Denial, Blood of The Fae

Chapter 36: Chapter 36: Four Lives

So I was going through my index and realized I misnumbered them. I skipped 36, so I decided to make some filler chapter. This will show the lives of four people, some we have seen already, some we haven't.

I could have totally just redone the numbers, but I liked the fact volume 2 would have ended on chapter 50, so sorry not sorry lol. Hope you enjoyed the filler chapter, but keep an eye out, this has some plot stuff that help explains some stuff.

Morgan Le Fay could honestly say her life was interesting. That was for sure.

Her existence was that of three different beings born as one and seperated moments after creation.

Morgana Pendragon, the daughter of Uther Pendragon and Igraine. The supposed heir to the throne, taken by her sister, but she was fine with that, she would be wed to her future husband King Lot and be queen of her own kingdom.

Morgan Le Fay, The Queen of The Fae. The Fairy Queen. Witch Queen. The darkest fae of them all. The rival of Merlin and Arthur Pendragon.

Vivian, The Lady of The Lake. The fairy of the lake. The one who granted Excalibur onto King Arthur. She who trapped Merlin in the tower in the reverse side of the world.

Yet, despite everything they had all came together for one reason. Their sworn love for two beings. The love of their life, Artoria, and their firstborn, Mordred. The only beings they loved.

It allowed them to exist as one sole entity. To become one.

Morgana Pendragon, Morgan Le Fay and Vivian all died. Left in their place as a single being was Morgan Le Fay. The Fae Queen.

However tragedy happened. One day, a random creature had attacked them. The city of Camelot had fallen in a single day.

Despite the combined strength of the entire city, they fell. The creatures black scaled body and red eyes was all she could remember.

She could remember using everything she had and falling into unconsciousness. However when she had awoken, she didn't expect to be among the few survivors.

She saw the bodies of her wife and daughter laying nearby. Both pierced through by what looked like a spear, she knew it was a claw.

However the rumors that spread only brought hate into her heart. Rumors said that Mordred led a rebellion planned by her against Arthur. Dying in the process, but fatally wounding the King of Camelot. The Knight of Betrayal.

Retrieving what mementos survived the fall of Camelot, she left to the fae realm and returned as the Queen of the realm of fairies. Imposing stricter rools onto them.

Also splitting them up to identify what creature it was that attacked them. No answer was ever found. Not even in rumors or whispers.

An so life passed on. Until the birth of him. Her dear sweet child. The light of her dreadful existence.

Admittedly, using the "material" of your dead wife to create a second child was wrong, but Morgan was lonely and she wanted a child. However she refused to betray Artoria. So using the materials she impregnated herself.

All was well, she had eventually given birth to her child. Her sweet child. Blonde hair and blue eyes. Just like Artoria. His facial structure had been her own. The perfect mix of them.

Then it happened.

Some bastard had kidnapped her child. She knew he lived, only through the grace of her bond with him. Unfortunately the bond didn't have time to fully set it, so she couldn't use it to track him down.

So that left one method of finding him. Hoping dimensions till the bond clicked in place fully and then she would follow it to her son.

So many dimensions she had gone through. So much slaughter. Destruction. Hope. All for her son, and she had no regrets.

She wouldn't stop till she had him in her arms. Not even Death would stop her.

Kischur Zelretch Schweignorg, The Kaleidoscope, Old Man of The Jewels. Defeated of The Crimson Moon, not that people remembered that being these days.

The wielder of the second true magic and dead apostle ancestor were what he was most known for, alongside his pranks of course.

He found life bland and boring. He spent most his time amusing himself with his current apprentice Rin Toshaka. Venturing about the multiverse in bouts of curiosity, but for a while that had lost interest for him.

However something most definitely interesting had happened. Lorelei Bathemolei had taken an apprentice. Acknowledged someone as worthy to become her equal.

Most people might have forgotten who her family would only acknowledge as equals. He could vividly remember his old friend telling him that.

They would only acknowledge the first magician as their one true equal.

So he knew he had a fellow junior magician walking about. So imagine his surprise when it's a teenager.

A little research and he learns they attend Hogwarts as primary schooling. Was raised in an orphanage and learned of magic only recently.

Such a scary child. Capable of fighting fresh dead apostles so soon. Truly, the denial of nothingness of something to be feared, even untrained in its usage, this child used it to swing above his true weight class.

Not to mention the scene currently happening at Hogwarts right now.

How curious that a fae child could be born so powerful. To wield shadows with such a degree. To corrupt. To take on a form he did.

Despite what he had seen watching, Zelretch knew the truth, the shadows and Raven were all one single being. Brought together by the chaotic elements of shadows, souls, the denial of nothingness and the lost souls trapped in Hogwarts.

He could only be glad they had managed to subdue the child before he had to step in. As chaotic as he is, he doesn't wish for the deaths of all the children in that school.

He could only hope their plan with the ritual of sanity worked.

For now, he'd watch and see how his Junior handled things.

Artoria Pendragon could only smile as she watched Shirou and Rin get in another argument. Something about secrecy.

Politics of Magic users had always given her headaches, so she just threw Merlin and Morgan at them. They could handle all that. She preferred just swinging Excalibur at them. Usually made all the issues disappear. Having two mana batteries in the form of Merlin and Morgan handled the mana issue, Excalibur was a very magic costing weapon, even with her dragon core.

Just thinking about those times had her heart beating. Oh how she wished her wife and daughter were here with her. To enjoy these moments. As a family.

She could curse the fowl beast that had attacked Camelot and framed her daughter as the cause. Mordred had been a very loyal and steadfast knight. Loyal to the crown, loyal to the family.

Once upon a time she knew Mordred desired the crown, believing it as her birthright, but she had soon been shown that wasn't true. The throne of Camelot wasn't chosen by birth, it was something gifted to the worthy.

