Flame and Crimson: OC x Ruby (DBXV x RWBY)

Chapter 25: Chapter 25: Aftermath (Volume 3 Finale)

Hey there everyone, I hope you guys enjoyed the last chapter. I apologize if there were any grammatical errors sometimes when I post new chapters autocorrect adds letters to words that I didn't intend for it to lol 😂.

Since this chapter is essentially a recap of what happened during the waning stages of the Fall of Beacon, it may be alot shorter than last chapter. But we'll see what happens. Now, before we get into the chapter I have a poll for you as to what opening should be used for volume 4:

Which opening should start volume 4's story:

Option 1:

Tales of Arise opening 1: Hibana

Option 2:

Twin Star Exorcists opening 2: Re:call by Ris

Option 3:

Black Summoner opening 1: Dead End in my Brain by RetBear

Option 4:

Fire Force opening 2: MAYDAY by Coldrain

Let me know in the comments, pm me, or in the reviews about which opening I should start volume 4 of the rwby story with.

Anyways enough of that, let's get back to the story!

P.S.: I don't own DBZ/ DB Super, Black Clover, Rwby , or any of the characters from the aforementioned series. Those belong to their respective creators I only own the Elven Oc's and 2 of the saiyan oc's. I have permission to use the oc's of Tarro and Daikon from a friend for my stories as well.

Opening theme:

Shield Hero season 2 opening 1: Bring Back by MADKID

Visuals: Odyn, Ruby, and Mercury standing up as lightning strikes across a darkened sky, Yang in her room looking down until Roy puts a hand on her shoulder to comfort her, JNPR,and KDBNB watching the tournament match between Pyrrha and Penny. A transition of flames later, hundreds of Grimm are seen to be invading Vale. During the breakdown before the chorus each of the teams participating in the tournament are shown until a large airborne Grimm is shown in the sky above the city. When the Grimm is seen, dozens of golden pillars of light then erupt into the sky, lighting up the skyline of Vale. During the chorus, all of the teams are seen to be fighting off the Grimm, while Odyn and Ruby are fighting Cinder and Emerald. Ruby is pushed back while Odyn transforms and charges at Cinder again, while Cinder has power sweeling around her as she charged towards Odyn. Roy, Yang, and Blake are fighting off Adam, Tirion, and a rather familiar face that has black shadows covering his body. The final breakdown of the song ends with the image of Odyn and Cinder charging towards each other while the characters on their respective sides of the screen follow them to charge at each other.

Chapter 24: Aftermath (Volume 3 Finale)

The scene opens up back in Ruby's room with the girl asking Odyn what happened after she fell unconscious.

"Odyn.. tell me. What happened while I was out? What happened to Beacon?," Ruby asked.

Odyn sighed, he knew she was going to ask that. He gently brushed stroked the hair framing his girlfriend's face before he pulled his hand away as he answered her.

"Very well, I'll tell you Ruby. But.. you may want to get comfortable because this... is going to take awhile to explain.," Odyn said.

As he said this, Ruby then sat up straight with her pillow acting as a back rest. She listened intently.

"So after you went unconscious, due to the power in your special eyes... It weakened Cinder. My sister and myself defeated Cinder immediately after.," Odyn explained.

Ruby's eyes widened in surprise upon hearing this.

"You... defeated Cinder?!," Ruby asked surprised.

Odyn nodded.

"That we did, little rose. I just remember feeling rage towards Cinder, she was the one who originally killed my sister after all. And one of the few people responsible for why we dark elves are so horribly mistreated. But.. I knew that I couldn't let myself get lost in rage. Instead of being consumed by it, I channeled it into wounding that woman.," Odyn explained.

Ruby then had a question.

"Odyn.. my dad said there was creature frozen where Beacon Tower Once stood. What'd he mean by that?," Ruby asked.

Odyn smiled embarrassed.

"Oh that. 😅 That was... my doing, Ruby. I'm the reason Beacon tower isn't there anymore.," Odyn said smiling with a bead of sweat running down the back of his head.

Ruby's eyes widened.

"Odyn, you did that?," Ruby asked.

Odyn laughed nervously.

"*nervous laughter* Uh.. y-yeah, I did. I was pretty angry with Cinder, so I guess I let it boil over a little.. too much.," Odyn said sweat dropping.

"What else happened?," She asked.

"Like your dad said, I brought you to your uncle and father. But after that....," Odyn said as he continued to explain what happened.

*flashback: 3 weeks ago- During the Fall of Beacon*

Roy and Adam were seen duking it out with their blades as Blake stood frozen just watching them. Their blades clashed at speeds that she almost couldn't follow as the two moved at near untraceable speeds.

Adam prepared to use his semblance as he glowed red, sheathing his blade before quickly unsheathing it. A wave of energy flew forth from the blade of wilt, his dust weapon.

"MOON SLICE!," Adam shouted.

A red wave of energy flew towards Roy, making Adam smirk. The dark simply grinned before he felt power calling to him, he then unleashed the attack that countered Adam's attack.

"DOUBLE DEMON FANG!," Roy shouted.

As he swung his blade two spurts of blue energy converged and negated the bull faunus's semblance powered attack. This shocked adam before the two began to exchange blows again. The white fang leader stepped back and delivered another semblance powered swing towards the dark elf, hoping to cut him in half. Roy simply twisted his blade and swung downwards with the same amount of force. The result of this was another sword clash without anything happening.

"What?! How?!," Adam said surprised.

Roy smirked before he laughed, irritating the faunus.

"Why are you laughing? You should be dead! Or at least on the floor like those two (gestures towards Blake and Yang)!," Adam said angered.

Roy stopped laughing and spoke.

"Your semblance, it functions in the much the same way Yang's does. While it's good in close quarters, it does have a weakness.. a big one.," Roy said.

Adam clicked his tongue as he scoffs at the notion.

"Really? And I suppose you know what that weakness is then, forsak-," Adam said but was then promptly elbowed into the floor by the dark elf who glared at him.

"If you want to survive, Taurus, I suggest never using such a vulgar and derogatory term in front of a dark elf ever!," Roy said glaring at the faunus.

Blake was wide eyed at the display, just now. No one had ever treated Adam like that before. Clearly, Roy wasn't what one would consider normal. The crimson haired dark elf continued.

"You're semblance's greatest strength lies in its ability to absorb attacks and use that force to send the attack back at your opponent twice as powerful. But... that's also it's glaring weakness. If your enemy can match the force and power of your semblance's attack, the effect is negated. Meaning, it cancels it out.," Roy explained.

Adam swung his sword at Roy again, merely for the dark elf to match the ferocity of his attack with minimal effort.

"Enough of this, die, forsaken!," Adam said attacking again.

Roy narrowed his eyes and forced adam back with a swing of his own. The two then engaged in another excahange of blows with their swords as they clashed against each other.

"And You're just a mere thug trying to outwit someone who's been trained in the art of war since childhood! What will you do when you face someone who faster than you, stronger than you, more powerful than you, and who's a better swordsman than you? I'll tell you what, in your case, faunus... YOU YIELD!," Roy screamed as he knocked wilt away from Adam.

Roy then looked towards Blake over the shoulder.

