Chapter 7: Chapter 6: Tricking Wang Dong'er, Anything Goes
"I can't believe I'm sharing a dorm room with Wang Dong'er! Looks like Huo Yuhao is really out of luck. Without the Skydream Iceworm and those opportunities, he's probably done for."
"I should be seeing Wang Dong'er soon," Qian Ran thought, feeling a surge of excitement.
Wang Dong'er, also known as Tang Wutong, was Tang San's daughter, sent down to the mortal realm in disguise to attend Shrek Academy.
Disguised as a boy? Perfect—he could have some fun and let her experience how it feels to be one of the guys. Bumping into her "accidentally" here and there…
No, no, he couldn't be having such evil thoughts! He was a gentleman and shouldn't let himself get corrupted.
Despite his dislike for Tang San, he certainly enjoyed messing with the Tang family.
And Wang Dong'er was so beautiful; even if she weren't Tang San's daughter, Qian Ran wouldn't let her off the hook. But given that she was Tang San's daughter?
Kind-hearted Tang San had practically delivered her to him on a silver platter; how could he not take action?
If he could win her over, imagine Tang San's reaction when he saw Tang Wutong next with a round belly! What a sight that would be!
In the original story, Xiao Wu had stunning, long legs. Surely, Tang Wutong inherited that trait, another pair of beautiful legs that could captivate anyone. Qian Ran had a weakness for legs and found it impossible to resist a girl in stockings.
When Qian Ran arrived at the dorm, he was surprised to find someone already there.
The person had delicate features, fair skin, and large, unique eyes of a light pinkish-blue hue. Her short hair matched the color, and her handsome appearance was almost equal to Qian Ran's.
If he hadn't known the truth, he would have been fooled at first glance.
She had long legs, and even though she wasn't wearing tight pants, Qian Ran's keen eyes picked up on her unique charm.
Wang Dong'er!
Qian Ran immediately recognized the person in front of him.
If one didn't look closely, it would be nearly impossible to tell Wang Dong'er was female. Her hips looked slightly fuller, but if he hadn't known she was cross-dressing, he would have missed it.
She was almost a replica of Xiao Wu, aside from her hair color. No wonder—she was Xiao Wu's daughter. If he could first win over Tang Wutong and then Xiao Wu… even imagining the scene made Qian Ran's heart race.
He gave her a respectful nod, acknowledging her presence.
Qian Ran placed his luggage on his bed, casually observing Wang Dong'er.
Cross-dressing? Well, if she got taken advantage of, she'd have no choice but to suffer in silence.
Sharing a dorm room with him while cross-dressing—how daring!
"You're staying in this dorm too, right? I guess I'll let you stay since you seem clean enough. But remember my rules. First, no bringing people into the dorm. Second, no walking around naked. Third, no snoring at night. Fourth, don't bother me. Fifth, you're in charge of cleaning, but don't touch my bed. Got it?" Wang Dong'er crossed her arms and said coldly.
Seeing that Qian Ran was neatly dressed, Wang Dong'er felt slightly more at ease.
"Sorry, but I can't accept your rules, and I don't appreciate your tone," Qian Ran replied. Even though he was interested in Wang Dong'er, he wasn't about to play the role of a pushover like Huo Yuhao. His dignity came first.
"Oh? You dare refuse me? Then I suppose I'll have to make you disappear from Shrek Academy. Seems you don't respect me—let's see if you still feel that way after I beat you!" Wang Dong'er bared her teeth with a fierce expression.
She led Qian Ran outside to a clearing in front of the dorm and motioned for him to step up.
Wang Dong'er felt she needed to teach Qian Ran a lesson to make him follow her rules.
"Go ahead, make the first move. Otherwise, you won't have a chance," Qian Ran said with a smile. Wang Dong'er was no match for him; anyone below a Soul King couldn't touch him now.
"Arrogant! I guess I'll have to teach you a lesson myself!" Wang Dong'er's chest heaved with anger, not expecting to meet someone even cockier than herself. She was already a Grand Soul Master and ranked at the top among new students. She hadn't thought any freshmen could surpass her.
A pair of blue butterfly wings appeared behind her, with colors shifting from deep blue to sky blue, forming a beautiful V-shaped pattern that glowed like a halo against the sky.
At her feet, one yellow and one purple soul ring materialized.
From his reclining chair at the dorm entrance, Mu En lifted his head, a flash of surprise crossing his cloudy eyes as he watched Wang Dong'er and Qian Ran.
Wang Dong'er's martial spirit, marked by one yellow and one purple soul ring, amazed him.
The Goddess of Light Butterfly—one of the top light-attribute martial spirits, often considered the most beautiful on the continent!
"This boy isn't simple either, though he's likely no match for the Goddess of Light Butterfly," Mu En mused. He knew Qian Ran's talent was impressive, but Wang Dong'er's talent at her age was nearly unbeatable.
"Your cultivation level isn't as high as mine. It's not too late to admit defeat," Wang Dong'er said. Normally, she wouldn't have released her martial spirit so hastily, but Qian Ran had provoked her. She knew her strength well and didn't expect any other freshmen to be her match.
"What a coincidence; you're light-attribute too?" Qian Ran smirked, looking at the beautiful Goddess of Light Butterfly behind her.
This martial spirit was indeed stunning!
It was educational for sure!
Too bad Wang Dong'er was in disguise. Otherwise, he might have struggled to keep his composure!
Qian Ran noticed that, upon releasing the Goddess of Light Butterfly, Wang Dong'er's chest seemed to become slightly fuller, her face softer, and even in boy's clothes, her figure hinted at feminine curves.
"Your martial spirit is also light-attribute? Then you should surrender now. The Goddess of Light Butterfly is the strongest light-attribute martial spirit—surrender, and I won't beat you up," Wang Dong'er said. Although proud, she was kind-hearted and worried that fighting might hurt Qian Ran.
"What if my martial spirit is stronger than yours?" Qian Ran raised an eyebrow, ready to bait Wang Dong'er.
"Oh, keep dreaming. There's no light-attribute martial spirit stronger than the Goddess of Light Butterfly," Wang Dong'er replied dismissively.
"Then let's make a bet. If I'm weaker, I'll be your little brother from now on. But if I'm stronger, you'll be my little brother, and you'll do whatever I say," Qian Ran continued, luring her in.
As long as Wang Dong'er agreed, he could…
"Fine! If I lose, you can ask me for anything," Wang Dong'er agreed without hesitation, eager to see Qian Ran admit defeat.
With Wang Dong'er's agreement, Qian Ran released his martial spirit.
The back of his shirt split open as a pair of pure white wings emerged. His body rose a foot off the ground, seemingly defying gravity.
Under the intense golden glow, Qian Ran's eyes turned completely golden. A massive figure with indistinct features appeared behind him, differing from him only in the number of wings. The golden figure had three pairs of six wings, though Qian Ran could currently only use the power of one pair.
The incredibly pure, holy light aura filled everyone around with a profound sense of comfort.
A Six-Winged Angel!
This was Qian Ran's first time revealing his martial spirit to anyone.
"A… Six-Winged Angel?" Wang Dong'er's beautiful eyes stared intently at Qian Ran's martial spirit! The Goddess of Light Butterfly was indeed a top-tier light-attribute spirit, but only when the Six-Winged Angel martial spirit was absent.
In terms of light energy, the Six-Winged Angel was unmatched. Not even the Goddess of Light Butterfly came close!
