DxD: I Steal Luck

Chapter 132: Chapter 132: A World in Turmoil (Bonus chapter 1)

"Are you mistaken? I am not the reincarnation of King Arthur."

Looking at Grafiya, Blake replied calmly.

"My apologies, that was my oversight," Grafiya said after observing his indifferent demeanor. Her eyes flickered momentarily, and she offered a polite apology.

"One last thing, Lord Blake. Lord Gremory and Lord Sirzechs think very highly of you and ask that you treat their daughter (or sister) well. That is their message."

Hearing this, Rias's face instantly turned bright red. Akeno and Koneko also showed expressions of astonishment.

"Uh..."

Blake was equally stunned. Was this an official acknowledgment of him as a future son-in-law?

"Well then, farewell. I shall return to report."

Without giving anyone time to react, Grafiya gave Blake one final deep look before teleporting away via a magic circle.

"Ara, Rias, congratulations," Akeno suddenly said with a mischievous tone and smile, though her voice carried an unusual undertone.

"Seriously! What are Father and Brother up to?!"

Seeing everyone's strange looks directed at her, Rias huffed in embarrassment, her face still flushed. However, it was clear she wasn't entirely opposed to the idea.

Witnessing this, Blake couldn't help but scratch his cheek, the corners of his mouth curling into a faint smile.

---

Time passed like water, and half a month quickly went by.

During this period, Blake's daily life returned to normal, consisting of training, winning over the affections of the girls, and enjoying the perks of his situation.

The only difference was that Rias, Akeno, and Koneko had all moved into his house, transforming it into something resembling a villa.

After Rias boldly climbed into his bed and was caught, Asia, Akeno, and Koneko followed suit with their own motives, each taking their turn.

For Blake, it was both a joyous and exasperating experience.

Kanna, however, nearly caused an explosion that would've destroyed the entire villa.

In the end, a compromise was reached: Blake's stomach became Kanna's exclusive sleeping spot, quelling her anger.

This also led Rias and the others to stop treating Kanna as merely adorable, as the burst of power she displayed in that moment easily reached that of a Ultimate-class Devil.

Meanwhile, Kiba had remained unusually silent since Blake's use of Excalibur. His thoughts were a mystery to those around him.

Rias, Akeno, and Koneko aware of Kiba's past could only offer wry smiles.

Blake himself felt a headache brewing, knowing Kiba's deep hatred for holy swords. Grafiya's mention of King Arthur's reincarnation had further darkened Kiba's expression, as his tragic past was tied to counterfeit versions of the Sword Excalibur.

Thankfully, Kiba hadn't directed his resentment toward Blake, which brought everyone some relief. Despite his emotional turmoil, Kiba seemed to understand that the Church was the true culprit.

Beyond these events, Blake's defeat of Riser using the Excalibur had caused quite a stir in the world.

This included the Hero Faction, led by Cao Cao, and descendants of King Arthur.

Unknown location, at the peak above the clouds—

A silver dress embroidered with floral patterns couldn't conceal a delicate and graceful figure. Long, jet-black hair cascaded down smoothly, gently swaying in the night breeze, exuding youthful charm.

"The Sword of Promised Victory. Excalibur... defeating Riser Phenex. Brother, you must've endured a lot these past year."

The breathtaking girl, as radiant as a goddess, gazed at the sea of clouds. Her starlit black eyes were filled with concern.

Rather than being shocked by the news, Lia felt only worry. She knew her gentle yet resolute brother had only known a little magic arts when he left her two years ago.

What trials had he faced to achieve such tremendous power in such a short time and even obtain the legendary holy sword?

Rapidly gaining strength always came with a heavy price. Lia was deeply concerned about whether her brother had resorted to reckless methods to achieve his current abilities.

"Two more months... Cao Cao, I won't let you succeed."

"Brother..."

Raising her head slightly, Lia looked toward the golden-red clouds, her voice filled with determination and longing.
