Chapter 16: Peace Treaty
"G-Genocide!"
"Impossible!"
"How dare they!"
The officers screamed out in utter disbelief and horror of what they just heard. To commit such an atrocity is inhumane and utterly shameful. To eradicate an entire ethnic group is a sin only the most horrendous people would commit.
"When did this start?" Anastasias second in command said while still in disbelief.
Anastasia took a deep breath. "This has been in the works before the War. They wanted to eradicate all Koreans and replace them with Japanese people. The War only hastened the process and the consequences are already showing." Anastasia finished as she pointed at the city.
"We need to tell the Emporer of this, as he can spread the news to the World which would isolate the Japanese giving us a moral reason to aggressively attack and kick out the Japanese." She herself was horrified but didn't let it show as to remain the calm and collected leader before her men. Her heart aches just reading the amount of people that died.
"You're Highness, I think speak for everyone here. The Japanese deserve no mercy, we must punish them for this crime."
Anastasia looked at her soldier who said that and smiled. "Yes, your right. Get the the radio to contact the Vladivostok Governor."
She got the radio from her subordinate and contacted the Governor. *Static~* "This is Vladivostok Central Base who am I speaking to."
Anastasia cleared her throat and calmly answered. " This is Imperalis Dominus, we have an urgent message, connect me with the governor immediately."
*Static~* "Understood Imperalis Dominus, connecting the Governor now."
.
.
.
"This is Governor Alexander."
Anastasia heard the Governor and responded. "This is Crown Princess Anastasia Alena Romanova I need you to deliver an urgent message back to St.Petersburg."
-Meanwhile in St.Petersburg-
Knock Knock
"Enter." Click
"Your Majesty I come bearing news from Princess Anastasia."
Nicolas glanced at his attendant. "My daughter decided to contact me? What did she say?"
"It's better for you to read it yourself your Majesty." The attendant handed over a paper as Nicolas read it. His face went pale as he read the contents of the message and then turned crimson red in anger.
*Bam*
"THOSE DAMM MONKEYS DARE TO COMMIT SUCH A GRAVE SIN!!!"
In his furry he hit the table as he screamed out.
"GET ME THE DUMA READY I NEED TO ADDRESS THIS MYSELF!"
-Hours later-
As the sun rose from the horizon, the news of the Genocide spread across the world as newspapers came out in droves about the topic. From Washington, London, Paris, Vienna, Berlin and many more, the Nations of the wolrd found out of this atrocity due to the help of Russia.
People across the world protested in anger calling to take action as the Governments recalled their Ambassadors back from Japan, isolating the Japanese. They further put on sanctions on Japan to every possible thing that can be sanctioned.
Completely cutting of Japan from the world and supporting Russia in their campaign to liberate Korea from the Japanese Devils.
The Japanese felt this impact as their economy collapsed immediately as riots sprung out across Japan. With the ongoing war only fueling the riots as the Japanese people realized what their government is doing to the Koreans.
Japan can no longer hold on from multiple fronts as the internal war against its people, the economic war against the world and the actual war against Russia is draining their coffers dry.
Not only that, the Russian Navy joined the fight as the newly upgraded ships from the Imperial Inc. docks arrived at the Sea of Japan from the Kamchatka Peninsula. Decimating their Navy.
The Japanese Emporer had no choice but to take hold of government and sue for peace with Russia.
-Moscow 1 week later-
Moscow is a shining jewl of Russia as the city is lively as ever. But today is different as the Japanese delegation arrived at the Kremlin Palace where negotiations would take place.
"Welcome Ambassador to Moscow I hope the view was great" said the man who would greet the Japanese delegation.
"..."
The Japanese didn't say anything as the Russian minister cleared his throat and lead the way to the negotiation room.
When they entered they saw a girl that looked in her teens but then they realized that it's the
Crown Princess of Russia, Anastasia.
"Where are the rest of the negotiation team?"
For the first time since arriving the Japanese spoke as he and his colleagues looked around.
"I am the negotiations team."
They couldn't believe what they heard. A girl that's not even an adult leading negotiations with another nation?
Remember no one actually knows that it was Anastasia who spoke with the Qing during the acquisition of Manchuria as only Nicolas and the Qing Ambassador knows. With the Qing Ambassador mysteriously forgetting everything. With Anastasias involvement in the war also being kept a secret for now.
"Trust me I am enough." Anastasia replied as she pointed with her hand towards the chairs before her.
The Japanese sat down reluctantly as the head of the team stated. "I have full power to speak for the government and Emporer of Japan."
Anastasia nodded as she began speaking.
"As you know the War is still ongoing with your side losing land as we speak. So I'll be straight with you. I want you to release Korea as an independent Nation and compensating
100.000.000.000 pounds to Korea for the damages and the crime of Genocide. And publicly apologizing for your crimes. While handing over the ones responsible for the crimes. And before you rebute, Russia has the support of Britain, America, France Austria and Germany, so think before you speak."
The Japanese paled at her statement. Release Korea? Give them that many pounds? Russia has support of the rest of the great powers? They have no wiggle room at all.
"Oh and if you don't agree, the war continues until we reach your islands. With the rest of the world joining in."
The Japanese gave up, they need to end this war quickly before a revolution breaks out back home or being invaded by the world. The Leader of the delegation sighed and picked up a pen and signed the treaty.
Anastasia was right. She was enough for the negotiations.
Thus the Russo-Japanese War ended with the signing of the Treaty of Moscow.