"Go Blake. Get out of here and get Yang to safety! I'll keep Adam occupied.," Roy told the faunus.

"But, Roy.. you don't know him like I do! Adam is ruthless. He'll stop at nothing to get what he wants!," Blake argued.

"I said go, blake! I'm aware that Adam's dangerous, but then again..., so am I when I'm annoyed with someone. ," Roy snapped at her.

Blake couldn't say anything else and merely nodded. The cat faunus is seen running away from the scene, carrying an injured and unconscious Yang. Adam goes to follow when he is again stopped by Roy.

"Not so fast, Taurus. You and I have a score to settle!," Roy said.

Adam rushed at him and slashed downward, only for his Blade to be parried by Roy's own. The two continued to clash blades with each other, mixing in martial arts in between strikes. As they continued to fight, there was suddenly a blinding golden yellow light emanting off of Roy.

"Why are you glowing, is this some trick to fool me?!," Adam reacted.

Roy looked up and grinned.

"It seems it's begun. So.. you're really back, aren't you sis?," Roy said to himself.

Now glowing with golden light, the ground began to shake as lights from every corner of the city erupted into pillars towards the sky. A quick pan around the city reveals that every single one of the dark elves had Golden light surrounding them. The scene then shifts back to Roy, who's hair has grown a bit longer reaching just above his shoulders. Roy sheathed his sword as he now summons a blade made of pure lightning.

Adam looked at his opponent, something was... not normal about him. His power increased and now it felt oppressive... dark almost.

Adam activated his Semblance again, but chraged it this time. When he felt that he built up enough power, he released the attack.

"WILT AND FLUSH! NOW DIE!," Adam shouted.

Roy took one step forward and frowned.

"Foolishness.," Roy said as he swatted away the attack as if it were nothing to him.

He stepped forward again as he then activated the power coursing through him.

"LIGHTNING MAGIC: DRAGON'S VAMBRACE!," Roy shouted as a claw of pure lightning covered his hand.

The dark elf took one step, and he was already behind Adam. The faunus smirked at him getting ready to attack when he noticed something missing. Looking forward in horror, Roy had his arm in his hand.

"Looking for this? Kind of hard to attack me with only one arm there, Taurus.," Roy said.

Adam looked down and screamed in agony as his arm had just been severed. But.. how? He didn't even see the elf move, it... was as if he was already there on the other side of him.

"But... How?! You didn't even move!," Adam asked while still gripping his stub of an arm in agony.

Roy grinned at him like a beast towards their prey.

"On the contrary, Faunus. I did move. It was just too fast for your puny eyes to catch up with.," Roy replied.

"I.. I'll kill you, forsaken!," Adam said angry.

Roy than just glared at him as he looked down on the bull faunus. Stretching his hand out, he cast a lightning spell that narrowly missed Adam's head.

"No, you wont. You're going to leave here. If you don't, I really will kill you! You can be sure the next spell I cast won't miss.," Roy replied.

Adam knelt to the ground, one of his arms now gone. This elf.. he was far too powerful for him to beat right now. As much as he disliked it, he'd have to retreat this time.

The faunus then picked up his sword, using it as a cane to help him walk away from the scene. Roy picked up the severed limb and stared at it. This could be useful later, especially to Yang who was more than likely traumatized from losing an arm. Looking up to the sky, Roy than decided that he would make his way back to the others. Using his lightning magic, he propelled himself into the sky and towards the others.

With Khanna...

Khanna had lost count of how many Grimm she had killed, not that it mattered. As long as the civilians got to safety, it was all worth it. It was as she fought, golden light surrounded her and she felt her strength increase. Looking up to the sky as other lights of similar nature littered Vale's sky line, she smiled.

"It's about time you came back, Sarai. I was beginning to wonder when you'd return.," Khanna thought.

The black haired dark elf knocked away another Grimm, sending it into oblivion. She turned towards her other men signaling them to move forward. As the dark elven maiden walked forward, she sighed upon seeing the state of Vale. Shops were caved in on, homes were destroyed, the once beautiful streets were cracked with craters, there were fires littering almost every street corner. And worst of all, there were... bodies of civilians. People that they couldn't save, that was a thought which stung. Innocent people had perished as a result of this dark plan by whoever came up with this idea.

No.., she knew who had planned this. It was that woman, Cinder. Khanna knew she was the culprit, the terrorist that would undermine everything Ozpin and the other guardians had built up. And yet.. she could do nothing to stop her. It frustrated Khanna to no end. That was when she made a vow. The next time she saw Cinder, or her cohorts, she was going be just as ruthless to them as they were to her friends. There would be no second chances for that murderer or her allies.

Khanna continued killing Grimm left and right, taking out her frustration and anger on the creatures of darkness. It was to the point that Grimm began to run from her because they sensed nothing they could do would stop her from annihilating them. As she continued her path of carnage, a certain voice called out to her, snapping her from her unstable state of mind.

"Khanna! Stop!,"

When she looked, she saw that it was Mercury. His eyes softened at the dark elf.

"What's wrong? This isn't like you.," Mercury asked concerned.

That was the last straw, when Khanna saw the face of her friend she flung herself towards him and burst into tears upon hugging.

"Merc, I... I'm.. sorry! I couldn't stop her.. I.. couldn't stop Cinder.," Khanna said crying into the teen's chest as the silver haired boy hugged her.

Mercury just hugged her and rubbed her back, soothing her. For such a strong being, Khanna was just as fragile in a moment as any other girl could be emotionally. Mercury simply comforted his friend as she cried.

"It's alright Khanna, I'm.. here now. Heh, it's still the same as back then, huh? Whenever I saw you crying, I never was really sure what to do. Thinking back, I thought I did something to make you cry. Most of the time, that was the case as I said some rather mean things to you. There... was a lot going on then. That was still no excuse for what I said to a gurl that only wanted to be my friend, even if she would tease me at times.," Mercury said.

Khanna's eyes shot open at this as she looked into his eyes.

"M-Merc! You... remember that?," Khanna asked surprised.

Mercury nodded.

"Of course, I do. We'd get into so much trouble together... Both of us were some real pieces of work. But.. we always stuck together as kids... Up until I decided to leave without saying goodbye that is.," Mercury replied.

"Mercury, so you... Your memory, has it..?," Khanna asked trailing of waiting for Mercury's answer.

Mercury nodded and smiled at her.

"Yeah. It took a long time but.. seems my memory of you has come back, hanna.," Mercury replied.

Khanna couldn't contain the tears flowing down her face as she smiled with a bit of a blush on her cheeks.

"You're really back! (Joyously laughs as she hugs him)," Khanna said with joyful tear streaming down her face.

As she does so, the two spin briefly before stopping as Khanna nuzzled into the warmth of Mercury's chest.

"Oh, Merc... I missed you... so much.," Khanna said still tearfully smiling.

Mercury hugs her back as he smiled.

"And I missed you, Khanna...," Mercury replied before both had to refocus.

Noting the position they were both in, the two teens suddenly found the streets of Vale to be really interesting. The pair each had faces as red as a tomato, causing them to not even be able to look at each other in the eye. They were too embarrassed too at the moment.

