Conqueror’s Desire

MC felt the immense pressure of the ocean crushing him as his body was dragged deeper into the abyss. He struggled, but something—or someone—was holding him down.

"No… I'm going to die here!" he thought in panic.

But just before he lost consciousness, something unexpected happened.

The water around him suddenly parted, creating an air pocket as if the ocean itself bowed to his presence.

MC fell to his knees on the ocean floor, gasping for breath. He could still breathe—but how was that possible?

Before he could search for answers, a pair of glowing blue eyes appeared in the darkness.

The colossal sea creature had fully emerged. Its shimmering scales gleamed like gemstones, and its piercing gaze studied MC with curiosity—as if it was assessing him.

"You… are no ordinary human."

The voice echoed directly in his mind.

MC stared at the creature in confusion. "What do you mean?"

The being coiled its massive body around the Temple of Poseidon, then raised its head high.

"The blood within you… is not solely human."

MC froze. "What?"

Before he could process the words, the hooded figure from his vision appeared before him.

But this time, the figure spoke directly to him:

"You are the last descendant of the Sea King… the only hope of awakening the true power that has long been sealed."

A chill ran down MC's spine. "I… a descendant of the Sea King? That's impossible!"

Yet before he could deny it further, a sharp pain coursed through his entire body.

His skin began to glow with the same blue-green light as the temple, and ancient symbols—identical to the ones in the sand—etched themselves onto his flesh.

The massive sea creature gave a knowing smile.

"It is time to rise, heir of Poseidon."

And in that instant, the water that had once freed him erupted with unimaginable force, sending massive waves surging toward the surface!
