Fate: Zero to Hero

Chapter 218: Architect part 2

The Architect's six arms moved with terrifying precision, each one holding a different weapon. In a blink, the massive stone deity struck, its weapons aimed directly at Ritsuka. The force was overwhelming, but before Ritsuka could react, a shadowy blur swept him out of the way. The air around him felt like it was ripping apart.

"NO!" Ritsuka shouted, but the words died in his throat as Ddrake, the mighty shadow dragon, was struck down with brutal force. The colossal dragon was cleaved into six pieces, its body disintegrating with a sickening crunch.

For a moment, the battlefield was silent, but that silence was quickly shattered by an earth-shattering roar. The remains of the shadow dragon started to regenerate, its body reforming from the depths of Ritsuka's shadow with unnatural speed. Ddrake's eyes glowed, and it let out a ferocious scream—a battle cry that reverberated through the ground and into the heavens, a signal to all of Ritsuka's forces that they were not out of the fight yet.

Ritsuka clenched his fists, his jaw set. "Everyone, close your ears!" he shouted, his voice hoarse.

Quickly, each of Ritsuka's allies complied, covering their ears in time to brace for what was about to come. Noivern, ever the loyal companion, landed next to Ritsuka, his wings beating with the force of a thunderstorm. The shadow bat dragon took a deep breath, his chest expanding before he unleashed a devastating AoE sound wave attack. The force of it was almost unbearable, and the sheer power of the sonic blast made the very air vibrate.

The shockwave reverberated across the battlefield, but those who had their ears protected—whether with their hands, shadow magic, or other means—were able to withstand the attack. The result was immediate: the statues staggered, disoriented and momentarily thrown off balance. Some even began to crack under the force of the sonic barrage.

Ritsuka's eyes narrowed as he surveyed the battlefield, noticing the staggered movement of the Architect's statues. "Now's our chance!" he yelled, rallying his forces. "Push forward!"

The battle had taken a dark turn, but with the Architect's attention temporarily broken, Ritsuka saw an opening. His servants, led by the roaring Ddrake and the tireless Bellion, pressed forward with renewed vigor. The tide of battle was shifting—albeit slowly—and Ritsuka wasn't going to let up until the Architect was brought to its knees.

Loki looked at Ritsuka as he spoke. "Securely what the hell is your Shadow's made out of".

Ritsuka looked at him as he spoke. "As long I have Mana, my Umbrel summons can keep regenerating, no matter how many piece's they can be ripped into".

Loki raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed and slightly unnerved. "That's… insane," he muttered under his breath, watching the shadow creatures rebuild themselves after each devastating blow.

Ritsuka smirked, a hint of pride in his voice. "It's the power of shadows and will. My Umbrel summons aren't bound by conventional limits—they feed off my mana and can regenerate as long as I have enough energy to fuel them. Each of them is tied to my will and the darkness around me. As long as I can draw from my shadows, they'll keep coming back. No matter how many times they're destroyed."

The Architect's six arms swung once more, smashing through the shadow warriors with brutal force, but every time a shadow soldier or dragon was cut down, another rose to take its place. The relentless regeneration began to overwhelm the Architect's statues, which were now struggling to keep up with the constantly resurrecting force that Ritsuka had unleashed.

Loki shook his head in disbelief. "And here I thought I had a handle on godly power," he remarked, his tone a mix of admiration and exasperation.

Ritsuka's grin widened. "It's not godly power, Loki. It's a combination of ingenuity, hard work, and a lot of mana."

He clenched his fist, and the shadows around him pulsed with energy. "Now, let's finish this."

With a wave of his hand, the shadow forces surged forward, pushing back the Architect's statues, and Ritsuka led his team into the fray once more.

Ritsuka's shadow forces surged with renewed intensity, their numbers constantly replenishing as they clashed against the Architect's six menacing arms. Each time the Architect's limbs struck down a shadow warrior or dragon, Ritsuka's will and mana poured into them, and they reformed, more powerful and relentless than before. The statues' attacks became more erratic as they struggled to keep pace with the endless regeneration.