"A-Ahem! We should uh... go help the others out now, right?," Mercury said clearing his throat.

Khanna also cleared her throat.

"Mm.. ahem! Yes, we should!," Khanna agreed.

The two ran to catch up with the others.

"W-We'll uh... talk about this more later.," Khanna said a bit red in the face.

Mercury also flushed red and nodded.

"Y-Yeah.. that would be for the best.," He said laughing nervously.

With Hailfire, Neptune, and Sun...

The dark elven shield maiden worked in sync with the faunus and human from vacuo as they dispatched more and more Grimm..

As they fought alongside the other students with them, more Grimm seemed to be spawning. Unfortunately, they began to tire. That wasn't good.

"You've got to be kidding me! They just keep coming!," Sun said.

"I.. know.. it's.. a lot.. but we need to to keep going!," Hailfire said feeling tired now.

Neptune nodded before Hailfire noticed a Grimm about to jump him.

She quickly leapt in front of him, blocking the blow with her shield.

"Look out!," She said deflecting the blow.

As more Grimm surrounded them, the teens grit their teeth in determination. They would not die here, people were counting on them!

As the creatures of darkness drew near, Neptune looked to Hailfire with wide eyes.

"Uh.. H-Hailfire, what's going on?!," Neptune asked with widened eyes.

She was unsure why Neptune was so surprised until Sun pointed out why.

"You're glowing, Hailfire!," Sun said.

When he said this, the dark elf looked down and saw that there indeed was a golden light surrounding her person. The light then erupted skyward as the ground shook. She smiled in knowing what was happening.

"So... it's begun then? The princess has returned.," Hailfire said.

The ground stopped shaking soon after as Hailfire walked forward with the golden light surrounding her. The Grimm seemed to be afraid of her now.

The elf's attention was then directed towards the side as she suddenly slammed her shield into the street creating a giant barrier that protected the group with her.

A black projectile then bounced off of the barrier as it retracted from where it came. Hailfire glared towards the sky as a figure with orange hair, horns, black wings, and shadows covering his face slowed to a hover.

*Enter Black clover ost: Devils theme*

All of the teens looked up in shock and horror. For up above them was Cardin and the rest of his team. But they were different, they all had horns protruding from their heads and black shadows like tattoos covering their bodies at points. But the most glaring features were the barb like black tails they had and... their eyes. Their eyes were a sickly red with black irises, and shadows framing their eyes. Those same dark patterns were on their necks as well.

"Shi shi shi, I see you sensed us Elf!," The being laughed.

The trio of beings laughed.

"I did, Devil!," Hailfire spat.

"What the.. Cardin?!,"Sun said surprised.

"And team CRDL?! Why do they look like that?!," Neptune asked shocked.

Hailfire shook her head in response to their claims.

"No. Those aren't the students you knew anymore.," Hailfire said.

Giblet scowled, he could feel something... "off" about these three.

Velvet, Yatsuhashi, Coco, and Fox all stared in horror as they recognized the students. But.. they were different.

"What do you mean by that?," Coco asked.

"As I said miss Adel, those are not the students you all knew... not anymore. It would seem they've been devoured by the devils that possessed them.," Hailfire said.

"D-Devils?!," Sun asked nervously.

The dark elf nodded.

"Those three allowed their dark emotions overflow... and as a result.. they became possessed by devils, denizens of the underworld. So it's not merely the Grimm we have to contend with. No remnant has a new menace to face. The Underworld itself.," Hailfire explained.

"So if I got this right, then... Anyone could become a target for these fiends called devils to possess?," Giblet asked.

"Yes, you are correct. No doubt being beaten by Pyrrha in combat class leading up to the tournament sent these unfortunate souls over the edge. Once a devil posses a human it is very hard to return to being human. I suspect these three were possessed from the very beginning to some extent. Which is why they acted the way they did towards their fellow students, particularly towards their faunus classmates. They were being influenced by the devils inside of them. These three were devoured by devils a long time ago.," Hailfire told them.

She then turned and glared at the devils in the air as the realization of what happened to Team CRDL sunk in for the rest of the students.

"No way...," Neptune said in shock.

"So.. the whole time, they were...," Coco said in horror.

"P-Possessed by these... evil creatures?," Velvet finished saying in fright.

"Can we save them?," Scarlett asked.

Hailfire shook her head.

"How I wish that were the case... but, no. Cardin, Russel, Dove, and Sky unfortunately can no longer go back to being human. They are as you can see... devils now.," Hailfire said sadly.

The devils then spoke again.

"Your emotions make the most excellent playthings for us to do whatever we want with!," the other devils laughed.

"What do you want, Demon?," Hail spat in disgust.

"Ah... yes. We merely came to say hello now that we've found our two targets.," The lead devil who was once Cardin said.

"Quite a way to say hello, don't you think, devil?," Hailfire replied scowling.

The devil smirked.

"Perhaps.. but now we have your attention at the very least. We've done what we came here to do anyway. We bid you adieu, dark elf.," The devil said.

The devil bowed as a portal opened up behind them. The devils flew backwards into the portal and then disappeared as the portal closed.

Hailfire angrily stomped on the ground.

"How.. could I have been so foolish? I should've known those 4 would get possessed! And yet... that's more people I couldn't save.," Hailfire said bitterly.

She felt Neptune put a hand on her shoulder.

"For.. what it's worth, it's not like you could have watched them all the time. Those "devils" just took advantage of a bad situation. It's not your fault, Hail.," Neptune said trying to cheer up the dark elf maiden.

Hailfire looked to Neptune and offered him a small smile.

"I... suppose you are right. Thank you for that, Neptune. I.. suppose I needed to hear that.," She replied.

Neptune couldn't help but to stare. He didn't know her all that well yet, but in that moment... it didn't matter. She may have been a powerful Dark Elf, but she was still a normal girl underneath. Furthermore, he couldn't help but to admire how beautiful Hailfire was physically speaking. He was snapped out of his trance by her speaking to the group.

"Come along then, we need to get you all out of here. And fast!," Hailfire said.

The other teens nodded and followed the dark elf maiden as she led them towards where she felt the others would be gathering.

Time skip: Beacon docks....

Everyone was now just arriving back at the Beacon docks, boarding airships to safety. Ironwood and his forces arrived, along with Roy, Odyn with Qrow and Taiyang, Sybyrh with her brothers and Tarro, Khanna with Mercury and the other Elven soldiers, before finally Hailfire and her group arrived.

Odyn looked around and didn't see Blake, confusing him.

"Where's Blake?," Odyn asked.

Khanna shook her head in disappointment.

"Blake... well... she ran. Poor girl thinks this whole thing involving Yang was her fault.," Khanna answered.

Odyn spat in anger under his breath, he told blake that it wasn't her fault Yang was hurt.

He looked over at everyone, saddened by the state of them. All of the students were tired and bruised. Everyone had bandages on somewhere or another. He looked on as the city of Vale continued to burn.

One particular bullhead pulled up as a man with silver hair, a matching mustache, blue eyes, and dressed in a business suit stepped out of the ship.

He commanded Weiss to come with him, the girl couldn't do anything but to obey. She knew what her father would do if she didn't listen. Weiss sadly looked back at her friends with a tear flowing down her cheek.

