marriage."
Hearing this Tywin's eyes shined as he looked a Aurion as if he were some kind of treasure.
"Marriage is why I came here in the first place, I'm looking for a wife someone who can bear me a child to carry on the Balaerys name, who better than another dragonlord family of Valyria even though you have lost your dragons, your blood is still of Valyria, provide me a wife and my second born will be given a dragon upon his/her birth and will carry the Targaryen name, but the saddles and gold dragon are still needed but I will carry it down by half, one saddle and one million gold dragons."
"For any of these deals, I'll need the money and the saddles upfront as going back for a dragon egg will take a while."
"So what do you say deal or no deal?"
