Chapter 251: Chapter 251: The Second Stop, Battle Through the Heavens
The night was silent.
Mu Chen lost track of how many times he had been intimate with Hu Liena and Huo Wu. At some point, Xiao Wu and Purple Pearl also joined in, leading to a night where Mu Chen reveled in the company of four beauties.
By the time the moon had risen high into the sky, Mu Chen quietly made his way to the peak of Tang Sect's rear mountain.
"Come out," Mu Chen called softly, looking toward a specific direction.
Sure enough, a figure clad in a black robe emerged from the shadows.
The person's fair skin stood out against the dark clothing, and her nearly perfect features made her appear otherworldly. The invisible aura of nobility and sacredness radiating from her presence was enough to inspire awe and reverence.
"Bibi Dong, you were really hard to find," Mu Chen said with a faint smile.
The woman before him was none other than Bibi Dong, who had been reborn.
"My name is Xiaodie," the woman corrected him calmly.
"Alright, Xiaodie. You were really hard to find," Mu Chen said again, admiration in his tone.
Xiaodie, formerly Bibi Dong, was as breathtaking as ever. Noble, elegant, and serene—any number of praises could describe this woman. Though she now inhabited a new body, her inherent beauty had not diminished at all.
"Is what you said true?" Xiaodie asked, her tone calm.
"Yes," Mu Chen nodded.
"Then let's begin," Xiaodie urged.
"Don't you want to take one last look at this world?" Mu Chen asked.
"Since I cannot stay and do not wish to stay, why look back at this world?" Xiaodie said softly.
"Alright," Mu Chen said, his gaze steady. He gave the order in his mind: "System, initiate the transfer. Move to the next realm."
"Ding!
System Notice: This transfer will be random. The next realm is unknown. Host must remain in the next realm for at least three months before further transfers are allowed. Proceed?"
"Proceed!" Mu Chen confirmed.
"Ding!
System has received the host's command. Please confirm personnel for the transfer. With every 100 levels gained, the host can bring ten individuals."
"Me and Xiaodie," Mu Chen said firmly.
"Ding!
Personnel confirmed. Constructing the dimensional gate. Gate construction complete. Please complete the transfer within 30 seconds."
"Let's go!" Mu Chen said, extending his hand to Xiaodie.
Xiaodie frowned, her body stiffening as she instinctively tried to pull her hand away. Before she could, Mu Chen spoke again.
"I don't know what kind of world lies beyond this gate. For safety, we must stay close. We only have 30 seconds, let's go!" Mu Chen said seriously.
Hearing the reason, Xiaodie—formerly Bibi Dong—felt his words made sense. Begrudgingly, she allowed him to hold her hand as he led her into the swirling vortex before them.
Stepping into the vortex, Mu Chen and Xiaodie found themselves in a wormhole-like tunnel. The silver tunnel surrounded them entirely, obscuring any view of the outside. After traveling forward for about an hour, they finally arrived before another gate.
The gate swirled like a whirlpool, its destination hidden from view.
"Are you afraid?" Mu Chen turned to Xiaodie and asked.
Xiaodie shook her head.
Mu Chen smiled, taking the first step into the vortex. A momentary dizziness struck him before his vision brightened. He now stood atop a mountain peak. Opposite the mountain, he could faintly see a moderately sized city in the distance.
"Can you let go of me now?" Xiaodie asked flatly, her tone calm as always. After all, they had been holding hands for over an hour.
Mu Chen chuckled softly and released her hand.
"Ding!
Congratulations on arriving in a new realm and completing the final inheritance of your divine position. Reward: Chaos God Divinity. Soul power has been raised to Level 100."
As the system's voice fell, intense waves of energy began to radiate from Mu Chen's body. The terrifying aura was so powerful that the surrounding space trembled, on the verge of collapsing.
A gray rune appeared on Mu Chen's forehead, and nine-colored light enveloped his entire being. The seven spirit bones in his body emerged on their own, drawn forth by the power of the divine light. Under the radiance of the nine colors, the spirit bones began to fuse together.
After ten minutes, Mu Chen's appearance had changed completely. He now wore a magnificent nine-colored robe, and behind him, nine dazzling rings of light hovered in succession.
"A Supreme Deity!" Xiaodie exclaimed, shock flashing across her face.
As someone who had once undergone the Rakshasa God trials, Xiaodie had studied many ancient texts. She understood the significance of the nine rings.
One ring represented a divine official.
Three rings symbolized a Third-Class God.
Five rings represented a Second-Class God.
Seven rings belonged to a First-Class God.
But nine rings—that signified the Supreme God, the pinnacle of divinity.
With nine rings behind him, Mu Chen had ascended to the highest possible divine rank.
"Congratulations on becoming a god," Xiaodie said softly.
"Thank you," Mu Chen replied with a smile, his gaze now seeing the world in a completely different light.
"We should part ways here," Xiaodie said suddenly.
"You want to leave so soon?" Mu Chen frowned.
"Whether it's sooner or later, we were always destined to part. What difference does it make?" Xiaodie replied calmly.
"Are you still holding a grudge about what happened?" Mu Chen asked softly.
"I am Xiaodie, not Bibi Dong. I've already let go of the past. As for the future, it depends on fate," Xiaodie replied with a faint smile.
"So there's still hope for us?" Mu Chen's heart stirred as he took a step forward and held her hand again, excitement flickering in his eyes.
"We'll leave it to fate," Xiaodie replied, pulling her hand away. "If we're meant to be together, we'll meet again someday."
She stepped forward and leaned in gently, placing a soft kiss on Mu Chen's cheek before pulling back quickly.
Mu Chen froze, stunned, his hand reaching up to touch his cheek.
"Thank you for everything you've done for me. Goodbye, Mu Chen," Xiaodie said, her face tinged with a faint blush. With a thought, the nine-colored wings on her back spread wide, and with a flap, she disappeared into the sky.
"I was kissed..." Mu Chen murmured, staring blankly in the direction she had flown.
Xiaodie—formerly Bibi Dong—was no longer human. She had become the last surviving Ancient Nine-Colored Nine-Winged Butterfly. If she had remained in the Douluo Realm, even if she avoided being hunted by spirit masters, she would have eventually succumbed to the passage of time.
That was why Mu Chen had gone to such lengths to find her and bring her here—to a world where she could live freely.
Watching her fading silhouette, Mu Chen whispered softly to himself, "Goodbye, Bibi Dong. I'll look forward to the day we meet again."