"Wait.. Weiss!," Khanna called out.

Atlas soldiers blocked the dark elf from getting to the girl. Daikon looked angry, but knew he couldn't do anything. He balled his hands into fists out of anger.

"You're just going to.. leave?," Sarai asked.

The man in the business suit scoffed and smirked.

"She doesn't have to answer you. What happens to her doesn't concern you, forsaken. Now run along like the filth you are.," The man said.

"You did not just call my cousin that! I oughtta tear you limb from limb!," Khanna objected before Odyn came forth.

Jacques looked turned his back to them before he felt a menacing presence behind him.

"Pardon me, mister Schnee... but I believe it's up to the individual to decide what action they should take. And we consider your daughter, Weiss, a dear friend of ours. That said... DON'T THINK I'LL OVERLOOK WHAT YOU JUST CALLED MY SISTER, HUMAN!," Odyn said glaring at the man.

Jacque's smile than warped into a look of terror as he stared at the dark elf. This boy's presence was crushing him. Odyn just sighed and then walked back.

"Is... what I would say. But that is not for me to decide. Your crime is for people more worthy than myself to decide.," Odyn said stepping back as all of the elven personell knelt to the floor.

Two particular people walked forward and they were not pleased in the slightest. Berethon and Hyatan walked forward with stoic looks on their faces. Hyatan then spoke.

Radiant dawn ost: Empress Sanaki theme (This will be the theme for Hyatan in this particular instance)

"Jacque Schnee, Head of The Schnee Dust Company.... Your reputation preceeds you. I couldn't help but over hear your remarks just now.," Hyatan said with a stern look.

"General, who is this? A mere forsaken like her shouldn't have the right to speak so boldly. Arrest her!," Jacque said.

"What I do concerning my daughter has nothing to do with you!," Jacque said.

Ironwood was pale as he couldn't move, due to the pressure these elves were emitting.

"I... apologize, Jacque.. but I cannot do as you say.," Ironwood said shaking.

"What?! Are you ignoring an order from a councilman?," Jacque asked incredulously.

"Th-That's not it, Sir! Choose your words carefully... That woman you were so rude to just now... She happens to be the ruler of the Dark Elven Race.," A soldier said shaking in ihis boots.

"How dare you, a human slander her Grace! This is her Grace, the High Queen of the Albanar Tribe of Dark Elves, Hyatan Albanar!Watch your tongue, human scum!," Sybyrh said readying her sword.

Hyatan put her hand forward to stay Sybyrh from lashing out.

"You are aware, sir Schnee that more than 50% of Atlas military is made up of dark elven citizens, correct? With your thoughtless words just now, I'll have to ask you to return my people to us.," Hyatan said sternly.

Berethon stepped forward beside his wife and let it be known he was not pleased with Jacque's words.

" You may be a councilman and ambassador for Atlas, Jacque, but with your words just now towards my wife and daughter... consider your privileges revoked in our territory from this day forward. Too long have our people been mistreated by you humans. They cry out for justice, equal treatment, and what do they get in return? They are ostracized,  verbally degraded, taken advantage of, and physically abused to no end. You humans, especially you Jacque have left us elves with little choice...," Berethon said.

Weiss widened her eyes. She knew relations between humans and elves were bad, but she never would have guessed that there was this much hostility between them.

*ost end*

"You couldn't possibly mean...," Jacque started before Hyatan finished his thought by nodding.

She glared daggers at him.

Black Clover Ost: Wriggling Silhouette; the Third Eye

"Inform your superiors, Jacque...  The Dark Elves... are now Atlas's enemies. The Elven Nation of Albanar declares war on Atlas! Until you fools learn the value of elven life, you can consider us your enemies! You can expect us to contribute in your nations downfall.," Hyatan said glaring at him.

Berethon then turned towards the gathered students.

"We ask you students of Beacon to make your decision of who's side you're on. If you can't commit to either side, we will respect your decision. But should you choose to side against us... know this: We will not show mercy to anyone who sides with our oppressors!," Berethon spoke.

"This is ludicrous! You really think you can win against Atlas? You're mad! You'll be lucky if you aren't wiped out like you filth should be!," Jacque said.

Valvahdern walked up and planted his sword into the ground and glared at the Schnee.

"If you're intent was to intimidate us, you have work to do. And don't underestimate us, vermin! Half your military consists of Elven citizenry, what do you think will happen after they leave, hm?," Valvahdern snapped at him.

Atlas soldier pointed their rifles at the king and queen, only to have the elven vanguard point their blades and laser weapons towards the offending Schnee. Each of them with a dark glare on their faces towards the man who just insulted their rulers and the royal family.

Ironwood sighed as he looked down in stress at the pure idiocy of this man. He stepped forward and bowed in apology to the elven rulers.

"I.. apologize for jacque's behavior your highness. However, I can see that your mind is made up in this matter. Just... please, do your best to spare some of the citizens of mantle. We, Atlas, are the ones at fault for angering your people with our... unfair treatment of your people. Let your people's wrath pass onto us.," Ironwood said sincerely.

"We can see that there remains some hope for your people yet. Tell your councilman this.. Until the dark elves have the justice they deserve for such blatant mistreatment and degradation, there will be no talks of compromise or of peace.," Hyatan said in response to Ironwood.

"I will make sure they receive your message, Your Grace.," Ironwood replied.

Berethon then looked back in anger and utter disgust towards Jacque  as he spoke.

"And Jacque.. Consider your Ambassador privileges within the nation of Albanar revoked. You are no longer welcome among our people. Furthermore... those of our kind who serve in the Atlas military,  or those who have jobs within your company will be returning to their people effective immediately.," Berethon told him.

Jacque attempted to say something in rebuttal but was silenced by the vice commander of the Elven Vanguard, Sybyrh.

"Hold your tongue, snake! Anything and everything you say will just be further held against you in the eyes of the elven people.," Sybyrh spat with vitriol in her voice.

Jacque could not say say another word due to the glares he was now receiving from the elves in attendance. He simply scoffed and walked back to the bullhead that ecorted both him and Weiss away from Beacon in. He had no idea of the damage he had just caused to his image through his words towards another nation's sovereign rulers.

Before the Atlas forces followed after the Schnee escort, Hyatan looked towards Winter.

" And Lieutenant Schnee, for the sake of your family.. I do hope we have not misplaced our trust. Now is your chance to prove it to the elven people. Prove that we can trust you.," Hyatan told the elder Schnee daughter.

Winter briefly nodded and knelt to the elven queen.

"I.. will do my utmost to prove that to you both and your people.," Winter replied.

"Very well, see that you do. Off you go, Lieutennant.," Berethon told her.

*End ost*

The elder Schnee left along with the rest of the Atlas forces. The King and Queen then turned to the rest of those gathered.

"We will not ask you to be part of this. The conflict you heard of set into motion involves us elves and those in power over Atlas. You are free to choose where you stand in this conflict. If you choose not to be involved with this war, we respect you and will do our utmost to ensure your lives are not disturbed by it. The choice is ultimately up to you.," Berethon told them.

