FROZEN 3: Elsa and Jack Frost

Chapter 10: WE'LL SEE

"What do you think you are doing out here?"

Olaf saw black, point black darkness.

He didn't understand what was going on, "Have—-?"

Somethings kicked at both his right and left sides, almost harshly.

There was a loud cough coming from up the… ceiling?

"I am sorry I was going to see a prisoner, he owes my husband his dues."

What in the name of…?

Olaf was confused.

He tapped about on a long stick, feeling it, this time the kick he felt was a bit harsh.

A kick. This was…?

"Ma'am are you okay?"

"I am fine. Old age does a lot of things to you. May I ask why I am surrounded?"

"No." "Not you ma'am." "We will be on our way."

Several guards said at once.

"You should not be out at all, the kingdom has been taken over. It is not a good time, let us escort you."

Olaf stopped moving, he recognised that voice, it was Vince, the guard that always told him where to find Anna when she wasn't in the throne room.

What was happening?

"No it's alright. I'll move slowly, my old bones are weak. Go on with what you are doing."

"Alright ma'am. Move it you all."

"YES SIR!!!!"

After a while, Olaf felt something trudge him some steps forward.

Then the darkness lifted up his eyes, "I can see!!"

He stretched his hands forward as he walked towards the light—- that he'd definitely never take for granted again.

"Shhhh!" A voice sounded behind him.

He turned quickly but met a cloth fabric and looked up to see an elderly lady.

"Misses Freya. Wait… was I hiding under your skirt?"

"Be quiet," she said, lifting him up in her hands.

"The Queen is not here in the dungeons. She's about to be beheaded."

Olaf's eyeballs slanted downwards, "What? No."

Old Mrs Freya shook him, "YESSS. I suspect that he doesn't want rebellion. You have to save her. I'll take you to a shortcut that leads to the execution block."

—-----------------

As she was forced to kneel before the block, Anna's thoughts went to Elsa.

'Please, Elsa', she said silently.

'If you can hear me, I need you now.'

On a high step in front Kristoff sat on a large chair that four guards were currently holding up.

Coming to watch her execution was a necessary step he knew he had to take.

He didn't trust the guards not to end up helping her escape and lying to him of her death, after all they had all served her for quite a long time.

And of course, he made sure every citizen on Arendelle was present to watch.

Leaning forward, he placed his right elbows to his knees and his right thumb just underneath his jaw.

"Any last words, YOUR MAJESTY?" he asked—- mockingly obviously.

Anna raised her head, broken, sad, and…

Was that bitterness?

He leaned back in his chair.

"You'll regret this, Kristoff. I promise you, you will rue the day you were born."

Kristoff's ears twitched and his eyebrows pinched together but he curved his lips upwards in a smile.

"We'll see," he said.

Raising his hand up with his five fingers stretched to the sky, he brought it down, signalling to the executioner to go ahead.

Then the executioner in his black bag mask with only three holes in it—- showing just his eyes and mouth— walked up to the dethroned Queen, holding a large axe in his hands.
