DxD: I Steal Luck

Chapter 28: Chapter 28: Guide Issei 2

"Oh… their hearts..."

Though the slap left his head spinning, Issei gritted his teeth and managed a sheepish smile at Blake. After all, this was the sacred guide to picking up girls—they couldn't afford to miss a single detail.

"So, your next step is to play games like 'Reverse Harem' or 'Cross-Dressing Academy.' You'll need to immerse yourselves into the role of the heroine."

Finally unable to endure anymore, Blake used his divine power to suppress his amusement, maintaining his serious demeanor as he explained.

"After playing at least a hundred such games and continuously role-playing as the heroine, you'll completely understand their inner world. Once you achieve that, picking up girls will be a breeze. Wealthy and beautiful women will come to you with just a beckoning finger."

"Gulp!"

After hearing Blake's lengthy explanation, Issei and his friends couldn't help swallowing nervously, their faces filled with eager anticipation. They seemed to be envisioning their glorious future, their gazes gradually turning... unsavory.

"As expected of Master! You're incredible! We've wasted so much time living meaningless lives, dreaming of harem fantasies without making any effort! We've been completely unworthy of girls' attention! Thank goodness you enlightened us!"

Suddenly, Issei shuddered, his kneeling body trembling with emotion and regret.

"Exactly! Exactly!"

Hearing this, his two friends echoed his sentiments.

"Good luck, then. I only needed to master 50 games to reach this Class. I hope you can surpass me. Now, I have to head to the Kendo Club. I'll leave you to it."

Suppressing a smirk, Blake gave a light cough and encouraged them with the image of a benevolent mentor.

"Farewell, Master!"

Hearing this, Issei immediately bowed respectfully, his heart overflowing with admiration for Blake.

"Mhm."

With a simple wave, Blake turned and left gracefully, disappearing into the distance without a trace.

"Let's go! We're starting now!"

After Blake left, Issei Hyoudou and his two friends excitedly got up from the ground. Ignoring the stunned gazes of other students, they dashed out of the school, eager to buy the games mentioned earlier.

Meanwhile, the students who witnessed the bizarre scene were left bewildered, unable to comprehend what had just occurred.

"Master, you're so naughty."

On his way to the kendo club, Ling'er couldn't stop laughing, her sweet and playful voice ringing in Blake's ears.

"It was for the mission. Otherwise, do you think I'd waste my time fooling around with those three idiots? I'd rather spend that time training."

Hearing this, Blake rolled his eyes and sighed helplessly. For him, 100 luck points were a reward too valuable to pass up.

"Ling'er understands. But do you think this plan will succeed, Master?"

Ling'er giggled as she asked, her tone teasing.

"I'm not sure, but the chances are quite high. After all, those kinds of games are like a bottomless pit—once you get into them, it's hard to escape. We'll just have to wait and see."

Blake's expression turned peculiar as he spoke. Memories of kids who had been 'corrupted' by such games in his previous life flashed through his mind. It was a world ruled by traps and gender-bending...

"Alright. Master, good luck!"

With Sia's cheerful words encouraging him, Blake arrived at the kendo club. Under the admiring or awe-filled gazes of the members, he began his training. Occasionally, he'd offer guidance to a female club member who appeared in the original story.

Before long, night fell again. The other members had long since gone home, leaving Blake alone in the dojo. After taking a deep breath and wiping away his sweat, he slung his sword bag over his shoulder and left.

At that moment, in a deserted spot near the school gate, a black-clad, masked figure clutched a longsword tightly, silently waiting for someone.