"Sybyrh, gather our soldiers. We will set an example for Atlas that they are not to underestimate us Elves.," Hyatan ordered.

Sybyrh nodded with Tarro, Zero, and Valvahdern following her. Hyatan looked to her sons.

"You don't have to say anything, your Grace... We know it couldn't be avoided.," Odyn said.

"We don't blame you for that. You're simply doing what you feel must be done in order to protect our people.," Roy added.

"Thank you for understanding, ... Odyn, and Roy. Before you two go, can I at least get one look at my two precious boys?," Hyatan said nearly in tears.

Other teens like team CVFY and SSSN were shocked at the news.

"Wait... Odyn and Roy are..," Neptune began.

"The Elven Rulers SONS?!," Coco asked in shock.

JNR laughed nervously and grinned.

"Yeah.. S-Sorry we didn't tell you guys.. there was just.. alot going on.," Jaune said nervously.

The others watched the queen's interaction with her boys.

Hyatan then hugged both of them before placing a hand on both of their faces.

"Be safe... My dear sons.. May Udiya protect and guide you on your journeys.," Hyatan said looking at them.

She knew that she would see them again, it might... just not be for awhile.

Odyn and Roy looked to their other friends as they looked on from a distance at Vale.

"So.. what will you all do now?," Odyn asked.

"I think myself and Ren will go back home for a little bit. So we can uh... ya know, process everything that's happened.," Nora said.

Ren nodded in agreement.

"I think we need some time to get used to the fact Pyrrha is... (looks at Sarai) another person now.," Ren said.

Roy looked to the Saiyans.

"And what of you guys?," Roy asked.

"Hm... well, I think I'll tag along with Sun and Jinjer. They're going after Blake I think. Blake... isn't in the best place headspace wise right now, someone needs to be there for her.," Shallot said.

They look to Scarlett who smirked.

"Think I'll probably tag along with Note, Beat, and Daikon for awhile. Besides... could make for some good training, sparring against other saiyans ya know?," Scarlett replied punching her fist into an open palm.

The group then looks to Flare, the Fox Faunus.

"U-Um... well I... ," Flare said fidgeting and nervous.

Baron then spoke.

"I'll go with Flare back to her home village as I'm sure she has to return there for at least a little bit.," Baron said surprising the girl.

This did make her happy as her tail began to not so subtly wag behind her.

"B-Baron san, you don't have to...," Flare started before Baron finished his thought.

"Besides... I'd like to learn a little more about the faunus. Or I guess.. I'd like to learn a little more about Flare.," Baron said.

This caused the fox girl to hide her beet red face and her tail to wag in even more happiness than before.

"She's so obvious..," Everyone thought slyly smirking.

Looking then to Khanna, the black haired elf maiden then spoke.

"A-Ahem! Well... I think Merc and I.. have some.. catching up to do. So.. I think the two of us will be sticking with each other for a long while.," Khanna said desparately trying to not blush at the thought.

Mercury nodded.

"Yeah.. umm... Khanna and I have some... things to catch up on with each other that'll take awhile to sort out so.. like she said we'll be sticking with each other for the time being.," Mercury said.

The question then turned to Hailfire, who cleared her throat.

"Me? Well... I do have to return with their majesties for a bit, but.. after that I'll come whenever you guys decide what our next move is.," Hailfire answered.

Neptune piped up after that.

"Yeah uh.. I think I'll go back with Scarlett maybe? If.. she doesn't mind anyways.," Neptune said.

Scarlett smirked.

"If you think you can handle training with 3 other saiyans, tough guy.," She chuckled.

The question fell to Sarai, who just smiled at Jaune.

"I'll be bringing Jaune back with me. He's strong, sure. But, Someone's gotta whip him into better shape in Pyrrha's absence. Plus... (she smiled softly at the blonde) I'd.. honestly like to get to know him better. Even though Pyrrha's technically the same person as me now, it feels... like I should get to know Jaune more.," Sarai said.

Jaune then laughed nervously.

"Well, you heard her. Guess I'll be going back with the elves. I want to learn more about them too. I don't believe you guys are as horrible as people have been saying that you are anyways. I'd like.. to learn the truth, for myself.," Jaune said determined.

The question then returned to the Albanar brothers.

"What about you, my brothers?," Sarai asked to which everyone was also curious.

They wanted to hear them say it, though everyone had a feeling they knew what the two would say.

"I've got to get Yang somewhere that she can recover. She's lost an arm if you hadn't noticed. What she needs is some good ol' fashioned Rest and Relaxation to recover from the trauma i think she's going to have once she wakes up.," Roy said.

Odyn nodded.

"And no better place for these two to get that than in their own home. Though Ruby isn't nearly as injured as Yang is.. she could still use some rest. Whatever she did to Cinder and that Grimm where Beacon's Tower used to be really did a number on her.," Odyn said.

"Will she be okay, brother?," Sarai asked worried.

Odyn nodded.

"Yeah. She'll be A okay. That said... she is.. going through some changes that are a bit.. alarming. I didn't think much of them at first, but now..," Odyn said trailing off.

Roy eyed his brother.

"You're concerned these "changes" may impact her physically sooner, rather than later right?," Roy asked.

Odyn chuckled.

"Some times I think you know me too well, Roy.," Odyn smirked.

"Well, I am your brother, why wouldn't I know these things?," Roy replied.

"True enough.," Odyn chuckled.

Sarai walked over and hugged her brothers before they left. She was glad to be with her brothers again.

"I'll see you both at a later time. Good luck, to both of you.," Sarai said smiling.

Both of them tussled their sister's hair as a sign of affection towards her to which she giggled. Odyn and Roy then used their Ki to levitate off the ground and into the air. Where they then took off towards patch.

Each of the remaining teens went their separate ways, often in groups.

Neptune joined Scarlett,  Note, Beat, Daikon, and Giblet as they set off to train.

Giblet managed to say a farewell greeting to Velvet, who waved farewell to him.

"I have to go now, but we will meet again before too long Miss Velvet.," Giblet said as he joined the other saiyans and Neptune.

Coco slyly smiled at the rabbit eared girl as she watched her teammate wave to him. Her ears slightly drooped upon realizing that it would be awhile until she'd see Giblet again.

"Miss him already, Velvet?," Coco asked.

Velvet blushed upon realizing what Coco said.

"Wha?! N-No! Well.. m-maybe just a bit..," Velvet said fidgeting.

"You'll see him again. Then, you can thank him for saving your life.," Coco said encouraging her friend.

"R-Right!," Velvet said.

Team CVFY then left aboard a Bullhead.

Baron and Flare left to return to the Fox Girl's home town for awhile. She was glad that the boy she was in love with came with her, she could show him around her village and maybe... introduce him to her family.

Nora and Ren returned to their home town for the few weeks until called upon. Alot had happened at Beacon. It.. would take them awhile to get over the "technical" death of Pyrrha.  Even though, she was another person now, it still would take some time to get over not being able to directly talk to their friend anymore. That was a rather sad thought.

Sun meanwhile, had joined up with Shallot and Jinjer in chasing after Blake. He would help them cheer up the cat faunus, who wasn't in the best place mentally right now. Wherever their trail led them, he was along for the ride.

