- Stupid!" whispered Rick quietly, clenching his fist.

- Oh, that's it huh? - came the surprised voice of Carl, who chuckled and walked over to the pile of stuff. A grey magic circle lit up on his hand.

- The Rejection Point.

The things that had covered Eros began to fly off in different directions, revealing the boy's bloody body with many bruises and wounds. His breathing was very weak and confused.

- Wow, you're still alive! Amazing! - Karl exclaimed joyfully, clapping his hands, "Have you decided to give me a present and let me torture myself before I die? - he approached the boy's body, - But you shouldn't have, you surprised me and amused me at the same time, so I will kill you quickly, as a thank you, - he crouched over the titan's body and pulled out a dagger, - This dagger has already taken many lives and you will be the next... - his smile became very bloodthirsty, - Thank you for amusing me, now say goodbye and blame yourself and only yourself for your death!

The dagger was approaching Eros's heart at a very fast speed, but at the last moment, when there were millimetres left, two fireballs hit Carl's hand at the same time, which managed to change the trajectory of the dagger and plunged it into the ground a centimetre away from Eros's body.

- I didn't expect two traitors," Carl smirked, looking to his right where he saw Rick trembling with his arm outstretched, and then to his left where one of the C-rank mages, Rani, was standing, "I see, but I didn't expect that from you, Rani, I thought you were smarter than that," the guild master said wryly.

- Fuck you! You kidnapped me and forced me to join your guild, and now you're trying to tell me something?! - Rani shouted angrily, firing another fireball, but Carl had no trouble fending it off.

- Heh, then you'll be an example to the rest of the guild," and his bloodlust spread throughout the guild, "That betraying me is the worst possible offence and the punishment for it is death.

- I'm not afraid of you, and if I die, at least I'll know I'm doing the right thing!

On trembling legs, Eros stood up and looked around. The first people he looked at were Rick and Rani.

- Thank you," he whispered quietly, but they heard him and responded with guilty smiles, "Now you, I want to talk to the new head of the guild," the titan said, turning his gaze to the guild mages.

- Who the hell do you think you are... - Eros shot a Bullet of Destruction at him before he could even squeak, and he found himself with a hole in his chest.

- I repeat, who is the new head of the Dark Dawn guild? - he looked at everyone until a mage in a black cloak came forward, completely covering him, behind his back he had a staff with a brown stone on top, - Nori... Yes?

- I'll take over until the rest of the guild's elite team arrives," he replied with a frown, "What did you want?

- I want to talk about a peaceful resolution to the conflict.

- Peaceful? - You killed the head of the guild, what kind of peace treaty? You should be killed right now.

- Rick, take the children and follow me," Eros said quietly and looked at Rani, "You come with us too," the titan turned and walked towards the guild exit.

- Lily let's go," Rick said dryly and walked forward.

- Okay," the two older kids nodded and ran to the back of the column.

- A few more minutes and I'll pass out," Eros whispered so that only Rani could hear him, "Be ready to pick me up and speed up, but don't leave the children behind....

- Come on hero," he whispered with amusement in his voice, "Hold on, we need to get out of their sight at least, and then faint.

- I know!" Eros hissed as he passed the threshold of the guild, he hadn't even turned around the whole time he was walking forward. He tried to pretend that he was still in good condition. His gait was firm, and his gaze was as sharp as a sword.

Rani stepped slightly away from the titan and leveled himself with the children.

- Listen carefully," he said in a serious voice, "A few more minutes and Eros will lose the last crumbs of his strength, so I recommend that you speed up a little.

- Understood," Rick answered, calling the youngest of the children and whispering something in his ear, who nodded and ran to the end of the column, "What's the plan?

- We're going west and as fast as we can.

- West, why west? - Rick asked, surprised.

- It's the largest trading city in the world, Magnolia, as well as one of the strongest light guilds, Fairy Tail, and once we get into its territory, we'll have a better chance of survival.

- Understood," Rick replied with a nod.

After explaining the plan, Rani turned back to Eros. At this moment, they were already a hundred metres away from the guild. But even now, they were acting very cautious.

When they were already a kilometre away from the guild, Eros' body swayed and began to fall, but Rani managed to pick him up.

- Rani, you know what to do, follow the plan..." the titan hissed and fainted.

- I know, come on, let's speed up!

- Mr Rani, I-I can help," Lily squeaked quietly.

- Fix him up.

- You can?! - he whispered, "Why didn't you say something?! Come on, hurry up! - With a hiccup, she ran up to Eros and stretched out her hands... Two golden magic circles appeared on her palms....

- It won't cure him instantly, but it will speed up his regeneration a lot," Lily explained, concentrating on the cure.- Let's push on," Rick said glumly, "The elite team left two days ago for the mission and at best they'll be at the guild tomorrow, and at worst in half a day, and Magnolia is at least two days away, - he turned to the children, -Let's speed up a bit, -he said softly, -And you, Lily, get on Mr Rani's shoulders, because of the treatment our speed has slowed down, and you lift Eros a bit higher, so that she could reach him with her magic.

- Okay," By doing what Rick said, their speed increased slightly, but not by much.

They were able to travel at this pace for a few hours, and then the pace gradually slowed down as the children grew tired, but even so they kept moving forward.

The next day, they crossed the Dark Forest, entering the Eastern Forest. They were exhausted, so they decided to take an hour's rest. Rani went away from the group to get something to eat to regain strength, Dean (one of the older children) went to get water, Rick stayed to guard the children, and Lily rested and restored the magical power used on Eros, but by the more lively colour of his face, it was safe to say that he was feeling better.

An hour later, they continued on their way, but at a much slower pace. It was fortunate that they had not come across any wild beasts during this time. After all, the Eastern Forest was very famous for its vast flora and fauna, especially the huge number of wild beasts, and mages weaker than B-rank should not even set foot here. Even a normal Forest Volcano or Wild Siren, could destroy this group in a couple of seconds.

After half a day, Eros began to come to his senses....

- Rick! Rani! Eros...!!!! - Lily exclaimed happily.

- WHAT?! WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIM?! - Rani asked anxiously, running up to her, and when he saw the titan's eyes opening, he was overjoyed, "You're alive, kid! We were so worried about you, - tears began to well up in the man's eyes.

- I'm not mourning you, you fool, these are tears of joy! - Raising his fist to the level of his face, Rani objected.

- We're glad you're okay," Rick said with a sad smile, "And I'm sorry," he knelt down in front of him, his forehead touching the ground.

- I told you back then that I don't blame you for anything," Eros said with a soft smile, "I made that choice myself.

- No BUTs!" said Eros angrily, "And if you keep bothering me with this, I will knock you out, change you into Lily's dress, and send you straight to the centre of Magnolia City.

- That's a different matter," the titan nodded, leaning against a tree, "And thanks to Lily for fixing me up.

- How?!" the girl asked, shocked.

- I can still feel the remnants of someone else's magical power in my body, and you smell the same, but very weakly, - Eros answered, supported by Roni, standing up, - Where are we?

- In the Eastern Forest, half a day's journey from Magnolia," Rick answered quickly.

- Good," his gaze became serious, "So soon, they should catch up with us by now.

- Yes, they are B-rangs, but don't underestimate them, these five work perfectly as a team, they can even compete with a strong A-rang mage," Rani said in a firm voice.

- I see, then we have only one choice left," his gaze fell on the trees, "Set the forest on fire.