Loki, watching the battle unfold, couldn't help but smirk. "Well, this is something," he muttered, dodging a falling chunk of debris from one of the statues. "But even this amount of regeneration can't last forever, can it?"

Ritsuka didn't answer immediately, his focus entirely on the battle. His eyes burned with determination as he watched the Architect's movements carefully, analyzing its patterns. "I'm counting on the fact that it won't," he said after a brief pause. "We just need to find its weak point."

The Architect's six arms continued to lash out, each wielding a different weapon—blades, maces, whips, and chains—each strike devastating enough to obliterate anything in its path. Yet, each of Ritsuka's shadow creatures fought with the same relentless tenacity, blocking, dodging, and counterattacking wherever possible.

Minamoto no Tametomo and Edmond, fighting alongside Ritsuka's other summoned servants, faced off with one of the statues holding a bow. The arrows flew fast and deadly, but Tametomo's keen eye and swordsmanship easily parried them while Edmond kept up a barrage of energy blasts, forcing the statue into a defensive posture.

Meanwhile, Brynhildr and Sigurd were locked in a fierce battle with two of the sword-wielding statues. Sigurd's sword clashed against theirs with powerful strikes, each one threatening to shatter the statues' defenses, while Brynhildr kept them distracted with her fiery magic and incredible strength.

"Ritsuka!" Brynhildr called out. "These things are tough, but I think I found something—there's a crack in the armor near their hearts!"

Ritsuka's eyes lit up at the information. "Good. Keep them busy, I'll take care of it."

With that, Ritsuka pushed forward, dodging the wild swings of the Architect's arms and making his way toward the nearest statue. He summoned his Umbrel Shadow Knights to his side, their weapons clashing with the remaining statues in an effort to clear his path.

Just as Ritsuka neared the first statue, it swung a massive hammer toward him, but Bellion appeared in front of him, swinging its massive sword with enough force to break the hammer in half.

"Nice timing," Ritsuka said, flashing a grin before diving forward. He slashed at the statue's armor, finding the crack Brynhildr had mentioned. The blade cut deep, sparks flying as the shadow magic worked in tandem with his weapon.

The statue roared, but before it could retaliate, Ritsuka brought his sword down again, severing its head. The rest of its body crumbled into pieces, defeated at last.

"Got one," Ritsuka muttered, turning his attention to the next. "Keep pushing, everyone! We're almost there!"

The fight raged on, but Ritsuka's focus remained unbroken. He could feel the tides of battle turning in his favor as more statues fell. The Architect, its true form now exposed and vulnerable, let out a deafening screech as it summoned more of its own dark power, trying to regain control of the battlefield.

But Ritsuka wasn't about to let it. With a roar, he called upon his final strategy.

"Bellion, now! All Umbrel Knights, strike together!"

Bellion, with its monstrous form, leapt into the air, swinging its massive blade in a devastating arc, cutting through the statues' defenses. The Umbrel Knights followed suit, their weapons glowing with shadow magic, and the final wave of attacks descended upon the Architect and its statues. With an explosion of light and shadow, the statues crumbled, and the Architect's six arms fell, one by one.

The Architect's eyes, glowing a bright red, seemed to flicker with desperation as the last of its defenses shattered. Its massive stone body trembled, cracks appearing all over.

"This... is not... over..." the Architect's voice rumbled from deep within, but its words were growing weaker. Ritsuka raised his sword for the final strike.

"Yes, it is," he said coolly, before swinging his blade down with all his strength.

The Architect's form shattered into a cloud of dust, its essence dissipating into the ether. Silence fell over the battlefield, the only sound being the ragged breathing of Ritsuka and his team.

Loki let out a low whistle, shaking his head in disbelief. "You really pulled it off, didn't you? You actually took down the Architect."

Ritsuka, breathing heavily but still standing tall, gave a small smile. "We all did. But it's not over yet. We still have to find the other seals."