Khanna and Mercury as they said, left together. They would hopefully find somewhere quiet so they could properly catch up with each other.  Besides, there were... a few things they needed to sort out before they moved forwards in their current relationship.

Hailfire went back with the other Dark Elven soldiers as they prepared for war against Atlas. She was more than happy to join up with Sybyrh and her brothers, she'd always heard good things about them and as such, held high regard for them.

Jaune accompanied Sarai, the "new" Pyrrha back to the dark elves base of operations. He knew that he needed to be stronger in order to protect people. Thankfully, Sarai would be there to help in that endeavor. Plus, it would be a good way to get to know her. Keeping Pyrrha's final words to him in mind, he'd be sure to get along with Sarai moving forward. Who knew, maybe he'd become just as close with her as he was with Pyrrha? It was worth a shot.

Hyatan and Berethon joined their people in leaving Vale and prepping for war against Atlas. Vale was now left abandoned and burning as Grimm were now constantly drawn towards the negativity in the city. An unfortunate fate for a once thriving metropolitan area and economy. It now stood as a reminder of just how quickly things can come crashing down around you if you don't take certain measures of ensuring peace.

That... was 3 weeks ago.

*end flashback*

Ruby's eyes were wide with Shock before turning to sadness.

"So... we weren't able to stop it then?," Ruby asked solemnly.

Odyn put his hand on Ruby's head as he smiled at her.

"Unfortunately, No. But.. as I recall... Someone said they'd work to end the war so elves and humans could understand each other?," Odyn replied.

Ruby giggled at this.

"Yeah, I did. And I mean it too. You'll... help me, right?," Ruby asked.

Odyn smiled back at her.

"Of course I will, silly. Who do you think I'm here for?," Odyn replied.

Ruby smiled at him.

"Thank you, Odyn...," Ruby said as the couple smiled at one another.

Odyn's smile then disappeared,  which worried Ruby.

"Now that said... Ruby, you do know what's happening to you, right?," Odyn asked serious.

"What's happening to me.... what do you mean by that, Odyn?," Ruby asked confused.

"Like... have you noticed anything different about yourself recently?," He asked.

Ruby thought about that for a moment before realizing what Odyn was asking her. He was just concerned about her, nothing to be scared of.

"Well... now that you mention it... I did notice that my hair is... longer? Which, is that.. even possible? And a noticed there was white.. or was it silver in my hair recently?," Ruby said in thought.

Odyn nodded, almost as if taking in the information and storing it in his head.

"Anything else you noticed?," He asked.

Ruby thought about it before speaking again a finger on her chin in thought.

"Hmmm.... Oh! My legs and arms have started to hurt for some reason. And my head started throbbing yesterday for some odd reason after we left Beacon.," Ruby asked.

Odyn was then serious.

"Yesterday? Ruby, do you not know how much time's passed since we had to flee Beacon?," Odyn asked.

"Um.. 12 hours maybe?," Ruby answered honestly confused.

Odyn sighed before looking back at his girlfriend and revealing the truth.

"The Fall of Beacon and the destruction of Vale was 3 weeks ago. It's been almost a month since then.," Odyn revealed.

Ruby's eyes widened.

"What the... 3 WEEKS?! Was... that how long I was out for?," Ruby asked shocked.

Odyn nodded.

"Yes. Should've seen your dad, he was scared you wouldn't wake up again. I've never seen your dad so anxious before.," Odyn told her.

Ruby looked down in thought before looking at her reflection in the mirror. She gasped slightly. She... did have silver in her hair, but it looked cool to her. It was just at the tips of her hair and mixed in with the red highlights she normally wore in her hair. It.. was longer than Ruby remembered,  going down past her shoulders now. While not quite the same length as Yang's was, it had grown significantly in her slumber.

She turned her head slightly and flinched in surprise upon seeing that her ears had grown... pointed? What was going on?

"Um... Odyn... what is happening to me? Why are my ears ... like yours now?," Ruby asked in a bit of a panic.

Odyn gently grabbed her by the shoulders and looked at her.

"Ruby, please calm yourself!," Odyn said shaking her slightly.

Ruby then took a deep breath in before exhaling. Now feeling calmer, she listened.

"Feeling better now, more relaxed?," Odyn asked.

Ruby nodded.

"Yeah.," Ruby replied now calm.

"I need you to listen to me and... try not to freak out by what I'm about to say, okay?," Odyn requested.

She nodded.

"I'll... try for your sake, Odyn.," Ruby answered.

"I think by us.. becoming intimately involved with each other, I inadvertently caused your blood to change.,"Odyn explained.

Ruby raised a puzzled eyebrow, clearly confused.

"You... changed my blood by us becoming intimate?," Ruby asked puzzled.

Odyn nodded.

"Umm... explain how. I mean the only thing we've done is share a few kisses with each other...," Ruby said blushing but still confused as to her her blood was changed.

"Well... that's just it. I think by doing that, my DNA entered into your blood. Something you should know is  elven blood, particularly Dark Elven blood... is extremely potent with magic. It's normally poisonous to humans to injest. And yet... you're fine.," Odyn said in explanation.

"If Dark Elven blood is so poisonous to injest for humans.. why wasn't I affected like most people would be?," Ruby asked.

"Well, you were. Just... in a vastly different way. It's rare that it happens, but... you must be the rare case because of your unique blood as a human.," Odyn said before continuing.

"What's rare?," Ruby replied even more curious.

" Instead of being sick for a period of time... your bloodline due to your silver eyes enhanced the changes to your body that are occurring. In other words...," Odyn said hoping Ruby would pick up on his thought.

"I'm becoming like you, Odyn?," Ruby answered in realization.

"Yes, little rose. Your blood has begun to change you from a human into an elf.," Odyn explained.

Ruby's eyes widened in surprise.

"What? So.. in other words, I...," Ruby said trailing off.

Odyn nodded solemnly.

"Yeah. You... won't be human for much longer. Your eyes will stay the same color and have the same properties, but you won't be a human being any more.," Odyn explained.

Ruby looked down in thought.

"You'll be... looked down upon by humans for being an elf. No doubt, you'll be subject to words and opinions that... you never thought you'd hear people say to you. It's... not an enviable position, trust me. I've been subjected to it ever since I was young.," Odyn said.

Ruby looked back at Odyn.

"While that's surprising and hurts to hear I'll be viewed that way... If it means I can be with you longer Odyn, I don't really care.," Ruby said as she hugged him.

Odyn smiled at her.

"That means alot coming from you, little rose. Since you'll be an Elf soon... that means you will need an Elven name.," Odyn told her as he began to think.

The name then suddenly just came to him as he spoke it without thinking.

"Amethyst. But I'll call you Amè.. (Ah- May) for short.," Odyn said.

Ruby felt something inside her shift when Odyn said that name. She embraced him again and smiled.

"Thank you, Odyn...," She said embracing him.

He chuckled and tusseled her hair, an action Ruby had grown accustomed to during their relationship.

"You're welcome, my little rose.," Odyn replied smiling and returning the hug.

Ruby looked up at Odyn again.

"I'd like to see how Yang is doing, would you mind helping me Odyn? I.. don't know if I can walk on my own just yet.," Ruby asked.

