Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Lord of Elden.
"Die, die, die, die, die, die, how can it be that you're challenging me, you damn filler boss!"
Operating the joystick with incredible dexterity, a young man who appears to be about 16~18 years old watches the TV screen intently in a dark room.
Even with all the darkness covering the room, you can see the two large bookshelves filled with finely ordered books, the arrangement of shoes side by side, and the complete lack of chaos that normally exists in a teenage room. Yes, everything here seems to cry out for Order!.
"Van circle beast, come here~"
Speaking in a somewhat parched voice, licking his chapped lips and pressing the button running thus quickly, the TV character finally arrives in front of the Circle Beast.
Turning again and again, the character under the skillful hands of the young man finally arrives in front of the enemy recipient of all his will. Keeping his eyes open, breathing deeply and ignoring the sweat on his hands, the young man finally presses R1.
"He died... My ancestors have seen him, I have defeated him. After so much, it was 4, 8 or maybe 10. Jajajaja!"
Laughing uncontrollably, though he gently sets the joystick down on the table, the young man looks expectantly at the screen as if waiting for something.
"Here it comes, give me that platinum. Oh, right I must choose one of the endings."
Realizing his stupidity, he quickly moves the character forward to Marika's remains and at last his wishes come true. At the top left of the TV screen, a rather simple achievement appears. [Circle Lord] and a much more important one [Elden's Circle].
"Yesssss!"
Raising his hands towards the ceiling with an immense amount of energy, the young man jumps into the darkness without a care in the world and to fate did not seem to support this action, as in a strange slip the young man ended up tasting what they call a stupid death.
....Another reality and space...
The leaves of a large golden tree fall quietly, as they are guided by the spring breeze and accumulate on the ground made of stone with circular patterns.
In the center of that place, a throne stands and on it rests immobile finely equipped young man. His clothes, which clearly give him away as a wizard, have a predominance of black and gold shades and strange red gems embedded in them. (Alberich's set)
"Ha!"
Attempting to raise his body suddenly, the young man only manages to throw the katana that rested on his knees to the ground and then, as if all the energy had gone out of him, he again remains still on the throne.
The only sign of his movement was the fallen katana, making it so that anyone could overlook it.
...??? Pov...
At this moment I'm feeling what every person who woke up a few seconds ago feels, a completely empty mind and a complete indifference to everything around me.
"I... What was I doing?"
It was a strange feeling, it's like knowing you were doing something, but you don't know what that "something" is. Like having a full markup on the situation, but not having the inside of it... Strange enough to know it is, but insufficient to fall into existential doubt.
Stopping stirring my memories that seem to have been painted with a gray filter, just as if the sands of time had corroded them and left them without any meaning, he heard some hurried footsteps coming from in front.
"My lord!"
Shouting loudly towards my direction and finishing climbing the stairs that seem quite long, a being that can only be described as ugly appears in my field of vision. It is some sort of semi-human that has its entire body covered in dark hair, its face looks quite animalistic and the most remarkable thing is the human clothes it wears.
"Where do I find myself?"
"What do you mean my lord? Certainly the city of Leyndell has changed after your dream, but it maintains the same appearance as before the burning of the Golden Tree... Are you alright?"
Looking at his rather expressive face for being so... Inhuman, little flashes of memories flood my mind and these can be considered more vivid. He is Boc, a semi-human seamstress who has been in my service for quite some time.
"I'm fine Boc, just a little disoriented."
Dragging my hair back with my free hand, I notice how the silver locks are trying to escape, proving that I apparently have a long head of hair.
"Understandable after fighting Lord Godfrey, Radagon and the Circle Beast all in a row. Fear not though, the current situation can be maintained for longer and you can return to your full power."
"The current situation?"
"Oh, right, let me tell you a bit about what's been going on. After you finished repairing the Circle of elden, you have remained static on that throne for quite a few moons... I had even thought the worst."
Wiping away his tears that threaten to fall uncontrollably, Boc takes a long breath of air and in a hoarse voice continues speaking.
"In those dark moments, your summonings appeared in front of me and told me that you were fine... Though unconscious due to the last battle"
"Summonings... You speak of Tiche, Lhutel, Kristoff and Finlay."
Grabbing a handful of my silver hair, I feel those names roll off my tongue and more seem to want to come out, though in the end they don't.
"Yes, themselves, but there are also others as are Ogha, Latenna and the mimetic tear who were key to our plan."
"A plan?"
"It wasn't anything bad! Sorry, for raising my voice!"
Waving his hands to his sides uncontrollably, he calms Boc down by simply giving him a curt look and after he blurts out a few words of apology, he continues with his explanation.
"The plan was for the mimetic tear to impersonate you, thanks to this we were able to stop the instability inside Leyndell... Although outside the walls chaos reigns."
"I see a certainly efficient plan for that moment. Well done Boc."
Giving him a small smile or so I seem to have done, I watch as his eyes sparkle for a few moments and he bursts into tears right then and there.
"My... M... M... My lord!"
"Calm down Boc. Now if you have calmed down, give me a summary of what you call chaos outside the walls of Leyndell."
"My lord, I'm sorry but I only have cursory information... Boc sorry to be so useless, perhaps it would be best if you go talk to your summonings."
"I will certainly do that, but I need to have a minimal idea about what is going on."
Speaking more naturally and even noticing that my words now seem more "Human", I reassured Boc and asked him to share what little he knows.
"Well, I will be honored to tell you what little I know. This I have confirmed with my own eyes and it is about the dragon that lives outside the walls of Leyndell."
"Oh... It is the ancient dragon Lansseax."
Interrupting Boc briefly, I give him a nod to keep talking.
"Another thing I've heard at the weekly meetings is that The academy of Raya Lucaria and The family of the caria have openly rebelled against you."
"Understandable... What else?"
"News has also been circulating that Malenia "The Goddess of Putrefaction" has returned to life in the city of Elphael and that her armies dwell through the peaks of the giants."
A small shiver runs through my body upon hearing that name, but as if it were a trigger, multiple flashbacks of the one I instinctively recognize as Malenia appear in my mind. A woman with fiery red hair, her limbs are protean and her sword technique is simply perfect.
"Damn..."
"Continuing with my explanation, another topic discussed was about Rykard "The blasphemer". According to the message sent by Ogha, who has taken command of the defense forces on Mount Altus, Rykard's forces have been quite active these past few weeks."
If Malenia's memory was brilliant and does not seem easy to forget, Rykard was the complete opposite. I'm not saying it's minimally important, but it doesn't seem to have left as big an impression as Malenia.
"Anything else?"
"No... I'm sorry for not being of more help, My lord."
Shaking his head towards Boc, he lifted my body that seemed to be firmly attached to the throne and quite naturally grabbed the katana I had dropped earlier. Savoring its perfect weight on my hand, I notice how my muscles seem ready and prepared for anything, though I ignore it before placing it on my waist.
"Let 's go, Boc."
"Yes, my lord!"