Brynhildr appeared at Ritsuka's side, wiping sweat from her brow. "That was one hell of a fight. But you're right, we still have a long way to go."

Sigurd, his sword stained with stone dust, nodded. "And we'll get through it. Together."

Ritsuka looked out toward the horizon, determination in his eyes. "Let's move. There's no time to waste."

With the Architect's defeat, the group regrouped and pressed forward, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead in their quest to break the seals and uncover the truth behind Asgard's mysterious defenses.

Ritsuka stood poised, his gaze fixed on the distant target. With a subtle nod, he signaled to Minamoto no Tametomo, who stood ready, his mechanical eyes glowing with anticipation.

"I trust you, Master," Tametomo affirmed, his voice steady and unwavering.

Ritsuka channeled his mana into the arrow, invoking the power of Amaterasu to imbue it with divine energy. "Now, fire," he commanded.

Tametomo drew his bow with precision, his mechanical limbs moving with practiced ease. He released the arrow, which soared through the air, its trajectory guided by the divine energy infused by Ritsuka.

The arrow struck its mark with unerring accuracy, delivering a powerful blow to the target. The impact resonated with the combined might of Ritsuka's mana and Tametomo's skill, ensuring the success of their mission.

With the task complete, Ritsuka turned to Tametomo, gratitude evident in his expression. "Well done," he said, acknowledging the archer's unwavering dedication and prowess.

Tametomo nodded, his mechanical eyes reflecting a sense of fulfillment. "It was an honor to serve, Master," he replied, his voice carrying a note of respect and loyalty.

Together, they stood as a testament to the strength of their bond and the power of their combined abilities.

The Architect then screamed, as it was hit by the arrows as the flames spreed burning to its body.

Loki went to him as he spoke. "I am gonna take a wild gess and say, that black fire there won't stop hurting unthle the Architect is dead".

Ritsuka nodded firmly as he observed the Architect's agonized screams, the black flames consuming its form. "You're right, Loki. Amaterasu's flames are relentless. They won't stop until the target is completely destroyed."

Loki frowned, watching the Architect struggle against the fire, its once-menacing figure writhing in pain. "And here I thought the Architect was invincible. This is... unpleasant."

Ritsuka's gaze sharpened. "It's not just about breaking the Architect's body; it's about stopping whatever power fuels it. If we don't finish this soon, it could regenerate again, and we'll be back at square one."

"Great," Loki muttered, glancing at the rest of the statues that were still moving. "And we have a whole lot of work to do to take down all these statues while that thing burns, huh?"

Ritsuka clenched his fist, his resolve hardening. "We finish what we started. Bellion! Minamoto! Keep the pressure on. We'll dismantle the rest of these statues while the Architect is weakened."

Bellion's massive figure surged forward, his sword cleaving through another statue, while Minamoto no Tametomo's precision arrows found their marks, taking down more enemies. The battlefield had become a chaotic dance of power and destruction, with Ritsuka at the center, coordinating his forces.

As the flames of Amaterasu continued to scorch the Architect, Ritsuka took a moment to glance back at Loki. "Any ideas how we can end this faster?"

Loki smirked, eyes gleaming with mischief. "I do have a few tricks up my sleeve. But it'll require some... cooperation. You up for that?"

Ritsuka raised an eyebrow. "You're asking me if I'm up for cooperation?"

Loki chuckled. "Let's just say... the Architect might need a bit more than brute force. If you're in, we can make this end quicker than you think."

"Lead the way," Ritsuka said, his tone resolute.

With the battle still raging around them, Loki and Ritsuka stood ready to face the Architect together, knowing that only by combining their strengths would they stand a chance of truly putting an end to this once and for all.

Ritsuka then jumped up, as he hit the Architect face with a powerful punched covered as punched the Architect face, cursing it and killing to for good, as he just stood them, as all the other statues was also delt with

Loki then pointed something on the Architect Head. "There, destroyed the crystal there".