He nodded and helped to stabilize her as her feet touched the floor for the first time in nearly a month. She'd have to re-learn how to walk due to not using her legs for a few weeks.

"Of course, Ruby. I'm here for you, after all.," Odyn replied.

"Hee hee! I know you are, Odyn.," Ruby said giggling happily in response.

The dark elf helped Ruby along as she began to walk towards her sister's room. Outside the door, Taiyang was smiling seeing how well Ruby and Odyn got along. They reminded him alot of himself and Summer when they were that age. Conversely, the same as him and Raven too before she left for some unknown reason.

Yang's Room...

Yang sits alone in a spare bedroom, staring out a window. Her remaining piece of Ember Celica rests on the nightstand next to the bed. Roy stands behind her his crimson hair now down to his shoulders in length. Though, he did have a portion of it tied into a small ponytail in the back.

Roy had finished telling her what had transpired after she fell unconscious due to losing an arm.

"I see... so that's what happened. Blake ran away..," Yang said bitterly.

Roy sighed.

"Look Yang, Blake is just scared right now. She'll come back, I promise. That's why Shallot went after her. You have to understand that you weren't the only one traumatized by what happened with Adam.," Roy said sighing.

Roy then looked behind him to see Ruby and Odyn, nodding quietly he smiled at them.

"I'll come back later, okay. Just... try not to beat yourself up about it, okay? It hurts seeing you like this as your friend.," Roy said as he walked out of the room.

Upon exiting, he tapped Odyn's shoulder. The two brothers silently agreed that they'd talk about what changes occurred within Ruby later. For now the dark elf went to go find Taiyang.

Ruby stood in the doorway, supported by Odyn so she wouldn't fall suddenly.

"Yang?," Ruby asked.

Yang turns her head to look at her younger sister, tears now in her eyes. Ruby runs over and hugs her. The blonde noticed Odyn in the doorway, simply nodding towards Ruby. The blonde got the message. He was just here to support Ruby, not interrupt their time as sisters.

"I'm glad, you're okay!," Ruby said.

Yang looks down.

"But I'm not.," Yang replied.

Ruby frowns and releases the hug.

"What do you mean you're not Okay, Yang? Talk to me.," Ruby said now frowning.

"It's all gone - the school, Penny, Pyrrha,  and...," Yang said as she looks down at her arm with tears in her eyes.

Ruby then spoke again.

"Um.. Yang, about Pyrrha... Odyn told me what happened.  She didn't actually die.," Ruby said.

Yang eyes widened as she looked at her sister.

"Huh?," Yang said confused.

"She was about to but then Odyn's sister, Sarai, who had been sleeping inside Pyrrha's Soul saved her.," Ruby explained.

"What?," Yang asked.

"It's true. I'd know my sister's energy anywhere. She was able to save Pyrrha by taking over her body just before Cinder was able to kill her.," Odyn confirmed.

"So you see, Pyrrha's still alive. She's just... the same person as Sarai now. They had to fuse in order to save Pyrrha. They became one person. So it's still technically Pyrrha, but she just has Sarai's soul connected to her now.," Ruby said.

"That's great and all but.. Penny...," Yang said.

"Nothing happened to her. Sarai interfered before anything could happen to Penny.," Ruby said before looking at Yang.

"Where are Weiss and Blake?," Ruby asked.

Yang briefly looked away from Ruby before she sighed and then responded.

"Weiss's Father came for her which according to Roy lead to some... very serious complications...," Yang said.

"You mean war between the elves and Atlas, right?," Ruby asked.

Yang looked at Ruby a little surprised.

"Rubes, how do you..,"Yang started to ask before her sister answered her.

"Odyn told me what happened while I was unconscious.," Ruby replied.

Yang looked down again.

"So.. then you already know where Blake is then.," Yang said.

"Maybe, but I want to hear it from you Yang...," Ruby said worried.

"Blake ran! Sun saw her go. After we got to the city, she just... ran!," Yang said with tears in her eyes.

The blonde was clearly still upset that her friend and partner just abandoned them because she was scared.

"But... why!?," Ruby asked also upset.

"I don't know.. and frankly, I don't care.," Yang said upset.

"Yang... there has to be some mistake! Surely there's a reason..," Ruby said before Yang cut her short again.

"No, there doesn't! Sometimes bad things just happen, Ruby!," Yang snapped.

Something rose up inside of Ruby and she snapped without thinking.

"No. You're wrong, Yang! You can believe that if you like, but I don't believe that bad things just happen. Not for a second! And you shouldn't either!," Ruby said.

Yang's eyes widened as Ruby pulled back as if she came out of a trance. Ruby looked worried as she was going attempt to apologize for her outburst when Odyn intervened for her.

"Ruby, mind staying put for a sec? Im gonna borrow your sister for a few minutes.," Odyn said.

"Uh... sure?," Ruby said confused.

Odyn walked over to Yang and whispered to her about what was going on with Ruby.

"You'll have to forgive your sister, Yang, Ruby's going through some... changes as you can tell.," Odyn whispered.

Yang briefly looked back at Ruby.

"Yeah... what's up with the long hair and her ears? They.. look kinda like yours.," Yang asked curious.

"I explianed this to Ruby, but.. your sister won't be human anymore here soon.," Odyn whispered back.

"What?! Did something happen to her?," Yang asked shocked in a whisper.

"Nothing life threatening, I assure you. But.. it is kinda my fault that she's begaun to change so drastically.," Odyn said.

"Your fault, how? What did you do, Odyn?," Yang asked.

"Well uh... it's a result of Ruby and myself becoming intimately involved with each other that causing these changes.," Odyn said.

"Intimately... involved? No way... did the two of you actually "do it" with each other?," Yang whispered.

Odyn blushed before answering.

"N-No! Of course not! I wouldn't do that to Ruby, not now. We're not even married yet, Yang. The only thing we've done is "share some kisses with each other" as your sister put it. But I think Ruby's unique blood is assisting in her change due to my dna entering into her blood. Normally, that's impossible because dark elven blood is poisonous to humans. Her unique blood i think protected her and... due to the magic in dark elven dna... you can guess where this leaves her.," Odyn whispered with a blush initially.

Yang widened her eyes in realization.

"So Rubes is becoming an elf? That's why her ears look like yours?," Yang asked in a whisper.

Odyn nodded.

"Yeah. I think this is a side effect of that, though it's rare that a human is turned into an elf because of it. I had to give her a name befitting of her soon to be elven blood. Hence, her outburst at you just now.," Odyn explained.

Yang said nothing and simply nodded as they finished whispering.

Odyn walked back to the doorway and stood there as Ruby looked to him. He nodded for the sisters to continue their talk.

"So.. what do we do now?," Ruby asked.

"You two can do whatever you want, I'm just gonna lie here...," Yang said.

Ruby's eyes looked at the back of her sister in concern.

"Yang...," Ruby said.

Yang briefly turned around and looked at her sister. She becoked Ruby to come towards her, which she did.

The blonde sighed.

"Look at you... Everything has already gone wrong and now... *sniffles* I found out that my little sister is.. turning into an elf?," Yang said trying to hold back the tears that formed in her eyes.

