Fairy Tail: Strongest Creature

Chapter 52: It's Miserable

Hearing Su Yan's words, Ultear's heart shook again.

If someone else said this, she would definitely think that the other party was shameless or crazy.

Grimoire Heart has the Seven Kin of Purgatory, each of them a powerful wizard, and there is Vice-Chairman Bluenote, who is even stronger.

Then there is President Hades, a super-strong mage close to the abyss of magic.

But the words came out of Su Yan's mouth, and Ultear couldn't help but feel that the other party might actually be able to do it.

For Su Yan, his purpose was simple: destroy Grimoire Heart.

Grimoire Heart, who committed countless heinous sins, later became an enemy of Fairy Tail.

Hades seriously injured the old man. Based on this alone, Grimoire Heart deserved to be destroyed. Many members of the guild were also gravely wounded by them.

Of course, these are things that haven't happened yet, but they can be prevented before they occur. So why wait for the other party to come to them?

One more thing—their actions had brought the black dragon Acnologia into the picture.

The ultimate big boss in this Fairy Tail story.

Even at the end, it was only killed by the plot. Su Yan had spent all these years becoming stronger to one day kill the black dragon Acnologia, protect the Fairy Tail guild, and, by extension, protect the world.

However, recalling the sheer power of the black dragon Acnologia, even he did not yet have the confidence to defeat it.

So, it was best to delay its emergence for a few more years. When he had gained more attribute points and grown stronger, he would fight the dragon.

"Boom--!!"

The entire ruins shook. With just a few attacks, Su Yan destroyed the main supports of the structure, and the ruins, abandoned for years, began to collapse.

"Crack!" A huge rock fell from the sky and hurtled toward Lucy.

"Wow!" Lucy screamed in horror at the sight.

"Boom!!"

Su Yan appeared beside Lucy and smashed the rock with a single punch. When he turned to look at Ultear, she had already disappeared.

At this moment, the shaking stopped, and everything around began to recover quickly. In a blink of an eye, even the sections Su Yan had destroyed were restored to their original state.

"Arc of Time..." Su Yan muttered. The magic of time truly was incredible.

He realized that the collapse just now wasn't a coincidence; it had been Ultear's magic, intended as a diversion to escape.

Su Yan activated his Haki. Due to its low level, his Observation Haki didn't have as many special effects, but its range was sufficient. Soon, Su Yan locked onto Ultear's presence—she was fleeing toward the outskirts of Galuna Island.

But then Su Yan frowned and decided to temporarily give up the idea of chasing her.

Top layer of the ruins

"What!!"

Gray was startled to see the ground, which had been broken just moments ago, fully restored.

"Is it Zalty?"

Seeing the restored ground, Leon speculated that it must have been Zalty's magic. Zalty was always shrouded in mystery, but Leon didn't care about his motives, as long as it helped him unseal Deliora.

"ICEMAKE · Hammer Soldier!!"

A magic circle appeared above Gray, and a massive hammer made of ice dropped from the sky, hurtling toward him.

"ICEMAKE · Great Ape!"

Leon conjured an ice ape behind him, its massive arms raised to block the attack.

"Boom--!!"

"Crack Kacha!"

The ice hammer and the ape's arm shattered simultaneously, neutralizing each other.

"Still using your hands to activate magic like before," Leon scoffed.

"That's what Ur taught us, isn't it? You lose balance if you model with one hand!" Gray countered.

"ICEMAKE · Lancer!!"

Dozens of ice spears shot from Gray's hands.

Leon dismissed the attack with a wave. "I've already surpassed Ur. My ability is beyond her level."

"ICEMAKE · Big Eagle!!"

Leon created a massive ice eagle, which clashed with the spears in midair, canceling them out.

"Leon, what are you trying to do?!" Gray demanded.

Leon slowly removed his helmet, revealing his face. "Don't you know already? Surpassing Ur is my dream. But you took that from me. Now I can never surpass her."

"So, there's only one way. Deliora, the monster even Ur couldn't defeat—if I can destroy it, I'll finally surpass her, and my dream will come true."

His eyes gleamed with a wild, obsessive light.

Gray was stunned. "Are you serious? This is your purpose? You're going to throw away Ur's sacrifice for something so trivial?!"

"Stop it! You can't beat Deliora!"

Leon's expression twisted with rage. He raised a hand, summoning sharp chunks of ice around Gray.

"Wow!"

"You call my dreams trivial? You tell me to stop? Ten years away, and you've grown arrogant, Gray!"

"You haven't forgotten, have you? It was your foolishness that drove Ur to sacrifice herself for Deliora in the first place!"

"You're not worthy of speaking her name! Disappear, Gray! Disappear!!"

"Uhhhhhhh!!"

Gray screamed as the ice attacks struck him, sending him sprawling to the ground.

Suddenly, Su Yan's voice rang out near Gray. "You got beaten pretty badly, Gray."
