Douluo: Becoming a God by Relying on my Enemies

Chapter 43: Chapter 43: Dai Mubai Is About to Lose His Mind

The Iron Shield Duo were stunned when they saw their opponents were just two children. They rubbed their eyes, as if to make sure they weren't seeing things.

Even the host hesitated for a moment before continuing. After all, anyone standing here had the necessary qualifications to compete.

"It seems our Phoenix Dance Duo is truly young and talented. Let the match begin!"

The two brothers of the Iron Shield Duo quickly regained their composure. Without advancing, they instead took a step back simultaneously, their movements perfectly synchronized.

With a low roar, gray light surged from their right hands, and identical shields appeared. The shields were adorned with intricate patterns, and three yellow century-old spirit rings hovered around each of them.

They were battle spirit masters with tool spirits.

Despite also being strength-type battle spirit masters, the two brothers were fundamentally different from the opponent Xiao Wu faced in her earlier one-on-one match. Their combat experience was clearly rich, and they did not underestimate their young opponents.

Each brother raised their shield in front of them, protecting their vital areas, and then charged forward like a pair of unstoppable juggernauts toward Yun Feng and Xiao Wu.

Xiao Wu lightly tapped her toes on the ground, leaping effortlessly into the air to evade their charge.

Yun Feng, however, stood his ground. Seeing Xiao Wu dodge, he raised both hands and directly caught the shields of the two brothers.

"Not bad strength, but still far from enough!"

The brothers were shocked, exchanging incredulous looks. They couldn't believe what they were seeing.

This young boy, without even summoning his spirit, had stopped their combined charge with just his bare hands!

Realizing their initial plan wouldn't work, the first spirit rings of the brothers lit up simultaneously.

A faint light rippled over their shields, triggering a unique vibrating force that sent Yun Feng's hands flying upward and disrupted his balance.

This was their first spirit ability: Shield Vibration.

The brothers coordinated flawlessly, advancing one step after another, shields raised protectively, ready to capitalize on any opportunity to strike.

Xiao Wu sprang up again, her movements agile as ever.

Yun Feng smirked slightly, sidestepped their attack with ease, and leaned backward to avoid a head-on collision.

The brothers' shields whistled past, their sheer force making Yun Feng's clothes flutter violently. But the attack didn't land.

Before the brothers could react, Yun Feng's fists crackled with lightning. He struck out with incredible speed, landing two precise punches on their abdomens.

The powerful strikes sent the brothers flying. Xiao Wu seized the moment, her Scorpion Tail Whip wrapping around one while her legs locked onto the other.

Her first spirit ability, Waist Bow, activated.

With Xiao Wu's control, the two brothers spun through the air like a pair of tops. As their momentum peaked, she released them, sending both opponents flying off the stage.

The fight ended in an instant.

Both sides had only used their first spirit abilities, yet the match was over.

The audience in the secondary arena of the Great Spirit Arena was left speechless.

Some spectators even questioned whether this could still be called a fight. The Phoenix Dance Duo's coordination was perfect, but the Iron Shield Duo had barely had time to mount a proper defense before they were defeated.

Even the host, with years of experience announcing matches, was momentarily stunned. Nonetheless, he quickly composed himself and announced the Phoenix Dance Duo's victory.

After finishing their two-on-two match, Yun Feng's turn in the one-on-one arena finally came. As expected, he dispatched his opponent effortlessly without even summoning his spirit, using only his Thunder Fist technique.

The simplicity of his victory left Yun Feng feeling somewhat bored. These fights were far too easy to be meaningful training.

After leaving the Great Spirit Arena, Yun Feng regrouped with Zhu Zhuqing, who had just finished her own match. The rest of the team soon joined them, having completed their respective battles as well.

Aside from Tang San losing to Zhu Zhuqing earlier, everyone else had won their matches.

From the two battles, each participant earned two points and twenty gold coins in total.

Storing away his winnings, Yun Feng turned to the others and asked, "Can we head back now?"

Dai Mubai, who had been holding in his frustration for quite some time, forced a nod.

By now, both Flender and Ma Hongjun were nowhere to be seen.

Yun Feng didn't bother to ask; it was obvious where the two had gone. They must have slipped away to deal with Ma Hongjun's Evil Fire issue.

Tang San, unaware of the situation, asked curiously, "Where are the Dean and Fatty?"

Dai Mubai, glancing at Yun Feng and Zhu Zhuqing's proximity, waved the question off with irritation.

"They've gone off to... enjoy themselves. You know how it is with Ma Hongjun."

Tang San immediately regretted asking.

Trying to shift the conversation, Tang San innocently brought up, "Then, why didn't you go meet up with those twins?"

The words struck Dai Mubai like a thunderbolt. His face darkened instantly.

Zhu Zhuqing rolled her eyes in disdain but said nothing. To her, Dai Mubai was no longer worth her concern.

But Dai Mubai couldn't take it. Zhu Zhuqing's silence felt like the sharpest rejection of all.

It wasn't just Tang San's comment that cut deep—it was Zhu Zhuqing's complete indifference.

His frustration boiled over, but with Yun Feng standing nearby, Dai Mubai restrained himself.

He clenched his fists tightly, his body trembling with barely contained anger. A surge of white light briefly flickered around his hand before he forcefully suppressed it.

Seeing Dai Mubai's futile anger, Yun Feng, Xiao Wu, and Zhu Zhuqing exchanged mocking glances.

Tang San, finally sensing the awkward tension, asked, "What's going on here? Why does it fee

l like something's off with everyone?"

Xiao Wu grinned mischievously and replied, "Let me tell you…"
