Chapter 10: Between peaches and lions
I saw people rolling their eyes and ignoring the scene, which was apparently a common occurrence. The girl in question looked like a doll, her short hair was golden with a few black strands giving her a wild look like a lion... well of course if she wasn't as small as a rabbit...
She was dressed in short overalls exposing her smooth legs and a stained white shirt underneath. On her head she wore a blue beret with brass glasses and thick lenses.
"You with your stupid ideas! These tubes are going to bankrupt Orario! It's going to be a lot of work to assemble them and then to remove them, and yet you insist on this nonsense!" Her hands clenched and banged on the table, her sharp teeth opened and closed, spitting out more than her arguments everywhere.
"And what do you propose? to magically make a wire carry letters? Wake up girl!" Wasn't resolving it magically exactly what everyone expected? I could already see her jumping on him and punching him to death, blood dripping from her lips as she bites his flesh and her eyes glowing bright green looking for the next target.
"Calm down, you two, we can talk about this somewhere else..." Some pacifist man approached, dirty, and with a rag on his arm he put his hand on the girl's shoulder, who quickly dismissed him. Big mistake kind man, you never touch a lion, they will eat your guts.
Her fury was not over, however, as she punched the pacifist right in the stomach and, before he could react, kicked him in the legs. His face contorted in pain as his eyes bulged and eggs wanted to come out of his mouth.
With a snort she walked away in pure hatred, every step could make the ground shake as she passed me. She seemed to pierce my soul with that hunter look.
"What are you looking at, asshole? Do you want to get hit too?" I shrugged, letting her walk away and turning my attention to her manager, who was helping the pacifist in the ground.
"That girl is always like that, she never listens to anyone and she's even violent towards anyone who tries to help. Always insisting on being right no matter what. I thought she was going to change after that, but she's only gotten worse!" The manager was ashamed of the whole situation. Feelings of nostalgia and melancholy surrounded him, the whole story seemed to have some drama around it.
"Excuse me, I'd like to have a quick word with you." The man looked at me who as unconcerned, I certainly stood out from the crowd, everyone was working dirty and sweaty and I was here for a walk in a kimono. I think I'm too elegant for this filthy place full of sweaty, oily, smoke-smelling people
"I was looking for someone to help me with some prototypes and I was wondering if you could find me someone to do it." His eyebrow was raised and he was still confused.
"I don't know how you got here, but we don't take orders in person, let alone so informally. If you want to discuss something relevant, make an appointment with the boss at a prearranged time." His judgment of me seemed complete and with authoritarianism he dismissed me.
"And of course have some academic renown first, we don't want anything to do with students and arrogant amateurs like that brat. We're professionals working here, not a playground for spoiled bourgeois children like you." I saw so many bad things and so many fallacies in what he was saying that I was too lazy to reply.
But deep in my chest the burning desire to kick that snobbish face was immense.I need that more than anything. with a sigh I stepped right on his face and as if it wasn't enough, I dragged it a little, squeezing it and getting more dirty.
"What a shame, I thought I'd find people with a vision of the future, but all I found were dinosaurs with brains of stone. That girl looked better than you, to say the least, she's not the one lying on the ground crying."
The people around looked at me in shock as I spat in his face. I have to say his face looked prettier licking my feet like the pig he was. He should be sucking my balls instead of talking so much shit. Who was the idiot who taught pigs to talk in the first place? they should eat the shit and keep it in their stomachs.
I gave one last kick going away from there. This trip was incredible and I made some of my biggest dreams come true!
"Call the guards!" Lying like a fucked up loser on the floor, his nose was bleeding. His shout sounded like it was going to burst my eardrums.
"What a bunch of stressed-out people, go and have sex or at least have a wank, that should calm you down and I'll be on my way anyway." Leaving the shed with calm and quiet steps, even with so many staring at me, I considered myself a winner today.
I honestly don't know which guards exactly he was calling... ohh it must be the one who is pissed all over the gate! I couldn't help but laugh at the whole situation. This is more fun than I expected, I think I can play the gangster a little longer...
Near the exit I could see the girl looking at me, she seemed to have seen what had happened but turned and walked away without giving me any satisfaction. Her eyes had some sparkle, thinking that she had understood the whole situation and that in some way I had tried to support her. But she still didn't want to talk
Only when I saw her did I remember why I had come… It's kind of fucked up when you're at work and out of nowhere you see a bitch asking for a slap and you forget about everything…
Without trying to hide, I approached her on foot. In the first few minutes, she noticed me again, but continued walking as if paying no attention. Orario was large and had several paths and lanes common to all.
From behind I saw her peachy ass, her steps were firm and strong. Bringing a sense of unshakable confidence, I honestly had a hard time knowing if it was real or a reflection of his insecurities. It seemed like a mix of both… It seems a little more complex to me.
"What do you want with me?"After more than fifteen minutes of following her, she stopped and gave me a nasty look. She had a bad time, completely pulling me out of my thoughts without warning.
"I'm just going to my workshop, is there a problem with that?" Her gaze narrowed and at this point I was running out of patience. Again, she turned and walked ahead, this time her steps quickened.
Instead of following her, I stopped there and leaned against the wall, soaking up the sun,
Life didn't much reward haste after all. Just relaxing and thinking about how my dear Bela was doing. I didn't expect her to be able to kill a monster on her first trip, but it would be nice if she came back with something to cheer she up.
It would be a happy scene with me praising her and with the money we could buy good food and drink. So celebrating your success and radiant future. In the end, in love, she would ask me for all the three more... more strong, more fast, more deep.
It almost makes me want to pray one more time for this to happen with the greatest fervor of my life.
Maybe I can even tell her a funny story or two about myself before Orario and even today.
Yawning, I saw a girl with short overalls, a frown and golden hair walking calmly behind me. As soon as she saw me she jumped back shocked, she pulled down her beret and stepped in front of me again.her cheeks looked red and her embarrassment was visible to anyone. She was probing me and trying to throw me off by going around the block, she was insecure, it seemed that she was often followed around…
There are a lot of dramas involving her, I wonder what the story is?Should I get involved? Maybe there's still time to go away and pretend nothing happened.
"Are you here again? Did you miss something?"
"No… I just had to go back to get… see! see something… goodbye!" She got confused in her own words. It was funny to see her fumbling around. She's so cute when she stops being the little lion.Sighing I got ready, time to get back to the chase.
