No one had time to notice when Eros used his spells, all they saw was a single white flash.- It's bad timing," Eros said with annoyance as he put his dagger back in its sheath and it disappeared from the titan's hand, "Okay kids, listen up," Eros clapped his hands together to get the children's attention, "Don't leave the cage until I come for you and try to be quiet.

- Aren't you going to help us? - The girl asked in surprise, stroking her hand where the creature had grabbed it.

- I would if I could, but I doubt these monsters are the strongest, I can tell you there are stronger ones here, and I can't protect you all, so it's safer for you to stay here.

- Promise me you'll come back for us.

- I can't promise what I don't know," Eros closed the cage, but he didn't put a lock on it, just tossed the keys to the girl.

He left the room with the children and went out into the dark corridor, where they were waiting for him.

- There are so many of you, I guess I was wrong to take him out so early, - the dagger reappeared in his hand and having made a leap, Eros was already standing on the shoulder of one of the monsters, and the dagger was sticking to the hilt in his head, - There is one of... Twenty-five, - but the next thing he was surprised, because the one he had just stuck the dagger in his head, gave signs of life and the titan quickly pulled out the dagger and jumped aside.

The monster with the hole in its head continued to stand as it was and even growled at him and they all attacked Eros at the same time.

The titan dodged the attacks while inflicting many wounds on the monsters, cutting nerves and aiming only at points, incapacitating individual limbs. Eros tried not to use magic, saving it for the boss. The monsters themselves moved in a monotonous pattern, so he had no trouble dodging and counterattacking back.

After five minutes, most of the creatures were lying on the floor, snarling at the Titan, and only a few were standing, but their limbs were hanging limply, and one was missing his head, but that didn't bother him.

- I feel like I'm fighting a puppet on autopilot," Eros said in mild surprise as he dodged one of them and turned around to plunge a dagger into its heart. The creature stayed on its feet for a few more seconds and fell down without giving any signs of life, and Eros felt that his magic power had recovered a little, - And in the heart, your source of power that allows you to move... How strange it all is.

Having finished the last of them, he was about to move on, but another one of the same creature came out of the corner, but here, the colour of its fur was red.

- Another one, - Eros was about to plunge his dagger into its heart, but something made him stop when it was a metre away from him, the sense of danger screaming to be careful with it, - What?! - As Eros started to retreat, the monster was already a second later standing with his paw over the titan's head, but he managed to defend himself by putting his dagger under the blow and cutting off the monster's claws.

Seeing the lack of claws, the monster roared even harder and attacked Eros sharply, he barely had time to fend off the monster's attacks.

"It's not inferior to that bear, which means..."- A satisfied smirk came out of the titan's face, and from defence, he went on the attack, but the monster was quick to dodge the attacks and not forgetting to counterattack. "I'm only slightly inferior to him physically, but I also have magic!" he raised his fist, the monster did the same, and when they collided, right in front of the creature's eyes, his fist exploded, splattering blood all around, leaving only a stump of an arm.

Jumping back, the monster began to roar towards Eros, clutching what was left of his paw.

- It's strange, you're not like the others, you're more emotional... - the monster roared and jumped towards the titan, but he quickly dodged his paw while provoking him and when the monster's patience reached the limit, Eros caught the moment and made only one lunge, cutting off the remaining arm and sharply plunged the dagger into his heart, - Thank you for your help, you've helped me a lot....

Pulling the dagger out of the creature and destroying the body just in case, he began to move slowly down the tunnel, but not even a couple of hundred metres into the tunnel, he had to stop abruptly. He looked out from around the corner and saw another creature, also dark in colour, but it was several times larger than the others. Staring slightly, Eros saw the creature's head slowly turn towards him.

The Titan pulled his head away abruptly, his heart pounding at a frantic pace.

"I hope I didn't notice..."- Even at a distance of a few dozen metres, Eros could feel the outgoing pressure from the creature and it was definitely much stronger than that red one. And it was better not to be seen by such a monster.

A minute passed and there was no reaction and when Eros was about to breathe a sigh of relief. It appeared in front of him...

