"Cosmo? Are you challenging me?" Seiya instantly understood Mika's intentions.

He wanted to experience Cosmo firsthand to awaken his own.

After all, for a Saint—awakening one's Cosmo was paramount.

"Indeed. I'd like to…experience your Cosmo," Mika replied, extending his hand with a smile.

He preferred learning from others to self-study. It was a habit he had developed thanks to Yahweh.

Therefore, he hoped to use his learning ability and vast experience—far surpassing that of an ordinary Saint, to find a shortcut to awakening his Cosmo.

"Very well. Then come and experience it!" Seiya set down the suitcase he was carrying and swung his fist.

After his battle with Shaina—he had already reached the level of Mach 1 punches, capable of delivering hundreds of punches per second.

Mika's eyes lit up as he saw the flurry of blows coming towards him. He raised his hands, his movements deceptively simple—yet he effortlessly blocked every single punch.

"....." Seiya stared at him in disbelief.

His attacks had been completely neutralized. The only person who had been able to do that before was Shaina, a seasoned Silver Saint.

But even she—couldn't match his speed. Yet, here stood Mika, not even a true Saint, effortlessly blocking his every move.

"You won't get anywhere like this, Seiya. Put on your Cloth," Mika said with a smile. He wasn't surprised by Seiya's reaction.

After all, Mika's current speed, enhanced by his nascent Cosmo, had just barely reached Mach 1.

Normally, even Level 5 adventurers in Orario—those specializing in agility, struggled to achieve such speeds.

This highlighted the power of a Saint!

However, Mika wasn't an ordinary adventurer. He was a veteran of the Hero Realm, his stats at their absolute limits. He had long since surpassed Mach 1.

Furthermore, enhanced by his other abilities, he wasn't even fazed by the speed of a Bronze Saint or even a Silver Saint whose speed was several times the speed of sound.

Only those who had achieved the Seventh Sense, the Gold Saints, could truly challenge him. After all, the difference between the speed of sound and the speed of light was immense.

However, his objective wasn't to defeat Seiya.

He wanted to experience the full power of Cosmo, which, for a Saint, reached its peak when they donned their Cloth, their energies resonating in perfect harmony.

——

"My Cloth?" Seiya's eyes sharpened as he recalled the feeling of wearing his Cloth, the power it granted him.

"Then let's do this!" He walked over to the suitcase containing his Cloth, opened it, and the gleaming bronze armor materialized before Mika.

As if responding to Seiya's will, the Pegasus Cloth disassembled and flew towards him, encasing his body in an instant.

"Excellent. Now, let me experience the Pegasus's fist!" Mika declared.

"Then try this! Pegasus Ryūsei Ken (Meteor Punch)!" Seiya unleashed his most powerful attack, a technique he had developed himself.

"Pegasus Ryūsei Ken…" Mika murmured, a smile playing on his lips.

Empowered by his Cloth and Cosmo, Seiya's punches were even faster, but to Mika—they were still predictable. Keeping one hand behind his back—he effortlessly blocked every blow with a single arm, his body unmoving.

He could feel the Cosmo flowing through Seiya's attacks, gaining a deeper understanding of its nature.

Mika was certain this experience would be invaluable for awakening his own Cosmo.

Seiya was stunned. He had just become a true Saint; this should have been his moment of triumph. But Mika's effortless defense had shattered his confidence.

"What's…what's going on?" he muttered, looking at his hands in disbelief.

"Your Cosmo isn't strong enough yet. Your punches aren't fast enough. You've barely reached the speed of sound. Among Saints, that's—well, it's practically nothing. You need more training." Mika patted him on the shoulder and turned to leave.

He had achieved his objective.

There was no need to continue the fight. He needed to leave Sanctuary before his own Cosmo awakened and revealed his 'Unique' circumstances.

While not all of the Gold Saints had returned yet, there were still several present. He didn't want to attract their attention.

"Wait! Where are you going?" Seiya, snapping out of his daze, called out, following Mika. They were both heading towards the same destination: The Airport.

He followed, hoping to get some answers.

Mika simply smiled, offering no explanation. After all, his power wasn't related to Cosmo. He couldn't explain its source.

