Dragon Ball:Vados is my Wife

Chapter 3: Chapter 3. The Wedding of Kahn and Vados

"I'm also quite good at housework, so I can help take some of the burden off you," Vados added with a soft smile.

Hearing this, Kahn blinked in disbelief and patted his face. It felt like a dream.

Here was a stunning woman, with an incredible figure, who was not only willing to help with housework but also had no material demands or concerns about his humble background. She's like a fairy! Kahn thought.

Suddenly, he jumped up with excitement. "I'm thrilled! I really like your attitude, Miss Vados. If you're all right with it, it would be unreasonable for me not to marry you!"

In that moment, Kahn felt an overwhelming sense of anticipation for the marriage. A beautiful, kind, understanding, gentle, and capable wife—this was exactly what he had dreamed of for years. With a wife like Vados, what more could a man ask for?

The conversation continued as Kahn and Vados talked for a long time, discussing their hobbies and interests. There was no rush to build a deep emotional connection—both felt that it could develop naturally after marriage.

In the end, they agreed to visit the Civil Affairs Bureau that afternoon to obtain their marriage certificate. They decided the wedding would be held three days later.

Outside the Western Capital

On the outskirts of the city, Kahn owned a one-hectare vegetable garden and a modest house shaped like a mushroom. This was Kahn's home—his estate in the Western Capital.

After Son Goku and Chichi had married, Kahn had moved out of Mount Paozu, wanting to give the couple space and privacy in their new life together.

As Kahn returned home, Chichi quickly approached him, her face filled with curiosity. "Kahn, how did the blind date with Miss Vados go?"

"Everything went well," Kahn replied with a smile, pulling out the marriage certificate he and Vados had just obtained from the Civil Affairs Bureau.

Chichi was momentarily stunned as she stared at the certificate. "You already got married?" she exclaimed in surprise. "It seems like you and Miss Vados hit it off really well!"

After recovering from her surprise, Chichi let out a sigh of relief. For the past month, she had been worried about Kahn's future. Now, she could finally relax.

Kahn poured himself a glass of water and took a sip before speaking. "We really clicked. Miss Vados is incredible, and I couldn't be happier. She's just as satisfied with me, so we went ahead and got the marriage certificate."

"That's great!" Chichi beamed. "So, when's the wedding?"

"In three days," Kahn replied. "I'd appreciate it if you could help me inform friends and family."

Chichi was taken aback again. "Three days? That's so soon."

Indeed, it wasn't just a whirlwind romance—it was practically a marriage at light speed. A blind date, a marriage certificate, and a wedding all within a few days. But despite the rush, Chichi was relieved that Kahn had finally found someone.

"Sure, I can help with that," Chichi agreed. She knew most of the people Kahn would want to invite, so it made sense for her to handle the notifications.

Capsule Corporation, Western Capital

In the sprawling yard of Capsule Corporation, the Briefs family was enjoying a peaceful afternoon. Inside the house, however, the atmosphere was anything but calm.

"What did you say?! Kahn is getting married?!" Bulma exclaimed in shock, nearly dropping the items in her hands.

Chichi had just arrived to inform her of Kahn's upcoming wedding. Bulma's face turned pale as the news hit her like a bolt from the blue.

"Bulma, there's no need to get so worked up," Chichi said gently. "I'm just here to let you know on Kahn's behalf. Whether you want to attend the wedding is entirely up to you. I'll be off now to inform the others."

As Chichi left, Bulma covered her face with one hand, feeling as if her world was crumbling. She had broken up with Kahn not because they had fallen out of love but because their busy schedules had kept them apart. She had focused on her career, and Kahn had been preoccupied with his training. The split had been amicable, but she always believed they would eventually reconcile.

How could this happen? she thought, her blue-green eyes clouded with sadness. Chichi's visit had shattered her hopes. Kahn was not just dating someone else—he was getting married, and the wedding was in three days.

Why? Why didn't he come to me? Bulma's heart ached. If Kahn had asked to rekindle their relationship, she would have said yes in an instant. But now, it seemed he had moved on without a second thought. Had he truly lost all feelings for her?

Later that evening at Mount Paozu

Chichi returned home to find Son Goku in the middle of a training session. When she told him the news of Kahn's upcoming wedding, Goku was just as surprised.

"Kahn's getting married already? That was fast," Goku remarked, scratching his head.

"Yes, they just met today, but the wedding is in three days," Chichi replied, shaking her head in disbelief. "Goku, it's your brother's wedding. You better dress properly—no training clothes!"

Goku laughed sheepishly. "Got it, Chichi!"

September 10th, Age 761 – The Wedding Day

The day of Kahn and Vados' wedding arrived quickly. The venue was the grand Metropolitan Cathedral, and by noon, friends and family had gathered. Son Goku, Chichi, the Ox-King, Yamcha, Krillin, Tien Shinhan, and others were all present. The priest stood ready to officiate.

The only notable absence was Bulma. Though her absence was expected, given her past relationship with Kahn, no one mentioned it out of respect.

As the clock struck twelve, the church doors opened, and all eyes turned to the entrance. There, walking hand-in-hand, were Kahn and Vados, the couple of the hour. They made their way down the aisle, drawing the attention and admiration of everyone in attendance.
