Douluo Dalu 3 | Divine Destruction

Chapter 7: Passing Grade

Bringing his crimson eyes over the school Tang Wulin had no real issues with it. It was slightly below what he reasonably could receive but hopeful the so called Cold God would make up for that. It wouldn't be too hard for somebody like him.

Normally he would be getting a tour from a senior and then visiting his dorm room but he had other, more destructive plans that he would need to accomplish if he wanted to get into class 5. He had already tried bribery so this was his backup plan.

There were many ways that he could get in trouble to the point of being demoted however it was more difficult than most due to his martial soul. The staff would be much less willing to demote him as their Golden Dragon who spits out honor. That's why…

Stepping through the campus he stopped in front of a door. Kicking down the door weakly it flew off its hinges, flying through the air and hitting the ground, skidding for a few meters. On the other side of the door was the entirety of the school body including the faculty.

'I'll destroy it.' Tang Wulin thought to himself blandly, no emotion in his eyes. He wouldn't destroy it all obviously, he needs somewhere to be taught, however, he would destroy a vast majority of its more… unimportant parts.

Under the incredulous and fearful gaze of the student body, Tang Wulin raised his foot into the air, stopping downward with extreme force that would shatter the earth for dozens of meters around him. It would damage the foundation of the school itself.

However, before his foot could touch the ground a hand held him in place, long fingers firmly holding his leg in place and a slight chill enveloping his limb. Gazing at the golden eyes of the man holding him, Tang Wulin crossed one thing off his to do list.

'He'll work.' Tang Wulin noted to himself simply. The man in front of him had long ice blue hair, cold golden eyes, and pale white skin lacking any and all impurities like all high ranking cultivators possessed.

The man in front of him was Wu Zhangkong and just as he was examining the other, his future teacher was doing the same. With his plentiful experience, there was one thing painfully obvious to him.

The kick he had just stopped had the power of a rank 30 physical type soul master. An attack that was so lackluster in terms of effort had so much power, it was amazing. Not only that, it came from a nine year old child. There was only one word that could describe the child in front of him.

Monster.

Putting more strength into his leg Tang Wulin forced Wu Zhangkong's hand further toward the ground, the teacher's strength struggling to deal with the increased force. Wu Zhangkong was a technique type, he wasn't made for pure power.

That wasn't to say he was bad at it though. Putting more strength into his hand he threw Wulin's leg into the air with apparent ease. He hadn't used pure strength, he had used experience and technique to use his own power against him.

'He's better than expected.' Tang Wulin verified as he calmly placed his foot on the ground. The first attack on the door should have shown the faculty that they can't handle him and Wu Zhangkong stopping him showed that he clearly could.

"Follow me." Wu Zhangkong said callously, his voice cold, however, there was a noticeable trace of interest and amusement in his tone. He was from Shrek, he knew a monster when he saw one. The boy was a monster of the highest level.

Nodding his head Wulin followed behind his future teacher. Behind him, the student body looked at him like he was a monster, a demon even. A Demon of Destruction that had come to terrorize their school.

"Why did you do that?" Wu Zhangkong asked while they walked. It was something he was curious about since the monster didn't seem to have any emotions. He didn't attack their school because of anger or any other emotion meaning he did it to accomplish a goal.

"To enter class 5." Tang Wulin replied truthfully. He had no further intentions with the act he had just made, it was solely crafted for that goal. Of course, there were more goals and plans for after he achieved this step however they were not connected to his actions, not completely.

"I see. I'll have you admitted to my class under the guise of controlling you." Wu Zhangkong accepted almost instantly. There have been many with that goal in his years of teaching, the crimson monster was no different.

His approach, however, was astoundingly new. He didn't attempt to ask him nor did he attempt to request anything from the staff itself. Rather, he forced them to make the decision he wanted them to make.

"What is your name?" Wu Zhangkong asked seriously, intending to find out everything he could from his future students. In his mind, students were sorted into two categories, the failures and the monsters.

It was cruel but he wasn't aiming for his students to be average, he wanted them to be a monster and few of them had the ability to be what he wants them to be. Few can even endure his training let alone become a monster.

But the monster in front of him could do that. He could become a monster even above what he hoped for, he could tell. That was exactly why he was required to know all about this monster from his history down to his immediate family.

A teacher is responsible for the sins of the students and if the crimson monster becomes an evil soul master or something of the kind he will never forgive himself. For that reason, he intensely scans his students in both their past and attitude.

It was even more important considering he was looking at a potential limit douluo. He trusted the child would become extremely powerful but his attitude was the issue. So far all he could tell is that he was like a robot, a dangerous notion.

If he was like a robot it may mean that he could be easily manipulated by forces of evil or that he has already been touched by them. Neither option was ideal nor confirmed however it must be taken seriously.

"Tang Wulin." His future student replied robotically, no emotions in his voice.
