Chapter 31: Fight of the cosmos
Mori floated in the vast emptiness of space, his eyes locked on Cell, who stood motionless across from him. The calm before the storm was palpable, the tension between them thick as the void surrounding them. Mori's chest heaved, his body glowing with the power he had just unleashed. Stars blinked out in the background, seemingly crushed under the sheer weight of their energy.
Cell's eyes narrowed as he studied Mori, a smirk playing across his lips. "You've pushed me farther than I expected," Cell admitted, his voice a chilling whisper that seemed to echo through the silence of space. "But this ends now."
Mori chuckled, wiping the blood from his lip with the back of his hand. "We'll see, bug. We haven't even begun."
Both warriors exploded into action once again. Mori vanished and reappeared in front of Cell, his fist connecting with Cell's abdomen with a thunderous impact. Cell recoiled, only for Mori to follow up with a vicious uppercut that sent Cell flying into the debris of a shattered moon. The rubble scattered in all directions, creating a cosmic storm of dust and rock.
Cell roared, blasting free from the rubble, his aura flaring violently as he charged Mori. They collided mid-space, their punches and kicks moving too fast for even the universe itself to process. Each blow sent shockwaves through the void, distorting the very fabric of reality. Stars flickered and collapsed in the distance as the two fighters tore through the fabric of space, locked in a deadly dance of power and precision.

Back on Earth, the Z-fighters stood on the Lookout, their faces etched with concern as they felt the monumental clash between Mori and Cell from across the stars. The immense power surges rippled through the atmosphere, causing the sky to darken and the wind to whip violently around them.
Goku's brow furrowed, his fists clenched as he tried to grasp the enormity of what was happening. He could sense the overwhelming power, even from this distance, and it dwarfed everything he had ever felt. "This… This power… it's incredible," Goku muttered, shaking his head.
"We have to know what's happening," Gohan said, a sense of urgency in his voice. "We can't just sit here and do nothing!"
Krillin, standing nearby, nodded in agreement. "But how? We can't sense them clearly anymore… they're too far away."
Vegeta crossed his arms, his eyes narrowed in frustration. "The idiot is fighting in space, beyond where we can follow," he growled. "Even if we wanted to help, there's no way to get there."
Piccolo, his face stern, suddenly had an idea. "There's one way. The Namekian Dragon Balls."
The group turned to him in surprise. Goku's eyes lit up with realization. "Of course! We can go to New Namek and use the Dragon Balls to ask the dragon to let us watch the fight from here!"
Trunks nodded, his face serious. "We need to see what's going on, and this might be the only way."
Goku turned toward Dende, who had been watching in silence. "Dende, can you help us find New Namek?"
Dende nodded. "I can show you the way. New Namek is a long journey from here, but I'll guide you."
Without wasting another moment, Goku placed his hand on Dende's shoulder. "Alright, everyone, gather around! We're heading to Namek!"
One by one, the Z-fighters gathered close, placing their hands on Goku's back and shoulders. With a flash of golden energy, Goku focused, and in an instant, they all vanished, traveling through the vastness of space toward New Namek.

Meanwhile, in the dark vacuum of space, Mori and Cell's battle raged on. Mori had pushed Cell through the remnants of a shattered planet, his fists a blur as he launched a relentless barrage of punches. Cell, blood dripping from his lip, countered with a savage roundhouse kick, sending Mori careening into a nearby asteroid. The asteroid exploded into pieces on impact, but Mori recovered almost immediately, teleporting behind Cell and driving his knee into Cell's spine.
Cell snarled in pain, spinning around and launching a massive energy blast at Mori. The golden beam tore through space, but Mori deflected it with a backhanded swipe, sending it hurtling into the distance where it obliterated a distant star in a brilliant explosion.
"You're good," Mori panted, his eyes blazing with determination. "But I'm better."
Cell smirked, wiping the blood from his mouth. "We'll see about that."
They clashed again, this time with such force that the space around them seemed to warp, their fists colliding with enough energy to crack the very fabric of the cosmos. The remnants of shattered planets and stars swirled around them, caught in the gravitational pull of their battle. Each punch, each kick, sent ripples through the universe, distorting the light from distant galaxies.
Mori teleported behind Cell, delivering a crushing blow to his ribs. But Cell was ready, spinning around and catching Mori's arm. With a roar, Cell flung Mori into the distance, sending him crashing through the debris of several small planets.
Before Mori could recover, Cell was on him, his hands glowing with destructive energy. He unleashed a barrage of blasts, each one more devastating than the last, forcing Mori to dodge and block at breakneck speed. But even as he evaded the attacks, Mori could feel the strain of the battle beginning to take its toll.
---
At the same time, Goku and the others arrived on New Namek. The bright, green sky and the familiar landscapes of the planet greeted them as they descended near the village where the Namekian elders resided.
The Namekians, sensing their arrival, quickly gathered. One of the elders, a tall, wise-looking Namekian, stepped forward. "Goku," he said, his voice calm, "what brings you to New Namek?"
Goku wasted no time explaining the situation. "We need to use the Dragon Balls. There's a massive battle happening far away, and we need to see it. Mori is fighting Cell, and we can't watch from Earth."
The elder nodded, understanding the urgency. "Very well. The Dragon Balls are always at your service."
Within moments, the Namekians summoned Porunga, the great dragon. The massive dragon filled the sky, his powerful voice echoing across the planet as he looked down upon the Z-fighters.
"You have summoned me. Speak your wish, and I shall grant it."
Goku stepped forward. "We wish to be able to see the fight between Mori and Cell, no matter where it's taking place in the universe."
Porunga's eyes glowed brightly as he nodded. "Your wish has been granted."
---
Back in space, Mori and Cell clashed again, their power devastating the surrounding area. With each punch, more stars flickered and faded, their light swallowed by the intensity of the battle. Both fighters were now bloodied and battered, their once-perfect forms showing signs of wear.
But neither showed any sign of backing down.
Mori grinned, wiping blood from his mouth. "I haven't had a fight this good in a long time," he said, his voice hoarse but filled with excitement.
Cell, panting heavily, smirked. "Neither have I."
They rushed at each other once more, their fists meeting in a final, explosive clash. The force of the impact created a massive shockwave that rippled through space, obliterating everything in its path. Stars crumbled, planets were torn apart, and the very fabric of space seemed to shudder under the sheer power of their blows.
The shockwave knocked both fighters back, sending them tumbling through the void, bloodied and injured. Mori floated in space, gasping for breath, while Cell hovered nearby, his body trembling from the exertion.
The battle was far from over, but both warriors knew that the next phase would be even more brutal.
And somewhere in the distant cosmos, the Z-fighters watched in awe as the titanic battle unfolded, their hearts heavy with anticipation for what was to come.