Ruby hugged Yang, tears forming in the corners of her eyes during the embrace.

"Even when I do become one of Odyn's kin, you'll always still be my big sister Yang...," Ruby said doing her best not to cry.

The sisters stayed like that for a long minute before pulling back from the hug. Ruby looked to yang before the blonde turned around.

"Let us know if you need anything else...," Ruby said.

"I.. need some time, Ruby. Please just leave me alone for now...," Yang said.

Ruby looked down saddened by this, but she understood.  Yang was probably going through alot right now, she needed time to recover.

Ruby, helped by Odyn to walk, slowly left the room. Not before pausing, looking over her shoulder to say one last thing to her sister.

"I love you, Yang...," She said before being helped out of the room by Odyn.

Outside the door, Roy stood there crossing his arms with his eyes closed having listened in on the last bits of their conversation.  He looked towards Odyn.

"You're going then, brother?," He asked.

Odyn nodded.

"Yeah. Someone has to stay with Ruby. You never know what she might get into if one of us isn't there to support her reckless ventures.," Odyn said.

Roy chuckled.

"True enough. When are the two of you leaving?," Roy asked.

"Probably come the spring. Winter can be a hard time to travel, best to do so when we're at full strength.," Odyn said in response.

"What about you, Roy?," Ruby asked.

"I'll stay with Yang, someone has to get her back to the firecracker we know.," Roy said.

"Best of luck to you, Roy. (They fist bump) Try not to keep us waiting too long, alright?," Odyn said.

Roy smirked.

"No promises,  but I'll do my best to get Yang back to her old self.," Roy said.

Odyn and Ruby walked away as Roy sighed.

"Right then. Guess I have to do what I can to support Yang, she's gonna need it.," Roy said to himself.

A leaf falls from the tree outside Yang's window and slowly drifts to the ground. Over time, the ground becomes covered in snow.

Time skip: several months later....

Ruby steps outside, wearing a backpack, and quietly shuts the front door. Odyn is there waiting for her along with several other of her friends.

Among her friends there was Nora and Ren, Sarai, Jaune, Flare, Baron, Hailfire, and lastly Odyn who walked out of the door with her.

"Hey.," Jaune said.

"Hey there, Jaune. Haven's a long way to go, are you sure that you want to come along?," She asked.

Jaune looked to Sarai, who smiled.

"Yeah. Besides...(looks at Sarai) I know that's what Pyrrha would want, for me to move on if she were still herself.," Jaune said feeling the hand of Sarai on his shoulder.

"The Journey will be dangerous, fraught with perils and whatnot. Whether we find the answers we seek at the end remains to be seen.," Ren said.

"And we're all going to see this through.," Baron said.

"All of us want to know the truth, just like you two do.," Flare said.

"Wouldn't be worth it if a little danger wasn't involved, right?," Hailfire added.

"None of us would be here if we weren't up for it.," Nora said.

"You ready, Ruby?," Odyn asked.

Ruby nodded.

"Yeah, let's get this started.," Ruby replied as the group then begins their trek down the road leading away from Taiyang's home.

" A smaller, more honest soul... It's true that a simple spark can ignite hope, breathe fire into the hearts of the weary. The ability to derive strength from hope is undoubtedly mankind's greatest attribute. Which is why I will focus all of my power... to snuff it out."

As the above is spoken, Taiyang is seen bringing breakfast to Ruby's bedroom, but suddenly drops it when he sees she's not there. The concerned father then runs out of the room, unaware of the note Ruby left behind on her bed. As Taiyang runs past Yang's bedroom, she notices a raven perched on a branch, before watching it fly off. Roy then comes into her room, making the blonde turn towards him and give a small smile.

"How will your group fare, I wonder? With the flames of hatred and war less than a breath away and raging ever so violently?"

A scene of Atlas troops and dark elven soldiers running towards each other as they cut down one another in cold blood plays. It pans to Berethon extending his sword forward and charging as Hyatan and the other elven troops follow behind him. Atlas ships and Elven ships firing lasers at each other in the sky before the scene transitions again.

"How does it feel, knowing that all of your time and effort has been for nothing? That your guardians have failed you? That everything you've built will be torn down before your very eyes? Your faith in mankind was not misplaced. When banded together, unified by a common enemy, they are a noticeable threat. But divide them, place doubt into their minds, and any semblance of power they once had will wash away."

Grimm are seen marching toward the ruins of Beacon. In Vale, Glynda is seen trying to repair a shop with her telekinesis, but fails to hold it together. Elsewhere, Blake is seen running across rooftops. She stops to notice Beacon in the distance before continuing onward. Weiss is then shown sitting in a passenger plane with her father.

The group of saiyans with Neptune are seen to be training before shifting to a shit of them walking down a road and talking. Elsewhere, Shallot, Sun, and Jinjer are seen sprinting out of Vale in pursuit of Blake. They are seen taking out any Grimm in their way.

"Of course, they won't realize it at first. Like you, they'll cling to their fleeting hope, their aspirations. But this is merely the first move."

Ruby is seen to visiting her mother's grave as Odyn reaches out a hand towards her, which she accepts. The group of Baron, Flare, Hailfire, Sarai, Jaune, Ren, and Nora are seen waiting for the two as they walk back to the group.

"So you send your guardians, your Huntsmen and Huntresses, and when they fail and you turn to your smaller soul, know that you send her to the same pitiful demise. No matter who guards her, the result will be the same.,"

The scene then shifts revealing an ominous-looking stone stairway lined with dark, purple crystals. The camera pans up revealing a figure in black overlooking a barren wasteland.

"This is the beginning of the end, Ozpin..." the narrator pauses before she turns to the audience and continued. "And I can't wait to see you burn...", the Narrator finished.

Her eyes glow ominously as she makes an evil grin, before the screen cuts to black and the end credits roll before the title card of Flame and Crimson lights up the screen.

After the credits, Qrow is seen watching Ruby and her friends continuing on their journey. He then holds up Ozpin's cane, before jumping from the cliff. A crow takes his place and flies towards Ruby's group.

Elsewhere....

An unknown figure with several horns on his head is seen to be meditating. A messenger comes in and knelt in front of him.

"Y-Your Excellency! We've found them, our two targets are headed towards Mistral!," The messenger said.

The figure chuckled and smiled, showing his teeth. Shadows ran across his being. He stood to his feet as his red eyes then glowed ominously.

"So.. you've made your move, eh dark elves? Very well then... we shall respond in kind!," the figure said turning announcing to his troops.

"Attention all forces! Now is our time! Let us... say hello to remant and snuff out that false queen! Or my name isn't Thanatos, one of Lord Mordred's heavenly kings!," The demon said.

The devil army roared with approval, their eyes gleaming like crimson moons. They began their march as Thanatos cackled in delight.

"I do hope you are ready, Remnant... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!," The Devil laughed darkly.

The screen then goes black with the words To Be Continued in Volume 4...

Has the underworld finally made their move? What do they want with Odyn and Ruby? Will Salem have her desire fulfilled or... will a 3rd party enter the fray and dispose of her?

The war between Atlas and the dark elves will continue on, but what lasting effect will it have on Remnant's residents?