——

On the plane, Mika gazed out the window at the clouds below, a sense of peace settling over him. He had achieved his two objectives: Experiencing Seiya's Cosmo and leaving Sanctuary.

Beside him—Seiya was deep in thought, his mind filled with unanswered questions about Mika's abilities.

"Are you going to Japan as well?" Seiya asked. They were on a flight to Japan, and as far as he knew, Mika wasn't Japanese.

"Yes," Mika replied, turning his attention to Seiya.

"What for?"

"Just sightseeing," he said with a grin.

"Sightseeing?" Seiya's confusion grew. He couldn't understand Mika's motivations.

Mika simply smiled. Seiya wouldn't have guessed that he was the "sight" Mika was interested in.

He remembered that soon, a grand tournament—the Galaxian Wars—would be held in Japan, a competition involving Saints, organized by Saori Kido, the current reincarnation of Athena, still unaware of her true identity.

To fulfill her grandfather's dying wish, she had organized this unprecedented tournament, gathering ten Saints to compete for the ultimate prize:

The Sagittarius Gold Cloth!

Seiya was destined to participate.

And the Galaxian Wars would be the catalyst for a series of events, culminating in Saori's awakening as Athena and her eventual assault on Sanctuary.

Mika was interested in the upcoming—Twelve Temples arc.

Perhaps, through that battle, he could Rise through the ranks and become a Gold Saint himself.

After all, several Gold Saints would perish during that conflict. Therefore, his plan was to join Athena's forces—participate in the battles of the Twelve Temples alongside Seiya and the others, and then, seizing the opportunity, claim a vacant Gold Cloth and a position among Sanctuary's elite.

This would give him access to the resources he needed:

Gold Cloths, Advanced techniques, Even Athena's blood—all of which could enhance his power.

"Sanctuary is a treasure trove of power," he mused, anticipating the possibilities. However, these were just plans for the future. His current priority was awakening his own Cosmo. Only then could he truly pursue his ambitions.

"Awakening my Cosmo is a matter of time. Therefore, instead of meditating in some remote mountain, I might as well train in the city. It makes no difference. Besides, it's more entertaining." It was with this thought that he had followed Seiya to Japan, intending to train amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.

——

"See you around!" Mika waved goodbye to Seiya at the airport and headed off to find accommodations.

He needed a villa with a spacious courtyard. First, he had to exchange some of his gold for local currency.

He had done the same in Greece to purchase his plane ticket, though he hadn't exchanged much, to avoid unnecessary trips.

After acquiring the necessary funds, he found a Real estate agent and purchased a villa outright.

With his vast collection of gold and jewels from other worlds—money was no object.

Having settled into his new home, he learned that Saori Kido had announced the Galaxian Wars and the existence of Saints to the world.

Thanks to their immense power—news of the tournament spread quickly throughout Japan, and soon, it would reach the rest of the world.

"And when it does—Sanctuary will react," Mika mused, watching the news report. According to Sanctuary's rules, Saints weren't allowed to fight each other, especially not in a public spectacle like this.

Moreover, Saori's actions would undoubtedly attract Saga's attention. Whether for personal reasons or to protect Sanctuary's reputation, he would intervene. And when he did... it would be Mika's chance.

——

"That day is not far off." He smiled, turned off the television, and headed to the rooftop, basking in the moonlight as he entered a meditative state—his consciousness turning inwards.

Recalling the sensation of Seiya's Cosmo during their brief encounter, he searched for something similar within himself.

He knew the seed of Cosmo was already planted within him, though it was still dormant, hidden deep within his being, difficult to find.

"Not yet…" He emerged from his meditation, the sky already beginning to lighten.

He wasn't discouraged. He jumped down from the roof and began practicing his martial arts in the courtyard.

However, unlike his usual vigorous training, his movements were slow and deliberate, each punch and kick infused with his mental energy.

This was a training method he had learned from Netero—the Chairman of the Hunter Association.

Based on his understanding of Cosmo, Mika believed it was a power linked to both the mind and the body.

Therefore, for a Saint—a strong spirit was essential for amplifying their power.

He believed Cosmo was intrinsically linked to mental energy.
