POV Richard
Richard woke up in a void. He was engulfed in absolute darkness, so deep that it seemed to have swallowed even his sense of body. He should have been terrified, but he felt nothing; it was as if this emptiness had consumed all his emotions. He looked around, but saw nothing but pitch-black. In this profound silence, only the sound of his own breaths echoed, strangely soothing in this weightlessness and numbness.
"I'm dead," he thought to himself as he tried to move. This sentence made him think in a strange way. He thought about his life. How pitiful it was! He had spent his whole life trying to get rich. While his friends were partying, he was studying. Now it seemed that all those efforts were easily lost. He felt as if all his efforts had been wasted and left him with nothing.
"But that doesn't matter anymore. What should I do now? How long do I have to float here?" Richard immersed himself in his thoughts with a sense of boredom. He remembered how, as a teenager, he always wished to become a hero one day, someone with power and status, someone others would respect. But now, in this endless void, none of those dreams seemed to matter.
Suddenly, an emotionless voice echoed in his ears.
"Looks like you're awake. Let me ask you a question: Do you desire a power beyond that of a human?" the unknown voice said.
Richard frowned and replied, "Who are you?" He couldn't understand where this voice was coming from or why it was asking such a question.
The emotionless voice continued, "It doesn't matter who I am. Richard, do you want power beyond that of a human?"
These words made Richard ponder. He had worked hard all his life to reach a high position. Abandoned by his parents as a child, life had taught him that without power and status, one could easily be discarded by others. In his free time, he watched anime and envied the characters who possessed powers beyond human comprehension.
With a smirk, Richard said, "Of course I want power." He thought that if he were granted power, he could change his life and achieve everything he had always desired.
The unknown voice continued in the same tone, "Then let's spin the wheel. The wheel will determine your identity, the world you will enter, and your power."
Suddenly, a wheel appeared in front of Richard. It had titles of various worlds like Naruto, One Piece, Fate, and so on, along with powers like Sharingan, Bloodline Limit, Rick's Intelligence, and Cosmic Power written on it. This wheel symbolized his fate.
The voice asked, "Richard, do you want the wheel to spin?"
With excitement in his voice, Richard replied, "Yes!"
The wheel began to spin. When the pointer landed on the Marvel and DC worlds, Richard felt a pang of anxiety. He remembered how much he loved those worlds, but now, on the brink of entering one of them, fear and despair washed over him. Fortunately, the pointer stopped on the Fate world.
"Alright, this world is dangerous, but better than Marvel and DC. The risk level in these worlds is much higher." Richard sighed in relief.
The pointer began to spin again for the power. He passed by the weakest powers until it landed on the pattern of Ragna from the anime Ragna Crimson. Richard was astonished. How could he, someone who had watched countless anime, not recognize Ragna? Ragna, from the world of Ragna Crimson, was an incredibly powerful dragon slayer who had transcended human limitations and reached the peak of swordsmanship. Someone like Ragna could easily destroy large cities.
For a world like Fate, this pattern was extraordinarily powerful. While Richard was thrilled, he thought, "This is amazing! If I have Ragna's power, I can achieve anything I want."
The unknown voice said, "Now it's time for your identity."
The wheel spun again and landed on Heroic Spirit. Richard felt his heart race.
The emotionless voice coldly stated, "This is the beginning of your journey, Richard. I hope you can fulfill your wishes."
With those words, the void began to shatter, and Richard was pulled into the broken places. He felt as if he was entering a new world, a world where he could achieve his dreams and change his destiny. A new hope formed in his heart; hope for a better future and a life filled with adventure and power.
He told himself, "This is the beginning of a new journey; this time, I am the hero of my own story."
Throne of Heroes: A Place Outside Time
Richard slowly awakened, feeling his mind filled with Ragna's memories. Experiences, desires, and grudges of Ragna were vividly etched in his mind. He had even inherited Ragna's appearance; the white hair and blue eyes now belonged to him. Richard clenched his fist and said firmly, "From now on, I am Ragna."
He decided to take a look at his stats and information.

Richard thought to himself, "Wow, I'm really strong! But how is it possible that I have magical energy? As far as I remember, Silverians rejected magic. It must be the work of that unknown voice."
Ragna's eyes began to shine. He knew the validity of his power, but in the world of Fate, there were many monsters, and he shouldn't let pride get to him. He needed to become stronger.
He recalled the Holy Grail War. "To get stronger, I need to participate in the Holy Grail War. There are many opportunities there." But suddenly, a thought struck him: "How can I participate in the Holy Grail War?"
Ragna froze in frustration, veins bulging on his forehead as he shouted angrily, "That damn voice didn't tell me how to do it! Damn it, am I going to be stuck here forever?"
"Focus, Ragna. Focus!" he told himself, trying to concentrate his thoughts.
Suddenly, he felt an unclear connection forming. He followed this connection, and a clone of himself began to be summoned while he infused his consciousness into the clone, smiling as he said, "Inhabitants of Fate, I'm coming!"
