FOREVER YOURS [BTS OT7]

Chapter 75: CHAPTER 73

The Bangtan Boys checked their phones for the first time the following day and discovered they spent almost two weeks in Mimi's hands, a new year began and they couldn't celebrate it. Jimin hold on to the hope they could rescue Namjoon before the lunar new year, but Hoseok already knew getting their boyfriend back would be harder than rescuing Yoongi from under the runes.

They fully recovered physically a week later, but their hearts remained in a thousand of pieces for the absence of Namjoon.

How could they get him back?

They must have improved their security system and they didn't have doubts Mimi and Bang PD kept looking for them.

They had the conversation the third night sleeping in their house.

"I knew we couldn't trust that little piece of shit." Yoongi said coldly, swallowing down in one gulp the whisky on his cup. "We should've left that company a very long time ago."

"How could we have guessed he would try to kill us as long as he didn't know we're dating?" Hoseok kept his voice as gentle as possible, caressing Jimin's nape.

"But that explains why we could never get rid of Mimi." Jimin added with his head low, but appreciating Hoseok's kind gesture.

"Shit, that's why he didn't let us finish our mission with her—he was helping her all along. What the fuck was he thinking about? He hoped we would get ourselves killed in one of our missions and never come back? Shit, we worked for him."

Seokjin rolled his eyes with a long sigh, also gulping down a glass of whisky, even if he had never been kin to drink. "I knew he hated me! I told you! If he does something to Joonie, he'll wish he wasn't born."

Jungkook and Tiger watched them silently, both thinking how could they bring Namjoon back. Jungkook disliked to death Bang PD the day he discovered he kidnapped Jimin when they were kids and began planning his murder since that day. As for Tiger, well, he has never liked anyone beside Taehyung and Jungkook, so he wasn't surprised and couldn't care less about Bang PD's betrayal. Nevertheless, he cares the bare minimum for Namjoon to try and save his life.

Taehyung won control over his body after a week and woke up in Jungkook's arms. It took him a while to react, staring at Jungkook's puffy sleeping face. He had a lot to process, the last memory he had he was locked in a room, and now he lay next to Jungkook in the familiar room. When he came back to his senses it was too late for the bear boy, Jungkook already stared at him with a small curious frown.

Taehyung almost fell off the bed trying to get out and almost fell on the floor when he realised he was completely naked in front of Jungkook. He clumsily grabbed the sheets of the other bed and covered his body, his cheeks shining a rose pink.

Jungkook let out a quiet husky chuckle, shaking his head before resting his head on the soft warm pillow.

Taehyung awkwardly picked his pajamas from the floor, turned around to get changed and run away from him to his boyfriends. Seokjin and Jimin's room was empty, so he ran downstairs, but there was no one in sight. He came back upstairs to the biggest room and found his boyfriends cuddling on their sleep, but one of them was missing.

Taehyung became a sobbing mess when the boys told them what happened to Namjoon. Yoongi spent a few hours talking to Taehyung until he finally convinced him that Namjoon didn't die, even though he didn't have any proof of it.

Thanks to the heartbreaking news, Taehyung forgot the incident with Jungkook for a few hours. He avoided the tattooed boy as much as possible and his cheeks became a crimson red whenever he made eye contact with him, which Jungkook didn't miss.

The younger cornered him the same night when Taehyung got out of the bathroom.

"Is he alive?" Jungkook played with his fingers anxiously, unable to take a breath after asking the question.

"Huh?" Taehyung blinked, lowering his head to his feet only to raise it and fixing his eyes on the wall behind Jungkook.

"Tiger. Is he okay?"

"He's still with me."

Jungkook took a deep breath and exhaled relieved. He thought for a moment about hugging Taehyung, but images of that morning played in his head for the thousandth time. He refrained a smirk and bit his lower lip.

Nevertheless, Taehyung wined and hit his arm. "You're a very very nasty boy!"

Jungkook shrugged with his eyebrows raised. "But Tiger likes me. Oh, you like me too, right?"

Taehyung gasped, shaking his head. He couldn't accept that in front of the younger, not after what happened that morning. "I tolerate you."

"Hm, so you like me. Good, I like you too. Friends?" Jungkook extended his hand with a grin and surprisingly Taehyung shook it.

Of course, he ran away to find his Chimmy right after.

The bright stars keep shining even on the coldest nights making Yoongi company. He spends another sleepless night in the living room tracking Mimi and Bang PD. He receives signals every hour, but it still increases after midnight.

"Babe, I made you a cup of coffee."

Hoseok kisses Yoongi's neck and places it on the table. He sits right next to him and covers both of their legs with a heated navy blue blanket.

"Thank you so much, babe. I needed it." Yoongi sighs in relief and ruffles his hair, leaning his head on Hoseok's shoulder.

Hoseok wraps an arm around his shoulders and leans his head on his. "You're doing great Suga Mushy, I'm proud of you."

Yoongi groans and covers his face momentarily. "Am I? I don't even know what they're doing to Joon," he moves closer to his ear and whispers, "or if he's even alive."

Hoseok gulps and shakes his head. "Something tells me he's alive, babe. My gut told me the same about you. We'll bring him back home somehow, okay? Do you believe me?"

Yoongi nods, hiding his head in the crook of Hoseok's neck. "As long as they don't leave the factory, we're good."

Hoseok smiles encouragingly and Yoongi sits straight to take a sip of the bitter coffee. The human sunshine doesn't leave his side until Seokjin comes downstairs, the birds humming outside.

Even if the pair can't keep their eyes fully opened, Hoseok notices Seokjin's red and puffy eyes. He has spent another night crying.

Seokjin hugs them and walks to the kitchen when they're gone. The pendant Hoseok gave him hangs on his neck, along the one he and Namjoon used to wear. He stares outside the window and rubs the couple rings, wishing he could give it back to Namjoon.

Wishing everything was a nightmare.

Wishing Namjoon had never left his side.

Wishing he had never left his side.
