Chapter 33: Winterfell III
(Rhaegon's POV)
"Lady Stark." I bowed slightly, "I thank you for taking care of my Aunt."
I stood in front of Lady Catlyn who was holding a paper, a list, as she gave me a smile.
"Ser Rhaegon!" She said with joy, "It has been so long! Oh, look how much you've grown! Come, give me a hug."
She set her paper down on the table and walked over to me, embracing me as I awkwardly hugged her back. I do recall my mother being friends with Lady Catlyn before I was born which is why she sees me with such joy whenever we meet. Then again, my mother is friends with most Ladies of the Realm.
"I have indeed grown, My Lady." I said, "You're much shorter than I remember..."
She chuckled, "Oh, you...." She said, "I knew I heard a louder dragon's roar. Say, has the Princess's dragon calmed down now that yours is here."
I placed my hand on my chin and nodded, "I hope she does." I said, "Shrykos has always been a bit of an aggressive one. I don't know why."
She pointed to the hall, "We're working tirelessly to prepare for this feast." She said, "I apologize if it's not near completion yet."
I shook my head, "No need for apologies, My Lady." I said, "If you require my help, please say so."
She smiled, "Well, if it-"
"Rhaegon!" I heard a voice call out for me
I turned around to see Lord Eddard Stark making his way towards me, with a smile on his face.
I smiled, "Lord Stark." I said as he reached me
"Look at you, my boy." He said as he pulled me into a hug, "Oh, you've gotten much taller!"
"So I've been told." I said with a chuckle
He pulled away, "Heh, feel these muscles..." He said as he patted my shoulders, "Robert's blood does flow through these veins, Ser Rhaegon. How have you been?"
I nodded, "I've been good, Lord Eddard." I said, "My Father sends his regards, as always. He'll be here on the Wedding, of course."
"Yes, Robert sends his occasional raven." He said, "He tells me that you've been on Tour? Marriage proposals, eh?"
"Oh, yea." I said as I rubbed my hair, "Long couple of weeks."
"How has the North treated you in that regard?" I heard Lady Stark ask
I turned to her, "Very well, My Lady. The Northern Lords were kind and their daughters were sweet." I said
Lady Stark smiled at me, "Well, I had discussed it with Ned, but we had thoughts of offering our Sansa to you, to unite our houses with your Father's." She said
"I....Uh...." I said while looking at Ned
He merely chuckled, "My Sansa is still young, Ser Rhaegon, I knew you wouldn't accept." He said, "Say, would you come to me to the courtyard? The boys and I are about to ride out to the woods, Jon and Theon have been tracking a large beast."
"Ned, I was going to ask Ser Rhaegon for some help here." I heard Lady Catlyn say
"Oh, it wouldn't hurt, would it?" Lord Stark said as he pulled me alongside him
"I..." I said as I pointed at Lady Stark, "I don't mind helping out, Lord Eddard...."
"Ah, come on." He said, "Let's go out and get some proper Northern air, Rhaegon."
"I already had my share of that....." I said as I looked at Lady Catlyn, "My apologies, Lady Stark."
"It is fine." She said with a smile
"Come, Rhaegon." Ned Stark said,
"Let's go hunting."

"Where's the Princess?" I heard Lord Stark ask Robb as their horses were getting readied
"She's going to help Mother out with tables." Robb said as he mounted his horse, "Her Dragon is calm now, there's no need to worry."
"You know how to ride, right Bran?" Lord Stark asked the small boy on a horse next to him
Brandon Stark, one of the younger Stark Children, nodded, "Yes, Father."
I looked as Hodor, the Stark's hulking stableboy or man.... slowly brought a horse over to me, "Thank you, Hodor." I said as I grabbed hold of the reigns
"Hodor...." He said as he nodded
I felt a pair of eyes were piercing me from behind. I turned to see two young men, around my age, on horses of their own and waiting.
One of them was looking away, not paying attention to me, he had black hair and black eyes, whom I assume was Jon, Lord Stark's illegitimate son. The other, however, was the one I recognized instantly.
Theon Greyjoy. He had a serious look on his face as his eyes were daggers and were stabbing me in the face. He was sent here to ward for the Starks around 7 years ago. Apparently, despite his son being in Stark care, his father decided to rebel 4 years ago. He was willing to risk his own son to try and attack the North. Of course, Lord Eddard Stark, the Quiet Wolf, was in no mood of executing children at that time and decided to smash the Ironborn rebellion alongside my Father's forces.
I remember that War too well. I was a part of it.
I killed his two brothers.
"Hm..." I said as I got atop the steed readied for me
Lord Stark mounted his own horse, "Jon, Theon, lead the way." He said, "We catch this beast tonight."
I saw as both Jon and Theon rode in front of us.
"Yes, Lord Stark." Jon said as he glanced at me, "It's not far from here, around 30 miles away."
I looked at Robb, "What are we hunting?" I asked, "A boar or something?"
Robb looked at me, "I think so." He said, "I just heard of this beast that is lurking about. Must be a big one."
I frowned, "Morghul loves hunting Giant Boars." He said, "His favorite meal. He would've noticed one running around 30 or so miles around Winterfell."
"He could?" He asked
I nodded, "Dragons have great eyesight, especially when they're hungry." I said
"Robb, Ser Rhaegon, let us go." Lord Stark said
I nodded, "Yes." I said as I looked up at the clouded northern sky, "Okay then...."
"Let's see what this day has in store for us."
