Danmachi: God of Love System (Smut/Kingdom Building)

Chapter 9: Courting Death

First of all, this system is garbage. Usually, in games, the system guides you calmly, one mission at a time, with plenty of details and various hints on how to complete them. But this bastard just started showing a bunch of missions at once!

[Mission Completed: get the first member for your Familia]

[A Reward can be claimed: +2 cm of dick size ]

[A new mission is available!]

[A new mission is available!]

[A new mission is available!]

I calmly separated these missions into specific groups. First of all we had the divine love group. These quests were based on having relationships with goddesses and had wonderful rewards. For the system, the simple relationship still had a lot to develop, it separated the relationship with these goddesses into several progressive stages.

Among the goddesses that caught my attention the most and had interesting rewards were Freya, Demeter and the one that was in progress at the moment, Hestia. This one in question is going crazy wanting to talk to me which led me to arrange a meeting at night.

The second group was acts of compassion. It was based on all types of acts of love, including purity and carnal love. Things like healing broken hearts were included, as well as trying out new sexual positions or fetishes.

The third group that I ignored for now was called acts of calamity or simply put, acts of hatred and spite. I was the god of desires and that could be amplified to many things and in a way the system wanted me to not only be a beneficial force but transformative as a whole, even if it meant exterminating all life in Orario

Among the countless tabs with rewards and massive descriptions, without any hints on how to complete them, I focused on the ones that seemed easiest to resolve. I called them Familia development missions.

[Help one of your children reach level 2!]

[Provide better quality equipment for your children!]

[Teach magic to one of your children!]

[Acquire a base for your Familia!]

[Recruit three more people for your Familia!]

[Develop another business activity for your Familia!]

These were the simplest… and in summary, they all depended on money. Getting Bela to level 2 without resources wasn't impossible, but it would take a lot longer without support.

In other words, a fencing teacher could help, as would better equipment, a grimoire, and a spacious training field. A decent base would also make a difference and couldn't be ignored. Recruiting more people depended on the Familia having power and influence in most cases.

Earning money through the dungeon was more of a long-term investment. A level 1 adventurer without support I think they could make more with simpler, basic activities; the real profits come when they're stronger and can go deeper.

In short, I needed to use my great knowledge to get money and preferably new children who were not focused on adventure but on commercial activities. Although I could multitask at this beginning stage...

Each of these missions also had interesting rewards, ranging from resources to knowledge and new skills that could be taught to others or used personally. If I handled things right, I might not need to spend anything and keep all the profit for myself.

This whole time, I was thinking about how I could make quick, easy money. This world's society seemed underdeveloped in some ways, but at the end of the day, it wasn't as I expected.

This world had some technology, but to me, it was incomprehensible. Lamps, elevators, and other tech were powered by a unique energy source—the magic stones found in the dungeon, a cheap, potent, and clean energy source. And as an unknown source to me, it held a level of unpredictability.

My best shot here was as a chemist, but I didn't know enough chemistry to go head-to-head with them. I had knowledge in various fields as someone focused on academic studies and personal development, but my main focus was always engineering, and now I found I knew nothing again.

But this wasn't game over; the principles were probably the same, just with unique nuances. And I wasn't an ordinary person who would need to learn everything through extensive library research or paying for college. I was a god now and had some authority in that name.

I just need someone to give me some support, a genius mind capable of following my revolutionary ideas.Where could I find someone like that, let alone one willing to help a god with no resources?

After some guidance, I moved to the outskirts of Orario, where in an outer ring I saw a huge warehouse with countless people moving like ants, carrying large pieces of metal or crates full of crystals and unique materials from this world.

Each of them had a different task—some hammered hot steel, others carved wood for whatever purpose. This place wasn't very special to most, but here was where some of Orario's basic items were made using those small, peculiar crystals.

The place was surrounded by a fence and had its only entrance guarded by a surly but bored security guard. The only value he had was his ugly face that drove away anyone who was inferior. The good part? Is that I'm superior.

Walking confidently, I approached, drawing his gaze. Without much attention, I simply started crossing.

"Hey, seems like you're lost, but this isn't a place for your kind." I ignored the warning, marching forward with a fake smile. Grunting, he approached me; the man, who looked over two meters tall, loomed over me with his unshaven beard and an intimidating scar cutting across his face.

"Got a dick in your ear? I said get lost!" I stared at him for a moment, smiling with evident joy, my eyes like those of a sneaky snake—until I released my aura. And that little snake became a dragon, ready to unleash calamity. The world seemed to shake with terrible fear of me, the very air opening to accommodate my passage as the deity that I was.

"How dare you speak to a god like that! You're courting death, lesser!" I always wanted to say that! His ghostly white look of shock was just what I expected. His trembling as he fell onto his backside was a bonus, and the stuttering…

"M-my deepest apologies, sir! I didn't realize we had such a distinguished guest here. Please wait a moment; I'll inform the manager of your arrival." With a huff, I left him with one last deadly glare, as if I would wipe every trace of his miserable existence from the earth.

"I just came to observe, so relax. No one needs to know I'm here." He kept trembling on the ground, and I could be sure to see some urine in the pants. While I focused on why I'd come. I entered with the goal of learning more.

This guy is going to cry in the shower today.Sometimes I'm afraid of my talent for scaring people.Unfortunately, my presence wouldn't stay hidden for long, and soon they'd kick me out. But until then, I had to find what I was looking for.

In the middle of the warehouse, I could hear several people chatting and discussing, most with little intensity. From my perspective, that only meant focused, content people. Obviously, this wasn't what I sought…

In the distance I could see a girl banging her hand on the table with some gear around her. And a clearly enraged manage.Discussions like this were common throughout the history of humanity, a talented and misunderstood young fighting against the system that doesn't help him at all.

"You're an idiot! This could change the world!" Target clearly found. The rebellious little girl who looked like a lion was going to help me from now on