Ritsuka readys his hand, as he looked at everyone. "Everyone take care of the statue, I will do this"

Ritsuka then jumped up, as he hit the Architect face with a powerful punched covered as punched the Architect face, cursing it and killing to for good, as he just stood them, as all the other statues was also delt with each of the stature fell, as they died, as Ritsuka then covers his leg with Shadow and Sun Mage Craft

Ritsuka looked at the Architect. "Die"

He slammed his legg in the Architect head, breaking the Crystal fully and killings at, as everyone made a sighed od relief.

BB was going to fall on her back, as her mana was nearly drain, as Ritsuka catches her. "Taka some rest".

BB then wner back to Ritsuka head, seeing the fight was over, Edmond, Tametomo, Krymhilde, Tenochtitlan, Muramasa, Odysseus, Yang Guifei and Skadi follows BB lead, as then his Umbrel Summons then one by one each return to his shadow, Bellion made bow before he return, Ddrake went back to Ritsuka Shadow as well, Noivern landed next to Ritsuka, as Ritsuka bet the Dragon Bat shadow, as it also went back in Ritsuka, Sigurd and Brynhildr like Ritsuka other servant didn't go back to his, they went on the spirit from instead, the big door then opened, as Ritsuka looked at it

Loki then spoke Looking at Ritsuka. "Will, let's get moving to the door we need to reach Asgard after all".

Ritsuka looked at him as he spoke. "Yeah".

As they moved Ritsuka stopped, as he looked at the Architect, as Loki looked at him wondering what he was doing, as Ritsuka went to the Architect he wanted to try something, he knew for along time that his Necromanci are not fully that, there are other aspects, like taking other people's shadow to revive them and stupid like that.

Ritsuka then stretch out his hands as he spoke. "We have caused me enough trouble, why not make it Up".

"Arise"!.

To be frank Ritsuka didn't even know if this would work, there was no shadow to take and Architect to his knowledge was there they were not alive, as then it happened his shadow completely covered the Architect as it fixed it's body, a it then got up, covered in shadow now looking a lot like that of his other soldier, the face was now a purple colour, as just like Bellion it had that do Purple Gem in the center, as it's wings had a Purple highlight too, it's hood was not black, as like the other of Ritsuka shadow as it still had that creepy smile.

Ritsuka then looked at the other broke statue. "Arise!".

As then all the Shadows got up, as one by one they all did, as they then went inside of Ritsuka, as Ritsuka looked at the Architect as he spoke. "From now on your name will be, 'Geneshī'"

Loki whistled as he watched the Architect—no, Geneshī—rise from the shadows, now bound to Ritsuka's will. "You're really something else, you know that?" he muttered, crossing his arms.

Ritsuka exhaled as he felt the weight of the new summon settle into his shadow network. Geneshī stood motionless for a moment before taking a knee, its eerie grin remaining as it awaited orders.

Loki smirked. "So? How does it feel, raising a nightmare like that?"

Ritsuka flexed his fingers, feeling the dark energy pulsing from Geneshī. "Stronger than I expected. It's different from my other Umbrel summons… There's something ancient about it."

Loki rolled his eyes. "Yeah, well, it was an Architect. Those things don't just exist—they shape things. Be careful with that one, Ritsuka. It might listen to you now, but I wouldn't trust it completely."

Ritsuka didn't answer immediately. Instead, he looked at Geneshī and gave his first command. "Stay in the shadows until I call for you."

Geneshī nodded, its massive body dissolving into the darkness, leaving only that lingering grin behind. With all the other statues also absorbed into his shadow army, Ritsuka turned back toward the door.

"Alright," he said, rolling his shoulders. "Let's get to Asgard."

Loki chuckled as he walked beside him. "After pulling a stunt like that? I almost feel bad for Thor."

Ritsuka smirked. "He should be."

With the massive doors now open, the path to Asgard lay before them. Whatever awaited beyond, Ritsuka knew one thing—he was ready.

To continue hope people like this Ch and give me power stones and enjoy
