Chapter 131: Chapter 131: The Bold Rias
"Reincarnation of King Arthur... It's possible."
After a few moments of silence, Rias's father pondered aloud, his eyes flickering with thought.
"Father, what do you plan to do with Blake?"
Sitting beside him, Sirzechs stared at his father with a serious expression, asking directly.
"The heir of the Silva family, someone capable of defeating Riser at his age, a wielder of the Sword of Promised Victory, and potentially the reincarnation of King Arthur these factors combined give me full confidence in entrusting Rias to him."
Hearing this, Rias's father chuckled softly.
"That's good to hear."
Relieved, Sirzechs let out a breath. They had never wanted to push Rias into a miserable situation. Even if Blake lacked these extraordinary identities and had only defeated Riser, that alone was enough.
All they needed was a way to annul the engagement. They fully respected Rias's right to choose her own partner.
"Grafiya, please head to the human world and handle the follow-up matters."
Rias's father softly issued his next instruction. He didn't elaborate, but it was clear he trusted Grafiya implicitly.
"Understood, Lord," Grafiya replied, her eyes flickering slightly before she agreed.
---
"Hey, Blake, thank you."
Back in the human world, at a large hotel in Kuoh Town, after a sumptuous dinner, Rias softly thanked Blake.
Hearing this, everyone paused and turned their eyes toward him.
"You're my girlfriend; this is something I should do," Blake replied with a gentle smile.
"Then, as your girlfriend, I should fulfill my role as one, too," Rias replied playfully, blinking at him.
"So, I've decided to move into your house."
"What?!"
"Buchou?!"
"Ara, you're being bold, aren't you?"
As soon as she said this, Asia, Koneko, and Akeno all looked at Rias in shock.
Only Kanna remained unbothered, casting Rias a brief glance before continuing to focus on her food.
"B...Buchou, there's not enough space in Blake's house," Asia stammered, gathering her courage to object.
"That's fine. I'll remodel it into a grand mansion."
Rias elegantly responded, leaving Asia stunned.
Although she and Kanna had been living at Blake's place, the undeniable fact was that Rias was his real girlfriend. Asia couldn't deny that.
After all, Blake had even fought a fierce battle against that intimidating man for Rias's sake not long ago.
"Ara, Buchou, sneaking ahead isn't fair. If you're moving into Blake's house, then I'll move in too," Akeno teased, smiling mischievously.
"You're just causing trouble, aren't you, Akeno? Always competing with me. Today, I'll make sure you understand who your master truly is!"
Hearing this, Rias's composed demeanor disappeared. Her brows furrowed as fiery, crimson destruction energy flared around her.
"Ara, ara, Buchou is so scary," Akeno replied with her usual calm, though yellow lightning began crackling around her, showing no signs of backing down.
Asia recoiled at the scene, startled, while Koneko hesitated.
She, too, wanted to say something, but the timing didn't feel right.
Living with her senpai would mean daily opportunities to challenge him in games...
Koneko silently convinced herself, her expression betraying her thoughts.
Blake, on the other hand, looked helplessly at the smiling Akeno.
From his intuition, he knew Akeno wasn't truly in love with him yet. At best, she held a strong affection. She was likely only doing this to compete with Rias.
"Rias, Akeno, this isn't the place to—"
Just as Blake was about to intervene, he suddenly paused, sensing something. His crystalline blue eyes narrowed as he glanced toward the door.
"Miss Rias, Akeno, using magic in a place like this is highly improper. Please refrain."
The next moment, the door opened, and Grafiya stepped in with a stern expression.
Rias and Akeno froze at once, hastily retracting their magic and pretending to behave.
"Grafiya, what brings you here?" Rias asked with a sheepish smile.
"I'm here to deliver a message from the Lord Gremory," Grafiya replied, her gaze sweeping the room before pausing briefly on the calm Blake. Finally, her stern eyes focused on Rias.
"Miss Rias, congratulations on your victory in the game. The Lord Gremory and Lord Sirzechs have successfully annulled the engagement. The related public opinion is also being addressed."
"Really?!" Rias exclaimed in delight.
Upon hearing this, Rias nodded happily.
"Lord Blake, the lord and lady Gremory, and Lord Sirzechs are deeply impressed by your efforts in defending Miss Rias. I have come to express their gratitude."
Grafiya then turned to Blake and said this seriously.
This caused Rias, Akeno, Koneko, and Kiba to gasp softly, their expressions filled with surprise. For people of such high status to specifically send Grafiya to thank Blake?
"You didn't come to the human world just for this, did you?"
Blake wasn't flattered by Grafiya's words; instead, he looked at her meaningfully and asked.
After all, he had used the Excalibur in front of so many people. Those with knowledge would undoubtedly recognize it. He had his suspicions about Grafiya's actions since her subtle gaze toward him carried curiosity and doubt.
"..."
Grafiya remained silent for a moment upon hearing his words, her expression shifting slightly, as if she hadn't expected Blake to be so perceptive.
"Lord Blake, may I ask if you are the reincarnation of King Arthur?"
Finally, Grafiya spoke, her question shocking Rias, Akeno, and the others.
The reincarnation of King Arthur?
Blake raised an eyebrow, looking at Grafiya with a peculiar expression.
He had initially expected her to ask about his possession of such a powerful holy sword, but he hadn't anticipated such a strange question.
