Chapter 7: The Bound Gunman Arc - Dealing with Marines
3rd POV
Approaching the bound man, Pythias scratched his neck a little as he stared at him, each step almost sending a wave of malic to those around him, mostly marines. Somehow he could tell, that this man bound up would be an excellent first mate, and help in gathering the rest of his future crew.
Standing in front of him, Pythias would have a serious grin on his face as he eyed the chains.
"So...What did you do to end up here, which marine did you piss off to ridiculed so severely."
The bound gunman stared at him with such anger and fury, that you'd think that he was a raging inferno, before slumping back down.
"Not like a pirate like you would care, ya dig?"
Hearing that Pythias would just tip his head to the side, now more curious about the man in front of him story.
"My name is Silver W. Pythias, may I have the pleasure of knowing your name?"
With a scoff, the bound man would respond to him all the while looking down at his guns, with eyes full of longing.
"Rossland Aelo, ya dig."
(That's Aelo Rossland if introduced in English)
Pythias grabbed the chains, with all fingers but his pinky which confused Aelo for a minute but eventually he just assumed it was a weird quirk of his. He'd still raise his head up and look at the face of the scraggy-looking blue-haired man in front of him, trying to figure out what he was planning.
"So I have a question."
Aelo would look him dead in the eyes and see the completely serious expression on Pythias's face, and his own would change from one of calm fury to intrigue.
"Do you want to be free, to get your revenge on the people who put you here?"
Hearing that the look of intrigue would be gone from Aelo, replaced by annoyance.
"Yeah right, these chains are made of steel and forged to complete perfection, ya dig."
"It'd take a miracle to break them without a key or unnatural strength, ya dig."
Hearing that Pythias would begin laughing, almost uncontrollably as he put his pinky finger down on the chain and it began to disintegrate. Slowly it began to look like it was rusting away to nothing yet it wasn't at the same time. It began to spread across one of the chains, destroying it and loosening the binds on Aelo who stared at it shocked and then he had a smile on his face.
"So looks like a miracle came, after all, ya dig."
"Guessing you ate a Devil Fruit or something, ya dig?'
Scratching his neck he went to grab one of the other chains and played around with it as a few marines with rifles in hands began to approach the two. One in particular had a metallic mask on his face shaped like a fish with an angry look on his face. He had a long-blade prosthetic and one peg leg.
"Looks like you better hurry up if ya want my help, ya dig."
"Looks like I do, Ka Ka Ka, KaKaKa."
Then he began to disintegrate the chains one by one in rapid succession as the marines got their rifles out ready to fire the presumed captain put his hands up and spoke out in a robotic/human-sounding voice.
"Pirate, if you release that criminal we will be forced to open fire on you."
"If you surrender now, however, well we may just arrest you and send you to prison without so much as a bruise."
"As long as you don't undo that man's chains."
Hearing that another chain disintegrated, freeing the man further and leaving only one tightly wrapped up chain. Seeing this the metallic-faced man stepped back visibly scared seeing that alongside a few older-looking marines much to the confusion of their subordinates.
"Don't just stand around men, OPEN FIRE."
Unfortunately, before they could fire the last chain was destroyed, leaving a smile Aelo. He quickly leaned down and picked up two pistols on the ground, leaving a shaved sword on the ground. Then in quick rapid succession, the Marines fired with Aelo doing so right at the exact same time.
Yet Aelo was far faster than them as he fired at each marine who fired, hitting their bullets almost as if he could see the exact location of the bullets. Once the firing was done the bullets rattled to the ground each one fired having clashed with one another.
The marines looked on in fear and shock as Aelo smiled, standing to his full height which was a couple of inches taller than Pythias. Holstering his gun he picked up his sword and put it into his belt ready to be drawn in case he needed to.
"Ha, that was good, Ya dig."
"So anyone else want a taste of Rapid-Fire Aelo, Ya dig?"
He said as he reloaded his two pistols while the Marines except for the captain began to back off scared. The captain looked at them all with an angry look on his face and as one marine began to run away, he slashed at his back killing the marine.
"If any of you run away, you're dead you understand Marines!"
Then they stopped dead in their tracks as tears began to form in their eyes, some turning around and looking back at Pythias and Aelo.
"Captain Jack, Sir with all due respect these guys are monsters, we can't fight them without reinforcements!"
One of the marines said while giving a respectful salute to him as he well to their presumption an angry look on his face, as most people who didn't know him well enough would be able to tell what sort of emotions he was trying to show.
"We cannot give these two pirates time to escape, imagine the chaos they'll cause if they're free to roam about."
"No we cannot let any more dangerous pirate crews feel free to roam the seas, they must die here and NOW!"
He said as the rest of his body started turning into a series of blades and even his face grew blades out of it. Eventually, Captain Jack's entire body had turned into one gigantic group of blades with a new demonic-looking body and face to match.