- Bug, you're breathing too loud," the creature grinned and hissed.

- Shit!" Eros just didn't have time to do anything as the creature grabbed him by the head and drove him straight into the wall, and then again and again.

- Mr Astaroth has been waiting for you," it laughed and threw Eros' body on its back and walked in the only direction it knew.Eros, on the other hand, was quietly swearing in his mind, pretending to faint. While looking at the bright scarlet colour of the stone, for if the stone on the bracelet burned so brightly, it meant the second one was somewhere very close by.

"You old bastard, instead of helping your student, you hid and watched him get sealed into the wall!"- and a piece of dark cloak sticking out of one of the corners fully confirmed his theory.

The monster moved slowly down the corridors, and during the whole journey, Eros had lost count of how many turns and staircases they had made. There was only one thing on the titan's mind, where was this place?

After half an hour, they finally reached the open space, which was a giant room with a lot of tubes and vials, with contents of different colours, near the wall were several cabinets with books. In the centre of the room, there was a magic circle with a lot of writing and runes in the centre.

- Oh, you've finally caught this mouse, I'm very glad," said a pleasant, cheerful male voice, and in front of the monster appeared definitely not a man, because no man has giant horns on his head. He had ash-coloured hair covered by a burgundy hood, red eyes, and his body was almost completely covered by a light purple armour. In his hand he held a red bound book," Don't pretend to be unconscious, I'm not as brainless as this creature here.

"Shit!"- Eros hissed to himself, but didn't make a show of it.

- As you wish, it still will not save you from your fate, to become my experiment, - said the demon with disdain, - You stupid creature, put him on that table, and you little thing, - waving his hand, on his hand for a moment lit up a scarlet magic circle and at the same moment extinguished.

Eros, for the first time in his life, felt real fear, for he could not move a single part of his body, even the access to magic power was completely closed.

- That's better," when he was about to use some other spell, he stopped abruptly and his eyes lit up scarlet, "Come out, stop hiding.

For the first few seconds there was only silence, until Gildarts came out from around the corner.

- I've been spotted, and I wanted to hear you speak some more....

- Man... - frowning, the demon took a few steps back, - You are dangerous, too dangerous, - the next moment several pages flew out of the book, turning into ashes and ashes into magic circles, - Die man, blame only yourself for your death.

Many different spells flew at Gildarts, from curses to elemental attacks. But the magician grinned, his hand glowed white and exploded, consuming both Gildarts and the spells that had been thrown at him.

- Tough," the demon hissed unhappily.

As soon as the smoke cleared, the unharmed mage appeared, looking at the demon with the same smile.

- For the second time in my life I see a real demon.

- And the last, - this time, he did not use the book to create spells, but put out his palm and above the mage's head lit up a scarlet magic circle and at the same moment, under the feet of Gildarts, the stone slabs began to break, but the mage still stood relaxed.

Seeing this, the demon only tsked and waved his hand again, the pressure increased again and another magic circle appeared above Gildarts' head.

- Demon, eh? - Gildarts mockingly stretched out, - Weak, the last one was stronger, I almost died then, and you can't even stop me, - the magician calmly walked towards the demon, who at that moment began to feel fear, for the first time in his life, he was afraid of a normal person.

The next moment Gildarts disappeared and appeared right in front of the shocked demon with his fist raised. From the force of the blow, the demon was simply knocked into the opposite wall.

- Eros and how could you lose to these beasts, - the mage exclaimed reproachfully and easily destroyed the monster, he did not even notice Gildarts' movements.

The titan himself was silently swearing in his mind, perhaps for a monster like Gildarts, they were just animals, but for an "ordinary" mage like Eros, they were real monsters that he would hardly be able to defeat any time soon. Rather, they would just smash Eros on the wall without even noticing it.

- Scum... - hissed the demon sitting against the wall, - If I don't kill you today, I'll never be able to call myself a demon in my life, - his eyes were completely filled with darkness, and the air around him shook from the pressure that he emitted, - Human! Know your place!
