Chapter 28: Chapter 28: The Beginning
Seeing this scene over the Pacific Ocean, the entire world fell silent, unable to recover for a long time.
Kitchen utensils dropped to the floor, soup ladles slipped from hands, phones tumbled from their grips, tablets fell to the ground... It took a while for people to regain their composure amidst the shock.
It was as if they had witnessed history unfolding before their eyes.
They had witnessed the birth of a deity.
"Is this real?"
"Am I seeing things?"
"The world is about to change."
"Hahaha... This is truly amazing!"
"Humanity is in for a lot of trouble."
"Darn it, why won't he die?"
"It's too surreal. Could anyone survive a nuclear bomb?"
"He's a legend."
"This is great! Our master will conquer the Earth soon."
From utter silence to bustling chatter, the whole world was overwhelmed. Seeing the figure after the nuclear explosion stimulated them in unexpected ways. It aroused goosebumps, incited blood to rush through veins, and caused necks to bulge with emotion. This was the instinctual response to witnessing such a powerful being, a deep-rooted genetic reaction to revere the mighty.
Some surrendered to the power of the mighty being.
Some devoutly worshipped the arrival of a deity.
Some managed to break free from the genetic fear and reverence for powerful beings.
Some were engulfed by fear and panic.
And some, upon witnessing this scene, couldn't accept it and simply died on the spot.
Inside the oval office, three power figures over seventy years old stared wide-eyed, unable to accept the reality of this shocking event. They gasped for breath, pointed at H'el on the television screen, but their throats choked up, and they couldn't utter a word. Their fingers hung limp as their eyes stared into emptiness, lifeless.
Others in the room paid no attention to the deceased elders. Their faces had already turned ashen, their eyes devoid of life, counting down to their own demise.
Some individuals collapsed directly onto the blue carpet, their minds blank, frozen in the moment.
The President remained seated, but at this moment, an unexpected strength emanated from his slumped body. He smoothed out his sparse and slightly disheveled hair and, expressionless, opened a drawer, retrieving his treasured ivory-handled pistol, gently resting it on the desk.
"Everyone, leave," the President said softly, his gaze indifferent, devoid of much emotion.
In this moment, as he awaited death's arrival, he adopted an elegant demeanor and recalled his original purpose for entering politics. It wasn't for fame, power, money, or status, but rather solely for the thirty employees of a canned seafood factory in the town.
It was simply that... which had led him to the position of President.
He had long forgotten the hopeful gazes and faces of those thirty factory workers, but at this moment, miraculously, he remembered them.
Jack, Kevin, Herbert, Les, Roderick, William... All their faces appeared vividly in his mind, down to the last detail. He could even see them in their final moments, angry and heartbroken, clutching wooden wrenches and hammers, ready to strike him down.
He didn't know what had become of them, but he presumed it must have been challenging. Most of them had likely perished due to illness or poverty. Those who remained were probably cursing him as they awaited their own deaths.
The President's hand rested on the desk, gently rubbing the smooth ivory handle of his pistol. Suddenly, he wondered how he would treat civilians when he conquered the world.
He wanted to ask.
Pacific Ocean, beneath the dazzling night sky, H'el, with a massive black and orange fireball at his fingertip, manipulated his bio-magnetic field. The surrounding nuclear radiation was drawn in, forming a planetary halo around the fiery sphere.
At this moment, he truly seemed like someone, under the starry sky, lifting an evolving planet with his fingertip, an immensely striking and grand sight.
Sensing that the nuclear radiation was being absorbed and drawn in by the bio-magnetic field, H'el began to disassemble the fiery sphere from a microscopic perspective.
In the next moment, the planetary halo shattered. Clearly visible, the nuclear radiation followed the path of the bio-magnetic field, flickering with tiny blue radiative energy, akin to starlight, as it seeped into H'el's fair skin.
The fireball at his fingertip began to shrink as H'el used his bio-magnetic field to compress and rotate it. Suddenly, the fiery sphere reduced to a thousand meters, and in the blink of an eye, it was the size of a basketball. The explosive energy within it was subjected to microscopic particle analysis by H'el's bio-magnetic field, consuming it at an extremely rapid pace.
The fiery sphere at his fingertip eventually dissipated, and with a soft "pop," the black smoke vanished.
H'el's merciless and cruel smile grew even brighter.
The red glow in his deep pupils flickered unpredictably, and in the next moment, H'el in the night sky had eyes that shone like morning stars, yet there were no heat beams emitted.
Inside his body, H'el utilized his bio-magnetic field to arrange a particle accelerator-like orbit. The heat beams were guided inward by the bio-magnetic field, following the particle acceleration spiral orbit he had created, accelerating wildly.
H'el's right hand immediately displayed patterns resembling the orbit of a particle accelerator, with the red glow of blood vessels visible beneath his fair skin. A frenzied particle acceleration was taking place, and his entire arm turned a fiery red, as if it were exploding like molten lava.
He pointed his index finger upward, and at its tip, the heat beam energy particles had accelerated to the extreme, crashing into a cell filled with energy that H'el had released.
A small red sphere rose from his fingertip.
"Boom!"
Another massive and terrifying nuclear explosion occurred, and a huge red fireball appeared in the night sky. The terrifying shockwave washed away the receding seawater, creating a depression in the ocean hundreds of meters deep.
H'el had conjured a nuclear explosion with his bare hands.
Observing the immense power and creation of a nuclear explosion firsthand, the countless collisions of particles, fusion, and fission reactions, and his incredibly powerful physique, there was no reason he couldn't do it.
Leveraging his super-refined and terrifying bio-magnetic field control, H'el had developed a skill equivalent to a nuclear explosion.
"Let's call it the 'Heat Vision Nuclear Burst'!"
After all, it involved accelerating heat vision energy particles, colliding them with an energy-filled cell, and this skill had been realized during this nuclear explosion. He felt the name suited it well.
Compared to the explosion of a nuclear bomb, the attack intensity of the accelerated particle collision with a cell through his bio-magnetic field was even more powerful, and it produced no radioactive contamination. H'el was quite satisfied with this demonstration of nuclear power and gave humanity a good rating.
Humanity had been stunned.
Being able to survive at the center of a nuclear explosion had suddenly become quite normal for them.
However... conjuring an entire nuclear explosion with just a casual point to the sky.
Heh, who were these aliens? Clearly, they were divine beings.
Just as they were in a state of shock, the entire world, all electronic devices simultaneously, whether it was smartphones, computers, tablets, or radios, emitted the same message.
"March 1st, 12:01 AM, I am Dawn. I have now locked down all of Earth's networks, weapons systems, and nuclear launch procedures. Starting from Asgarda State, it is estimated that this nation will be conquered within 24 hours. This is a change at the highest level of the government, unrelated to the general public. Please stay in your homes, do not panic. Anyone attempting to cause chaos will be exterminated."
