Chapter 4: Chapter 4
Upon hearing Gine's rhetorical question, Tallot suddenly realized that he had gone too far.
He quickly waved his hands, stabilized his emotions, and said, "It's nothing. I was just surprised to hear that Uncle Bardock would return so soon. I thought it would take several more days."
"That's right. I thought you were thinking something strange in your little head," Gine said, pretending not to care.
Tallot was special, and this had been evident since he was little.
Under normal circumstances, as long as the Saiyans were on par in terms of combat power, and as long as they were superior warriors, they would want to continue rising.
For example, her eldest son, Raditz, had tried everything to express himself since he was a child, to the point that after becoming a follower of the prince, he rarely came back two or three times a month.
Tallot was more mature and had a higher IQ, which was completely unmatched by his peers.
In this regard, Gine always compared Tallot to other children. Although all the children had been guided by the memory inheritance technology, the gap was still very large.
There were some discreet children like Tallot among the lower-level warriors, but their intelligence wasn't as high. Moreover, Tallot was a high-level warrior, a fully trained Saiyan fighter.
"Aunt Gine, please go ahead with your work. I'll go see Kakarot in the nursery," Tallot quickly made an excuse, fearing that continuing to chat with Gine might expose his inner thoughts due to his mood changes.
Seeing Gine nod, Tallot quickly entered the inner room.
When Tallot disappeared from her sight, confusion flickered in Gine's eyes.
She didn't know why, but she always felt that Tallot was a little strange today, even though he hadn't acted particularly unusual.
"Maybe I'm overthinking it, or maybe this child is really growing up," Gine said, then continued with her work.
…
Inside the inner room, the first thing Tallot saw was the breeding barn in the corner of the room.
The children in the training storehouse seemed to be growing very large. Even if their combat power at birth was only 2 points, their bodies were not comparable to those of ordinary human children.
"We meet again, Kakarot, but it's a pity you're still sleeping." After murmuring something to himself, Tallot stepped forward to observe from the closest distance.
Every time he came here, he felt excited.
Who knows why this kid is so special and the protagonist of the original story!
Reborn into the world of Dragon Ball.
If he hadn't been a time traveler, it would have been unimaginable that a six-month-old baby, the lowest-level warrior of the tribe, would not only reappear in the Super Saiyan legend in the future, but also become the most powerful warrior in the universe.
The memories came rushing back, especially that phrase, which was impossible to forget: When Kakarot transformed into a Super Saiyan, the anime all over the world was eclipsed.
In his previous life, it was just an anime, but now it was reality for Tallot.
Feeling the excitement, after a long time, Tallot took out the combat power detector again.
Although he had known Kakarot's combat power value for a long time and had used an old detector to check it before, Tallot still turned on the new combat power detector to check Kakarot's current combat power.
Beep, beep, beep... beep, beep, beep...
[Combat Power Index: 2 points]
As before, there was no change; he still had only 2 points of combat power.
The difference was that the detector also displayed the danger level and some basic information.
Of course, none of this data was important.
[After some time, you will be sent to Earth and begin your own life.]
Tallot didn't say it out loud, but thought to himself.
In fact, he didn't need to think too much about Kakarot, because he knew all the future developments of the plot.
As long as he didn't intervene or act, nothing would change.
His future was happy.
At least he could grow up without worry, and due to his special nature, he would gradually make friends with a great group of people, and then search for the Dragon Balls, continue training his disciples, and keep growing…
Compared to Raditz, Vegeta, and Nappa, who survived Frieza's despotic power in later generations, as well as Tabor, Broly, and Paragas, who lived on other planets… there was no doubt that… he was the most nurtured person in life.
"Sometimes, I really envy you, and even want to replace you. But as the days pass, now I have my own ideas." Speaking to Kakarot in the nursery, Tallot didn't care whether he could hear him or not, or if he could understand him.
After saying this, Tallot turned around and left the house without hesitation.
It wasn't clear whether it was the sound of his voice that disturbed him, or the noise of the door closing as he walked out, but Kakarot's closed eyes in the nursery twitched slightly.
…
When Tallot left the house, he didn't go directly, but instead conversed with Gine for a few more words before bidding her farewell and returning to his house.
The two houses were next to each other. Tallot's house wasn't big, but it was small and well-equipped.
For him, it was just right.
To live alone, you didn't need much space, as long as everything you needed was available.
"The instinctive feeling of fear has finally disappeared completely. In other words, those two beings should have left Planet Vegeta." Tallot sighed with relief at first, then focused.
Now, he didn't have the ability to think about the God of Destruction or the Angel.
"Once Bardock returns, I'll be 100% sure about how far the plot will go."
Leaning on his bed, Tallot began to think again.
In fact, Tallot could only deduce the plot based on what he knew.
For example, as a time traveler, he knew that during this period, there were actually many different timelines for development.
After a detailed analysis, two timelines could be considered.
The first was the oldest timeline of Dragon Ball Z. Bardock undertook a mission to invade the planet Kanasha. During the invasion, he was killed by the planet Kanasha, and therefore briefly gained the ability to foresee the future. This later led to Frieza dealing with the Saiyans and destroying Planet Vegeta.
The second was the later negative timeline of Dragon Ball, however, with this timeline change, it was better to say that this was a different story that happened in another time and space parallel. The plot turned Bardock and other Saiyans together. While invading Planet Cyril, through this mission, Bardock learned that Frieza was going to deal with the Saiyans, so he sent Kakarot first, and the plot developed from there.
In fact, Tallot was now relatively convinced that the world he was in should be similar to the original Dragon Ball Z timeline.
Since Kakarot was born just half a year ago, Vegeta, Raditz, and he were all five years old, and the current time was also 737 A.D.
In the Dragon Ball timeline, Kakarot was already three years old in 737 A.D., and also three years old when he arrived on Earth. This didn't include the time the spaceship spent traveling from Planet Vegeta to Earth.