Someone who would deal with the burdens of being a king. Who could do what must be done. In her heart, she knew that Mordred hadn't been capable of living such a life.

However just thinking about her family was the only thing keeping her going at times, besides the little family she had with Rin and Shirou. Thankfully Rin had enough mana to keep her anchored to this realm, though admittedly Rin did need to use mana transfer with Shirou at times to keep topped up when she used Excalibur or her abilities too much.

For all the complaining Rin did, and Shirou's heroic idiot tendencies, she still loved the two as her family and would do what she could to protect them.

For they were all she had, and she would be damned if she didn't protect them to the best of her abilities. Though she would miss Morgan and Mordred, she felt they wouldn't want her to pass on like that, at least she hoped so. She wanted to die a kings death. She wouldn't fall without fighting back.

Izanami-no-Mikoto, Primordial Goddess of Creation and Death. The mother of the gods. She had died, burned alive giving birth to her final child, but had found herself reborn and bound to the realm of Yomi as its ruler.

Her bastard of a husband Izanagi, had seen her cursed form and ran away, terrfied. Putting a bolder at the entrance of Yomi and sealing it off.

Oh how she had hated the man, she still did to this day, but she had lost the rage, the betrayal and anger from then. Now she only felt cold anger at the man.

Despite her fate, she had learnt a lot from other death deities, and even taught some of them. She was one of the eldest beings around after all.

Her bestfriends Hades and Persephone had been very curtious and nice with her. Hela had been someone she had taken under her wing and saw like a daughter. Erishigkal had been a close friend of hers for a long time, she tried to visit her at times, alongside let a few souls slip into her underworld at times to cheer her up. Anubis was very indifferent and preferred doing his job, but he made good conversation when free. Yama was a good friend as well.

However despite all that, she had felt a pang in her chest for a long time. A desire to do something. To leave the underworld.

So she did. She easily broke the seal on Yomi's main entrance and then resealed it up afterwards behind her.

For the next couple centuries she spent her time wandering the world she and her fellow Primordials creators had worked to create.

Meeting new people was nice, but most the time they didn't like her presence and ran off. They had felt the presence of Yomi. A little bit of the aura of death would leak out of her at times. She could stop it, but she never bothered to.

Life had once again grown boring. She hated it. So she had popped down to see Hades, he had been good company, but both she and he could only complain about the biblical faction for so long before they grew tired and bored. Persephone was what usually guided their conversations.

She had then decided to spend sometime as a cat. She enjoyed being lazy and making people take care of her. Watching some tv and eating was one of life's many pleasures.

However she had gotten lax and fallen into a deep sleep, she had enjoyed a nice feast held by Hades for all the death deities of the various realms, and afterwards she had been a bit drunk and on the verge of a food coma.

So she had gone back to earth and found a nice sunny spot to sleep in. She hadn't expected to wake up in a cage inside a pet shop in a wizards alley.

She had contemplated breaking out, but decided to wait a day or two. The hangover she had was mind killing. Last time she tried to out drunk Hela, she should know better then to try and out drink a Norse being. They lived for drinking.

However, the day she had been planning to breakout, she had seen this curious boy with beautiful blue eyes, and an even more beautiful soul. Many people have had beautiful souls, she was just surprised to see one amongst the wizard kind.

Their eyes had locked for a moment, and Izanami felt a desire to know the child. To her surprise the witch he was with had bought her and given her to him. The way he had rubbed her had been perfect.

So she decided to stay with the child for a while. She didn't regret it.

The boy was interesting. A very studious young man, but he wasn't afraid to dig in deep and explore every single thing about a single spell.

He loved to fight.

He loved knowledge.

He had a very troubled past. Very troubled. She wanted to protect him. So she stuck around a lot longer then she thought she would.

Then the surprises came. He was a magician. He held the power of creation and destruction at his hands. Free to wield that power as he wished once he learnt to do so.

He used it for lazy things and Izanami spent fifteen minutes rolling around in laughter.

However recently weird things had started happening, random souls had started appearing. Souls of departed children who should have long since left this realm. To gone into whatever afterlife.

The magician hadn't noticed they weren't real. He had started falling apart. Becoming less and less aware of things. Spending time standing in the shadows and doing nothing.

Then it happened.

He had been attempting to take on an animal form, but something had gone wrong. Shadows had overtaken his almost ironic animal form.

She could feel something changing. Then he had changed into that rabid form. She had watched the elderly man's form try to stall it, she could admit he was doing alright, but he was struggling.

So she decided to help a little. Using the connection she had to the elder wand, the wand of Lady Death, she had channeled some power into pure mana for the wizard and given him back twenty years of his life.

He had held out just long enough, though the creature had managed to eventually obtain a more humanoid form and obtain the wand, but it didn't seem to recognize it as the owner, no, she felt it recgonize Raven as the owner. It had fought against it before being absorbed into Raven's soul.

However relief had come in the form of Lorelei Bartemoloei. She had fought greatly against the creature and managed to subdue it to do whatever they planned to help her favored one. She hoped they could.

If they couldn't, she would restrain it with divinity and have Hades and Hela assist her with fixing him.

She flashed herself to where she felt them and watched as they lowered him into a runic circle.

The Ritual of Sanity. She wondered how that would effect him and the creature going forward.

Hello everyone. I hope you enjoyed the chapter. I kinda liked doing stuff like this. Giving perspective of others.

Also I was wondering how you all would feel if I tried doing a first person view to give insight to Raven. Especially coming up with how he deals with everything that happened. Hes been just pushing it back, but eventually it's gonna come flying back and bite hard.

So we will see how that goes. Until then though…

BYE!
